A helping of shocked with a side of amazed
Thanks in no small part to the efforts of Liane, The Letter Box has earned a response after all of this time. The original was delivered to Liane, as she was the one who inquired at Bloomsbury, but she was kind enough to transcribe the text for me, which read as follows:


Dear International Association of Potter Fans,

What can I say? Rarely do I receive such letters, and never before in one beautifully packaged collection..

I apologize most sincerely for the long wait for a response. You congratulated me on his birth - and no, he's not a Squib - but David is indeed the main reason that i am horrendously behind on my correspondence.  Well - David and book 6 which (before the press start up again with the writer's block stories) is flowing like a mountain stream.

With many many thanks for sending me such a treat I am

Liane is going to send me a copy and hopefully a scan of the letter, which I will post for all to see as soon as humanly possible.

Thank you all again so much for helping to make this project a reality. I suppose I'm just sort of floored that, nearly a year later, it's finally come to an end ^_^
