Introducing my first work about my newest love, Ookiku Furikabutte!

It's a baseball anime about a jittery pitcher names Mihashi who changed schools to escape his Jr. High baseball team, who treated him horribly just because he loved to pitch and would not give up the Ace spot. He transfers to Nishiura High school, where they are just starting a regulation baseball club, and there he meets Abe, who recognizes that Mihashi truly is an ace pitcher and works hard to prove that point. It's so adorable and I'm so in love, even though the anime is only 26 eps long.

The characters are so wonderful and fun and the story is really good and touching, and of course who could go wrong with baseball?? *is wearing a Giants shirt and is going to the game tonight X3*

So yea, another drabble! I must be sick or something, doing all this writing. This popped into my head last night while I was trying to sleep, thus the horribly play on words for Abe's position.

Despite moving all of my stuff back home from Chico on Friday, I will be heading to Fanime bright and early Saturday morning with my posse from the valley!

We are going to be wandering around as characters from Pokemon, so please stop and say hi if you see us! I can hint at what character I'm going to be...*points at icon* Trust me...I'll be very hard to miss.

What better way to end the school year than by heading home to your home con and taking a bunch of new friends with you and getting to see the ones I haven't in forever?

So a now Barry Bonds-less Giants team is down in Arizona for the Cactus League Spring Training. They're trying out positions and filling gaps to create a new team and new offense for this new season, but unfortunately some things never change, or so it seems.

Today The Giants played the A's and Barry Zito was the starting pitcher. In the first inning, THE FIRST INNING, the A's scored 8 runs and Zito was taken out after only 2/3's of the inning. My boys in orange and black ended up losing 23-5 x_x

Whoo!! I am all caught up with the latest season of Avatar and DAMN! is it exciting!! So many changes and tons and tons of character growth has made it incredibly interesting and I feel sated and happy with the way things are going in the story.

I know this is late in coming, but today spurred the need in me to finally acknowledge and remember Heath Ledger. It's a bit wordy and involves an event from my personal life, but the vein all together is relevant, I promise.

I am definitely going to be seeing the new Dark Knight movie when it comes out, no doubts there. Yet seeing Heath playing The Joker will be bittersweet, knowing how the role affected him and how it was the cause of some of the suspicions of his death. But he must be remembered for the brilliant actor, irreplaceable father, and overall kind and humble man that he was.

Thanks for the memories and the movies Heath, you will always be treasured and remembered.

This is very amusing to me. I want to wait for my true love, yet I am an assassin and a backstabber. ^^;; Whoo~

So technically I missed posting on the 1st of 2008, so the 2nd will have to do. This year certainly was interesting and busy and I can't believe some of the things that have happened. 2007 really went by quickly to me, so I'm a bit excited to see what will happen in 2008! ^^

I'm not big on resolutions, reflections are much better, so I'm going to reflect briefly on the good and bad from this year. You judge on what was what. ^^;

- put Whiskers, my soul mate and best friend, to sleep
- graduated from Cabrillo and transfered to Chico State
- went to my first They Might Be Giants concert
- got a tattoo
- went to the All-Star Game in SF
- rekindled a friendship I thought I'd lost for good
- moved away from home for the first time
- watched some friends do things that I couldn't protect them from
- came to terms with not needing a significant other right now
- turned 21
- worked on being a better friend as a whole
- communicated and kept in touch better

A lot of them are more positive than negative, but really that's how the year felt. I hope that everyone else had a good 2007 and I wish you the best for 2008! <3

Happy Holidays to EVERYONE!!

I hope that everyone had a good holiday! My Christmas was very small and quiet, and it was so nice to be home for it. I got a few things that were completely unexpected, but mostly a lot of practical stuff for school. The best was a new iPod since my old one got a bug and quite literally died, but I did get a personalized Giants jersey and the Supernatural Season 2 DVD box set, so those were close seconds. ^_^

Now tomorrow I get to have lunch with a friend I haven't seen in years and in a week I'm flying to LA for a 21st b-day party. In between now and the 28th I have to hang out with people, see some movies, have Subu Bleach my brains, and various other things that can only be done in SC. I love the holidays~ <3

So much to my delight and horror today I discovered that there was a Bleach musical out in Japan, several in fact. Since I had seen the Live Action Sailor Moon before, I was very, very wary of what the Live Action Bleach would look like. Surprise surprise when it actually turned out to be somewhat decent! ^^

The costumes are done incredibly well and don't look like their obviously fake (example: Renji and Kira's hair), which only the Japanese can seem to do when they dress up as characters. I was most impressed by their Ichimaru, who almost seems to be the DJ of sorts, leading in the many games of Jan-Ken-Po they play (Japanese Rock-Paper-Scissors). They have a good mix of banter between characters before using the jan-ken-po matches to decide who will be singing one of their image songs, from the Beat Collections I'm assuming.

The best one, though, I have to put up here because it's just incredible. In this one Gin is looking for someone to sing a duet with him since he usually sings it with Matsumoto, who seems to be missing. Cue the jan-ken-po game to decide who is lucky enough to be Gin's new partner and...well, watch and see!! XD
