REVISION.

and i start questioning whether all this stress and anxiety and effort and panic and sweat and toil and labour and loss of sleep is worth it... but of course it is, a little voice keeps telling me. but materialism and prestige aside, what do i really really really want from life?! i suppose that's something which needs to be thought about at some point, but for the time being, optimism and as few unburnt bridges as possible will pave the way to happiness... =)

so it's been a bit of a while, i know, i know, i know. my poor baby livejournal, how bad a mother i have been, neglecting you for all these months to pursue hedonistic pleasures. but i shall sin no longer, for i am reformed...

so. what's been happening in susie's life these days?! well, she's on easter holiday now. finally. the last term was dragging on like a biatch. essays nearly over... just one more to do (chinese law - "what was the purpose of the traditional chinese law of marriage") and then the exams. yup, that time of the year again...

career wise, pretty much all sorted. x2 internships with two top solicitor firms in the city, pretty much a training contract in the bag. next question is whether i'm going to be a slacker and settle for a 2:1 or work my ass off for a first. if something is worth doing, i put my 100% into it. so i think the latter is the only option. however, whether i want to be a corporate barbie doll for the rest of my life is another question though. big hmmmMMMMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmm.

other aspects of life, not so sorted. had a few friendship queries over the past few weeks and discovered who my friends *really* are. hurts a bit, but "friends" are only human. they make mistakes. whether those mistakes are forgivable or not is at my discretion. and i have chosen to exercise it. one of the truest facts of life is you can choose your friends, and that's exactly what i have done.
