10:21 am - Christy reveals beauty secrets!

In an interview, Christy revealed her four beauty secrets:
1. Confidence is the key to sexiness. "Confidence, a sense of humor, and a healthy mental attitude are the keys to sexiness. Being happy is the most important thing; women who are happy possess inner beauty. Sexiness is a state of mind; don't ever try to be sexy. Wearing clothes that don't suit you and using exaggerated gestures to get attention aren't the way to go.

2. Clean skin = good skin. Christy recommends using deep-cleansing facial cleansers to unclog pores. Moisturizers are also important. Christy uses facial masks once or twice a month. Other tips: tea bags are good for dark undereye circles; watermelon is good for cleaning the face; honey can make the skin glow and keep it moist. A stint in the steam room is good for relaxation, while drinking lots of water can help rid the body of toxins and helping skin to retain moisture. Finally, using minimal makeup, getting enough sleep, and avoiding smoking and drinking are also important.

3. Exercising and eating a balanced diet. If you don't like to exercise, walking up or down stairs or even shopping are good alternatives. Avoid eating meat, and cook vegetables in water instead of oil. Christy also avoids carbs before she starts filming. She says that before she started working with Marie France, she didn't know that she should avoid eating too many grapes due to the high sugar content. Other fruits with high sugar content include watermelons and bananas.

4. Avoid over-conditioning hair. Christy says that she rarely visits hair salons and lets her hair air-dry after taking a shower.

08:40 pm - Christy on aging, motherhood

Not long ago, a website "revealed" the true ages of many female celebrities. Christy was among the celebrities listed, but she says she doesn't care about numbers. Instead, she said, "I'm old enough to know, young engough to try."

On her daughter, Christy says, "Don't see her as a seven year old. We're more like sisters!" She says that her daughter understands the nature of her work, and that she often reminds her [Christy] that the paparazzi might be lurking about and to cover her face when she goes out.

Christy just did a screen test for a Hollywood picture, and says that the roles she has been offered recently don't interest her. "Right now, Hong Kong is only producing gangster flicks. All of the women in these movies are 'vases.' Meanwhile, Hollywood is looking for female Asian actresses, but all of the roles are for martial artists. I like roles that are challenging and full of variety, that aren't stereotypical." Christy says that she her ideal role would be like the one Jennifer Garner plays in "Alias."

On maintaining her figure and her job as spokesperson for Marie France, Christy stresses that motherhood definitely does not negatively affect a woman's sensuality. She also said that she does watch what she eats, but that in Taiwan, she can't control herself when it comes to Taiwan's famous super spicy hot pot.
