Things you realise when you grow up

I loved the original UK TV version of Whose Line is it Anyway? when it first started airing back in '88 (OH MY GOD, TWENTY YEARS AGO). My favourites were never the British improvers, it was always Ryan Stiles and Colin Mochrie - when they were on. Ryan became a kind of regular in season three, but Colin didn't really become one until season five. Nonetheless, the two of them - and the two of them interacting - is what I enjoyed and remember most vividly about the show.

Looking back, I was slashing them before I even knew what slash was :D

Social Life

I was out when Dr Who aired last night, taking in A Nite With Boy Blu - a friend of mine is one of the performers. It was AWESOME :D It's amazing the stories that can be told through dance. Some were really funny, some were dances just for the joy of dancing, but the most affecting was the story of the kind of man a young boy became after his mother died in a car accident. OMG. So, so sad. No talking at all - just dance.

And tonight I'm out to see Dolly Parton in concert! :D I bought the SisDoid tickets for her birthday - I can't believe the concert's here already. I just know it's going to be a great night. Dolly is such a character :D Of course I'm gonna be knackered for work tomorrow. And I miss seeing Top Gear as it airs! Woe, woe.
