[05 Oct 2008|05:51pm] amelia89  Last night the Vivian Girls played at Bard, and I went to Smog to go see them. Smog is this grafittied warehouse on the border of the field and the woods where people pack themselves shoulder to shoulder to sweat out their demons while they listen to noise. I'm not a regular there. Most of the time I hate that kind of thing, I feel like nothing ever gets resolved. Anyhow, Pitchfork gave their self titled album like an 8.5 or something, and who am I to judge for myself what music I like? So, obviously, I went. It was great. There was a mosh, there's always a mosh, and I was right on the border of it, getting pushed around but not too hard. Just stay on your feet, just stay on your feet, there are enough people around you that you wont fall, and it was dark and the music was fast and loud but not too fast or too loud, and I felt really alive and really detached at the same time.  read cmnt 1

My goal is to move in with Jessica in January. I know it seems far fetched but we're both on low budgets so we'd look for somewhere really cheap, most 300 a month. we saw a few places. if Phillip moves with us, which we asked if he'd want to, we found a place for 242 for each of us. SO CHEAP...wtf. yes please. and it's nice, too! and I just need away from my mom, SERIOUSLY. I can't do that unless it's extremely cheap. so that's what I'm looking for. I need a new job. I'm so tired of Lowe's. four months of repetitive talking gets to me. "Hello, how are you doing today? Oh great! your total is $--.--. thank you have a good day!" Plus I am so aggravated with the people I work with, except for a few. I'm making my resume right now. I'm so tired of not having one single Friday or Saturday off. DEAR GOD. they gave me this Saturday off and two days before it's Saturday they tell me I have to work 11-8 LOL not going, either. My grandma forgot that my dad died. She just started crying on the phone because she asked to talk to him and I was like "..what? he died a year ago" and she was so confused and didn't remember. [28 Sep 2008|11:31pm] cinnayum what a perfect modest mouse cover. my new favorite thing to do is listen and sing and dance to lenka while eating julie's organic ice cream sandwiches! i'm reading lots of great books and have bought super cute things like pink ice cream cone earrings, a lollipop ring, and dresses. i still have a dreamy love life. i'm going on a trip with him and denise and i can only imagine the fun we're going to have. three days of laughing, good food, music, and waking up next to him. everything is perfect. read cmnt 5

It's on a Saturday. Can't remember the date right now, but I'll let you know. :) I'll be at Of Montreal with Austin, and I may or may not go see Coldplay.
