I really don't find David Tennant attractive. He looks about 14, and I'm not a fan of the big bug-eyed expressions.

I also do not get Dr. Who. I've tried watching some episodes, but it just doesn't click with me. computer_boy I admire you trying to get me interested, but I'm not and I have no reason why. There doesn't have to be a reason why.

I need help and I don't know how to ask for it.

I went to bed at 11:30 last night, almost unheard of for me being such a night person, and I slept until noon today. I feel a lot better. Must have needed the extra rest.

Now to put a shirt on and go check the mail...

I'm feeling another spontaneous bout of depression with no reason behind it. Just sitting here thinking it would be nice to cry but that it wouldn't fix anything. Not like my life is terrible, but there are some worries that won't leave and I'm too afraid to face them.

That's the worst thing about depression: there seems to be no reason or cause, just these low times. Feeling like this cripples the ability to function.

Anyone out there care to help cheer me up?

It is currently hailing sideways marble-size hail. Has been for several minutes. No wonder the cat is nervous.

Okay, now it's only raining. But it's raining hard. Note, this is an area that averages 11 inches of precipitation a year. This is unusual weather.

I got my paid account and extra userpics back. Guess I did have enough in my ol' prepaid debit card. It lets me add some Sims icons yay! This one is Melissa potty training Idalie, with extra bonus glitch. I LOL every time this glitch shows up in the game!

Everyone who speaks English - American, British, Canadian - can potentially fall into this trap. I hear news reporters use it. They should know better; they go through processes learning how to speak well on camera. I hear English/Irish/Scottish/whatever people use it, those types who still hold a superior attitude that they speak the Queen's English and are therefore somehow better.

That really peeves me too; so what if you spell things with extraneous "u" in them? Doesn't give you permission to mock American English. If you want to be all superior about American grammar, mock chatspeak. I'm pretty sure that abomination originated here in the ol' Colonies. Webster or whoever decided to write down things with new American spelling did so ON PURPOSE because he WANTED AMERICAN ENGLISH TO BE DIFFERENT. What's wrong with having some distinction between two dialects on opposite sides of a huge ocean?

In conclusion, try your best not to use the "have got" phrase.

Please don't use

s/he's got
it's got

or any other variation, lest I get angry. You won't like me when I'm angry.

She is one of my favorite CAS Sims. Sometimes one just really steals my heart, you know?

After all my previous rats died, I thought about not getting some for a while. But I decided to try having some sweet ratties again. I got two males - most likely brothers - from the local pet store chain, Zamzows. They're way better than PetCo or PetSmart: they know their animals, have great products, and a personal touch.

Anyway, the rats. One is blue hooded, the other blue solid. They are chillin' in their blue cage which has blue Carefresh bedding. I LIKE BLUE STFU. I think I will name the solid one Baxter and the hooded Palouse.

I'm happy to have rats again!! ♥

I hope Skeezix doesn't get THIS big!





He was 12 pounds when I weighed him on the 27th; he was only 7 months old then. I'm going to weigh him again the 27th of this month to see how he's grown. He's been averaging 2 pounds a month. It takes 3-5 years for a Maine Coon to fully mature, and the males are of course bigger.

He's my big fuzzy snugglecat!

So here I am, chillin' with my laptop in my rocking chair, feet propped up on another chair. Awesome afternoon, right? The cherry on top of this sundae of relaxing awesome: I have a big fuzzy kitty laying on my legs. He keeps giving me those slow blinks that mean he's happy in my company.

I was playing with my cat - more accurately disengaging him from tackling my ankles - and my hand banged against his tooth. Now I have a big owwie right over the cuticle of my right thumb. CAN IT BE IN ANY MORE PAINFUL A PLACE?????
