U P D A T E 04/23/07
Ohayo minna! How have you been? It's about that time for an update
so I together a bunch of stuff that I have been listening to recently.
This update includes stuff from Ghost in the Shell SAC (TV and movie)
and DEATHNOTE as well as some other random anime and stuff. Enjoy!

1.GLORIA by yOKO kANNO
This is a beautiful track from the Vision of Escaflowne Soundtracks.
I would describe it as moving. I love it! NOTE: this is an ogg
file and requires an ogg codec> to
play in Windown Media Player.

2.WHITE STATION by aCE fILE
The cute ED of I My Me! Strawberry Eggs! Which I have never
actually seen...but I like the song.

3.FLAME by bUCK-tICK
I may have put this song up before, but I don't care, it's
too awesome not to put up again <3

4.IDOL FANCY by cAPSULE
I like capsule because their music is so catchy. Though I like
this track, it isn't really one of my favorites because it's kind
of boring compared to songs like Tokyo Smiling and Music Controller.

5.WOKE FROM DREAMING by tHE dELGADOS
This is from 'The Light Before We Land' the OP single of Gunslinger
Girl. The coolness factor of the delgados has to be like 10 on a 10 point
scale.

6.ONE LAST CIGARETTE by eCHOSTREAM
For those of you who do not know, Echostream is a group of
two who met in college. The singer is Japanese and the beat machine
guy is Brittish. They make really smooth music and you should check
it out.

This isn't really a song. It's an interlude from the Kami no Inu album.

10RINNE MOKUSHIRUKU by kAGRRA,
Kagrra, has slowly become one of my favorites. I like most of
what I hear from them. It's classic with a slightly modern touch.
That's what makes them unique.

This is the ED of Welcome to the NHK! which is a completely
hilarious anime about a man who believes his misfortune is the result
of a national conspiracy.

This is the OP of the game/anime AIR, which I've never played/seen
so I don't have much to say about it. The song is pretty though.

I love this song because it is one of the few slow, smooth
songs by nightmare that don't suck entirely.

Don't ask me why I like this song. One day I was in kind of a

or something like that. Anyway, it was on the Angelus single (Inuyasha)

Bella Morte reminds me of Celldweller, only not as good. They
have potential though and I will be on the lookout for their newer
things.

Sometimes this group makes songs that sound like elevator music
and sometimes it comes off as cool house music. This is on the cool side.

Bjork is pretty intersting...but then I do have a penchant for
the unusual. Did anyone else find that one song on the Ghost in the
Shell OST 3 to be Bjork-ish?

This is the track that got me intersted in Corinne Bailey Rae
and then I bought her album and realized it was amazing. I would put
her in the smooth jazz/r&b-type genre.

This is my favorite song on the album at the moment.

6.SALLY'S SONG by fIONA aPPLE
Did you know Fiona Apple did this song for The Nightmare Before
Christmas soundtrack? It is a cover of the original which is sung by
the ragdoll character, Sally (Catherine O'Hara)

7.WHAT'S THIS? by fALL oUT bOY
Yet another cover of a Nightmare Before Christmas song. I know, I know,
you might be wondering whether or not Fall Out Boy could pull off this
song well. The answer is yes, they totally did. I like this version alot.

8.GIRLSHAPEDLOVEDRUG by gOMEZ
Cheesy title, I know. And heck, it's a cheesy song! But the singer
has a nice voice and the music is fun.
