Yeah, there's some hobby store an hour or so from here that's having a huge sale, so guess what my mom and sister decided to make a family activity out of this afternoon. Dad managed to sneak off after a couple of minutes, so I hit the bookstore down the street. Fortunately, it didn't hurt too badly, though my wallet suffered a real blow.

...I don't really feel like reading, though. Much less doing homework. Mom's making dinner, so maybe after that I can escape to Bane's. I think Dad's planning on watching something on TV later, so we can't really do the movie thing here.

Come to think of it, why's it called dinner? ...or is she supposed to drop pans while making it?
Hm, is that what they call food for thought?
And this is just a taste of my grape potential.
This is starting to remind me of that "If we cantaloupe, lettuce marry" thing.
...I better knock it off before I turnip a vegetable in some hospital. Or make myself even more hungry.

...so this is a day late. I just figured the match would be a good thing to talk about... yeah, fine, I forgot again. Don't I get any credit for having better, actually tennis-related things to do? ...didn't think so.

I know it's early to be worming my way out from under the birden of schoolwork... but is there a sole soul out there among my favorite senpaitachi who might bestow upon me notes for Asuma-san's class? I was looking over the quiz review (at my mom's insistance), and I swear she never mentioned half of this stuff. Surely one of you must've had her before...

Not much else to report- although I did manage to hit the library today. All due credit to LJ, I think I'm ready to book it. X3

...so technically I was hoeing, but... I'm not touching that one. Blame Mom for deciding it was a good day for yard work and expanding the garden.

Come to think of it, I better go wash my hands of this stuff if I want to be on the computer--

Never mind. It's apparently time for back-to-school shopping. May as well exit this entry before my sister comes over.

Nothing to do... I'm very close to mentioning the s-word, the one that rhymes with "rule" and doesn't. ~~When do we start back, anyway? Forget it- I don't want to know.~~

Dad says we're supposed to get lots of rain again tomorrow... Bane, you up for hanging around at my place, maybe renting a videogame or something? I might even be willing to let you win once or twice depending on the game.

Heh. My sister just disowned me for calling the reminder to update our antivirus program an innovation invitation. She thinks I ought to get out more- can't imagine why.

09:56 pm - So can you have a dirty sweep?

I mean, if the whole point of sweeping is to get rid of dirt, doesn't it just follow that a sweep of any kind would have to be clean?
...sorry, at this point I'm clean out of ideas.

Suffice it to say my mom has high standards and refuses to see how aforementioned room-cleaning is ~~what I call~~ an un-called-for punishment. Whether the weather actually allows for other activities or not is beside the point.

Speaking of which, room-or has it I'm not missing much... Bane, did you get cursed or something? Call me if you're allowed to, before I lose it over here.

In summer, some're more active than usual, but I prefer to take it easy. Anyone want to explain that to my mom?

I should've posted about this yesterday, when it came- my sister nearly died laughing. Better luck next time. Heh.
Saeki sent me something after all, in case anyone wondered- really, though, it... you should see it, if you don't know what it is.

I made the trip to Yamabuki today... I hope Oji doesn't expect me to file a report. I got there too late to really make any observations. If the guy I played is any indication, though, they have a really strong team- then again, if we're not playing them next, I guess they can't be all that good, huh?

Oh, yeah. In case anyone hasn't heard about it already, I'm going out of town later this week. Mom's not sure whether it's Thursday or Friday yet, but we're going to go stay with my grandparents, who still think a keyboard is a key with a hole in it... (a key, bored... heh.) ...so don't expect me to be online much. Guess I better remind Oji about it, too, so he doesn't send me on a punitive tour of tennis-playing Japan once I get back...

...but I don't have a letter from Saeki. Wonder if there's a problem of address to be addressed? Hm, guess it makes sense not to send everyone something at the same time. I'm sure he's not being mail-evolent.

On the other hand... I've been handed a missionary mission, or so it seems. Either that, or I'm investigating some kind of weapon atop a nearby mountain...? Nah.
A journey because of my journal... heh.
