07:33 am - Okay, okay, so I folded like a wet tissue ...
I started playing YO this weekend. x.x

Jon had mentioned wanting a tank and then on Friday I started feeling kinda in an iRO mood ... so there it is.

I'VE GIVEN IN.

My new boy is Panzer. He wants to grow up to be a tank.

I have Bayte as well. One day far in the future, he'll be an assasin.

07:46 am - He's my new hero
Now this: Jim Butcher's Livejournal is fucking AWESOME.

Some of you may be familiar with Jim Butcher. He's the author that writes the Dresden Files and the Codex Alera series (I come to him via Codex Alera). This journal of his is basically "How To Write A Novel". And it is cool beyond cool. *-*

08:45 pm - World Building
This article has made me think thoughts: TW Meta: It's the worldbuilding stupid!

This particular article is brought to you by the same logic and link hopping that got me into the Buffy fandom in the first place. (One day I'm gonna write out the path of that particular descent, because it amuses me even now to think of it.)

Anyway. I've only watched a single ep of Torchwood and am not actually entertained by it in and of itself, but I've seen enough and read enough fanfiction to understand it.

It's making me think of Fen's world. I'm thinking I may go ahead and start keep track of the pieces of his world that I have here in livejournal.

Of course, this is if I can actually remember to POST in livejournal. Between Buffy and work, I've been very much not around.

x.x

Ugh. I need to WRITE again.

12:57 pm - [Ficlet - BtVS] Entry (1/1)
Title: Entry
Series: Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Pairings: None
Notes: I wrote something! o.o

I like writing crazy dream stuff, if you hadn't noticed )

This is kinda like the prelude thought? Idea? Concept? Before one of my many BtVS plot bunnies. Eventually I'll write up all those plot bunnies and post them in the challenges at bloodshedverse. ^^;; Cause I fail at writing anything of any length without help ::coughAishuucough::.

07:57 pm - D= Why must my brain use logic?
I realize that fics loffle this for it's plot moving convenience (and yanno, the licking) ... but ....

It doesn't make a lick of sense that a vampire licking a wound would close it. I'd think it'd be like mosquitos: Licking the wound prevents coagulation, not assist it. I mean, seriously ... predators here! Why would their saliva close wounds instead of keep them open?

11:33 pm - This was not the kind of parting gift I wanted to give
Caught myself a bit of head cold crud. Everything above the neck is making with the extreme dripping. Total ewww. Felt it creeping up on me yesterday after the passport thing, and it struck in full out mode today.

So basically? I laid on the couch all day and played ToA, because drinking orange juice and tea is something to do between killing shit for Luke's Berserker title.

x.o And gawd, but Dragon Buster got tedious. I got it on my second try, but then I forgot to save, went to Eldrant, and had my ass handed to me on a plate by Legretta ... which meant I had to play AGAIN to get the title ... and apparently my playing sucked in a major way since it took me THREE HOURS to get the title again.

08:35 pm - Now that I've sold my soul to Buffy fanfiction ....
I have one important question in regards to Spike, chippage, and the consumption of blood:

Why not just eat other vampires? They've got human blood in them and they don't set of the chip. It wouldn't be warm ... but there's the whole new aspect of evil that could be explored there.

08:19 pm - R23
R23 episodematic villian: guy who fights with his shadow.

....

I just love the WEALTH OF DETAIL THAT FAILS TO ARRIVE WITH THAT SINGLE MENTAL STATEMENT.

Not to mention that I'm pretty sure it's been done.

01:12 pm - A little hectic
Katina's home for her 'vacation'. What that really means is that summer school ended and the fall semester hasn't yet started and all her friends at college were off elsewhere so she decided to come home. Basically. She's already told me not to tell mom that's the only reason she's home.

Meanwhile, Cedric is in the leaving in two days flurry as he and the parents try to get a car ready for his fifteen hour drive to New Mexico. Can we say stress? Stress comes with cars and college kids in this house.

Betwixt the two, my evenings are no longer my own. Woe. I wanted to get some things done and play some RO this week before I started school. =D On the plus, I've whooped both Katina AND Josh's butt in the Batman Trivia Game. Awwww yeah. Now she's all 'you need at bat tattoo like us' and I'm like 'no'.

So need to get out of here. It's like, when Chris and Jon wanna move up to three bedroom so I can join them, I am SO THERE.

09:19 pm - =D No matter how many times I read it, it never fails to make me smile
::Batman and Superman nearly back to back surrounded by enemies of all kinds::

Superman: We're surrounded, you know. I can hear them breathing.

Batman: I think we can take them. Do you think we can take them?

Superman: You always think we can take them.

Batman: Yes, I do.

Superman: Let's do it then.

09:29 pm - woe for euphRO
Just got back from church and still need to eat and shower. x.x Woe. No euphRO for me tonight.

=/ I think it's screwed up my computer too. After I've run the program, I can't get my computer to shut down. It REFUSES to turn itself off the way it should. I've had to cut the power every day now since Sunday. That's very not good.

Funeral was ... good. Lots of singing. Nice eulogy. There were so many people that every pew was packed like sardines, people were lined up along the walls, and they had to open the curtains at the back of the room so the people in the foyer could look in. What can I say? Linda Willis was that kind of woman.

09:07 pm - =D I had always wondered how one escapes a World of the Will
Blues: ::flicking through TV channels almost too fast for the human brain to process:: You've been frowning a lot.

Nightwing: ::popping popcorn and chilling beside Blues:: You're giving me a headache.

Blues: I wasn't talking to you.

Nightwing: Who were you talking to then? The remote? I can understand why it might be a bit perturbed by you speed burning it's buttons.

Blues: ::takes a moment out of his busy channel changing time to swing the remote at Nightwing:: I was talking to Fen.

Nightwing: ::he shifts out of it's path:: Ah, the ice cube. I can see why frowning would be an event.

Blues: ::rolls eyes behind glasses:: ::to the ice cub -- er, Fenris:: Well? What's got your panties in a twist?

Fenris: ::it's a statement of his frowning that he doesn't throw anything sharp and pointy at Blues:: ::lowers his book to his lap, head tilting slightly to the side:: Something is ... wrong.

Nightwing: ::looks up curiously:: Wrong?

Fenris: Wrong.

Blues: ::leaning forward:: Care to be more specific?

Fenris: No. ::another frown:: There is just something ... off. I can not place my finger upon the cause, which may be cause for concern.

::thirty seconds of silence::

Blues: Off? How off? Like spacial shift off?

Nightwing: Timeline off?

Blues: Heartless off?

Nightwing: Demons off?

Blues: Reno not acting like a whore in the closet off?

Nightwing: Something more serious than Reno's love life, Blues, off?

Fenris: ::sighs:: ::always surrounded by morons ... even when they're the smart morons:: Off. Not completely correct. Somewhere there is a ... derivative. A mistake. A flaw in an otherwise normal world.

Blues: ::musingly:: Flaw ....

Nightwing: ::eyes narrow:: Could it be /them/?

Fenris: /They/ are subtle, true. I suspect that the fact that Reno and Hikari continue to exist is sufficient proof that /they/ are not among us.

Blues: ::puffs out a breath:: One day I'll hear the full story about that ...

Nightwing: ::shakes his head:: That's Reno's story to explain. He remembers it the clearest. We were ... compromised.

Fenris: Indeed.

Blues: Well, if it isn't /them/ and it isn't heartless and it's not some other creature of evil bent to destroy the temples ... then what is it?

Fenris: ::leans back in his chair as if to ponder Blues' question and pauses:: ::stands up and turns to look at the chair:: I have a question.

Blues: ::eyebrows raise:: Shoot.

Fenris: Everyone did come back from underneath the chair, did they not?

Blues: ::a crease marred the space between his eyebrows:: Yeah ...

Fenris: How can you be certain?

Blues: ::somewhat sarcastically:: As likely as it is for Sora and Lloyd to get lost in one room, they did come back in one piece ... amazingly enough.

Fenris: I am not concerned about Sora and Lloyd. They are not encumbered with an excess of intelligence.

Blues: Annnnnd that makes them subjects of unconcern how?

Fenris: That world is will made real. Belief is power. The mind is death. Sora and Lloyd would believe they would return without difficulty. Zelos and Kratos ... could never be entirely convinced of that fact.

Nightwing: ::follows the line of Fen's reasoning first:: They may never have come back at all. The two we have here now --

Blues: ::finishes it:: -- could be imposters.

Nightwing: ::eyes the chair with newfound wariness:: And will made real could make fakes that are impossible to detect.

Blues: ::looks up at Fenris:: But might not be impossible to detect with Sight.

Fenris: ::inclines his head:: As you say. They might be 'off'.

Nightwing: There's too many of mights here. 'Off' and 'might' aren't good enough to convict anyone.

Blue: Fen? ::tone of voice somewhat odd:: How do we know /you/ came back from that world?

Fenris: ::gestures with a hand:: You do not know. Everything from that point may be a cleverly conceived lie, the first step in a more insidious plan.

Nightwing: ::nods, almost amicably:: Your desire to incriminate Kratos and Zelos would conveniently shift the focus of our attention from the true objective.

Blues: Except that he mentioned these things in front of me and /I/ know that he went in there.

Nightwing: ::eyes don't move from Fen's:: Indicating that if he really wanted to deceive us, he would have only told me.

Blues: But that's the thing that clinches our belief in him, right? We think that if he was fake he'd just tell you and if he was real he'd tell us both.

Nightwing: ::nods:: Exceptionally clever plan, that.

Blues: Good thing we're suspicious now.

Nightwing: I'm curious. If you did escape the world under the chair ... HOW did you escape it?

Fenris: I Slipped.

Blues: Slipped? You fell down?

Fenris: Turning invisible is called Slipping. ::voice grows distant as his focus wanders to his adventures beneath the chair:: It is an astounding place. The holorooms can fool the normal five senses, the world of the will can fool every sense you might imagine. ::focus sharpens into the present:: But when I Slipped ... it was like standing half in a barren emptiness and half in a mist filled with a thousand swirls of color. My trail was difficult to follow back, but not impossible.

Nightwing: ::curious:: There was no one in there?

Fenris: Not that I ever knew of.

Nightwing: Then I question the fact that /anyone/ could be an imposter. We can't know for a fact the world's properties extends past the borders.

Blues: If it's /will/, then someone's belief that someone was out to get them might /create/ someone out to get them.

Fenris: Kratos IS exceptionally paranoid.

Blues: So are you.

Fenris: All the more reason to be cautious, yes?

Nightwing: We're still running up against the problem of will existing outside the world.

Blues: A reasonable argument.

Fenris: That opens the possibility that it is /not/ the world that is creating the possible imposters. They might be a creation of an entirely different entity. The world may only be serving the purpose of trapping the real Kratos and Zelos.

Nightwing: Bringing us back to suspecting you as well.

Fenris: Indeed.

Blues: So what do we do?

Reno: Leave it alone until they do something suspicious, of course. I mean, seriously, what do we care if they came back or not as long as their imposters aren't causing trouble?

::silence::

Blues: ::kicks him in the shin:: When did YOU get back from the closet?

Nightwing: Back around the point you mentioned /them/.

Fenris: That would be cause enough for Reno to drop sex.

Reno: Drop nothing. We were afterglowing and I ran out of booze.

--------------------------------------------------

I had always wondered, yanno? I figured Lloyd and Sora would be good. But Kratos and Zelos didn't necessarily return and if they DID, what if they ended up having something follow them out (since Zelos was thinking there was someone pulling the strings)? There's also the possibility that only ONE of them made it back and the other is fake. And then comes the idea that if Kratos and/or Zelos didn't come back ... what about Fen? I mean, he WAS covering the portal to this world with the chair so he had to have known about that world ... what if he went into it? Then there is no guarantee that Fen is Fen either.

Hell, you could make it more dubious with Sora and Lloyd not necessarily getting back. That would easy as pie to send Riku off into the world and getting him suckied up too. It could be all kinds of craziness.

The possibilities!!

=D And Nightwing only stars because The Tag Team is busy at work driving Reno nuts. Reno beats them all with his uberplan.
