Who is Barack Obama?
Probable U. S. presidential candidate, Barack Hussein Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a black MUSLIM from Nyangoma-Kogel, Kenya and Ann Dunham, a white ATHEIST from Wichita , Kansas.
Obama's parents met at the University of Hawaii.
When Obama was two years old, his parents divorced. His father returned to Kenya. His mother then married Lolo Soetoro, a RADICAL Muslim from Indonesia.
When Obama was 6 years old, the family relocated to Indonesia. Obama attended a MUSLIM school in Jakarta. He also spent two years in a Catholic school.
Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Muslim. He is quick to point out that, 'He was once a Muslim, but that he also attended Catholic school.'
Obama's political handlers are attempting to make it appear that that he is not a radical.
Obama's introduction to Islam came via his father, and that this influence was temporary at best. In reality, the senior Obama returned to Kenya soon after the divorce, and never again had any direct influence over his son's
education.
Lolo Soetoro, the second husband of Obama's mother, Ann Dunham, introduced his stepson to Islam. Obama was enrolled in a Wahabi school in Jakarta.
Wahabism is the RADICAL teaching that is followed by the Muslim terrorists who are now waging Jihad against the western world. Since it is politically expedient to be a CHRISTIAN when seeking major public office in the United States, Barack Hussein Obama has joined the United Church of Christ in an attempt to downplay his Muslim background. ALSO, keep in mind that when he was sworn into office he DID NOT use the Holy Bible, but instead the Koran.
Barack Hussein Obama will NOT recite the Pledge of Allegiance nor will he show any reverence for our flag. While others place their hands over their hearts, Obama turns his back to the flag and slouches. Do you want someone like this as your PRESIDENT?

This is a popular myspace bulletin going around right now. If you believe this drivel, you seriously need to check your head, because you're a gullible, ignorant retard.
For one: think about it. Conservative Republicans are all about middle-aged Caucasian rich men staying in power. That way they can keep all the money, power, and influence to themselves, as they have been for hundreds of years. I wouldn't put it past them to use religion (especially Christianity) to spread this kind of message -- hell, they've been doing it since they figured out it's an easy way to keep the uninformed masses under their thumbs. All you have to do is mention anything about Satan, Lucifer, the Devil, the Antichrist, etc, and people work themselves into a religious, panic-induced frenzy.
The religions of Islam and Christianity are very similar in their principles.
Here are a few similarities in what both religions believe should be done:
- There is only one God
- Be charitable
- Be honest
- Be kind to others
- Both believe in prophets like Noah and Moses
- A divine prophet sent by God was born on Earth to save his people from damnation
- Do not commit murder
- Do not engage in violence
- An eye for an eye
- Turn the other cheek
- Patriarchy (the man at the head of the household) is practiced
- Women should submit to men
- Fornication and adultery are sinful and forbidden
- Gambling and drunkenness are forbidden
- Their prophet will come again in the future (the Second Coming)
- Their Holy Book is the Word of God
- People will go to Heaven or Hell depending on their faith and how they lived their lives
- Idolatry is forbidden
So being as Christianity and Islam are so similar in some ways, why is it that we are so terrified of having Muslims in our country? Denouncing Barack Obama because he may or may not be Muslim is discriminatory, ignorant, and pathetic. And so what if he was born to a Muslim and an Atheist? That has absolutely no bearing on what religion he follows or how evil or good he may be. Plenty of people are born to Christian parents and convert to Judaism, Atheism, Islam, Satanism, and so on.
Wahabism is a different branch of Islam just like Baptist is a different branch of Christianity.
Wahabists believe in monotheism, or that there is one ultimate God, and only one God. They also believe that it is the responsibility of the individual Muslim to read and interpret the Qu'ran (or Koran) for himself. It also teaches to stray from vices and to be virtuous. How is this any different from what Christians teach?
Also -- if Barack Obama is Muslim, why would it not make sense that he would swear on the Koran rather than the Bible? To his religion, the Koran is the ultimate Holy Book. The Bible is not. This makes sense. It would be as meaningless to him to swear on the Bible as it would for you or me to swear on the Yellow Pages. So to him, if he swore on the Koran, it would be as solemn to him as swearing on the Bible to a Christian going into office.
I'm sure if Barack Obama turned his back on the flag and slouched rather than putting his hand over his heart as is the national salute to the flag, there would have been a LOT more press about it over the years, and not just a silly internet rumor spread around to make him look bad. Use some common sense, people.
And one more thing -- have you all forgotten the system of checks and balances? Everyone seems to think that the president is the most powerful man in America. He's not. He is a figurehead, a leader, and an executive decision-maker, but he is not the most powerful man in America. The most powerful man in America is not one person -- it's every single Senator and Representative in Congress. Congress has the ultimate power in America. It's through them that all of the decisions are made. They can back up the president, or they can decide to tell him to sit down and shut the fuck up. He can do a few things on his own, but when it comes down to it, Congress has the last say in what goes on in our country.
So really, people, if you are going to read this bulletin, use some common sense. Remember that there are going to be rumors flying left and right about every presidential candidate. Picking on Barack Obama for being *GASP* not a Christian, is pathetic, immature, and narrow-minded. He isn't the first president we've had that isn't a Christian. Don't believe me? Here's a list.

When I walked in the door from bringing Tahrah back home, Dad said, "They just found Heath Ledger dead." I thought he was kidding, but there it was, on the tv. I'm still pretty shocked. He was only 28... damn. This really sucks.
What is there to say, really? His career speaks for itself, and he always came across as such a kind and sweet man. I seriously regret never having met him.
