i seldom PouPee now.

i realised the night scene is much more nicer! And why some PouPee have beach umbrella and some dont?

"some things are just not meant to be share; but some are"

I think it's a beautiful day today!

i dont seem to stop tearing even after watching its footage for XXth times. It's so touching and i supposed Dogs are humans BEST FRIENDS. They are always by their owners side be it happy or sad moments. They are the best companions, best confidant, most faithful & most loving ones.

But, just how much we understand dogs & their feelings? Are we always there for them? And how exactly do we treat them as - friends?

more & more
The amount of medicine that my mum pops into her mouth seemed to be increasing. And now, her eye is red swollen. Initially, i thought it was just merely sore-eye and so after 3 days i actually expected it to go away. Unfortunately, it didnt and mum ended up visiting the doctor (plus new additions of medicine again). When she was applying the eye cream, i almost had an heart attack cus mum squeeze it right into her eyeball and when i read the directions, it says "External Application". Called up the clinic and she said it was okie cus the cream will eventually go into her eye. Kinda weird isnt it?

I think its coming to the 3rd week? Mum's eye is still swollen and some people termed it as "Chicken Eye" which is a condition whereby the eye will continue to swell for a much longer period than a common sore-eye.

After trying out the samples from Fr3b, i decided my next beauty purchase shall be BIO ESSENCE Skin White Revitalizing Exfoliator w Pine Pollen!

I was supposed to help pick out some samples from
Fr3b for my sibs to try but blur me ended up taking the wrong items for my 2nd parcel!

Off for some refreshing & rejuvenating stuffs and i really need to get some book covers!

Sampling @ Fr3b
Sharing one little good thing

I forgotten how i got to know it, but i think the company is quite creative to come up with this!

If you're like me, someone who loves Watsons, someone who frequently use drugstore brands, someone who keep changing & changing different brands of facial / body products just to try out, you may want to sign up at this fantastic website! Fr3b allows free sampling and all you need to do is - Just pay the delivery fee. Simple & reasonable as that.

I signed up some weeks ago but never pick any products to sample cus some were old products which i have used before. But this week, i logged in and saw some Korean, Japanese & COVERMARK Moisture Veil products. Kinda surprised cus i didnt expect these!

And so for my very first time sampling, i decided to pick out 4 products to try, made the payment and saw the updates in payment & mailing out of items via my account page in Fr3b. It roughly took about 1.5 days and i received an email confirmation from Fr3b that they have mailed out my stuffs and should be receiving them soon (which is 2 days after i made the payment). Quite efficient i would say.

the fr3b )

No more trying out new products by buying their original big bottles & tubes.
No more wastage of money (at least to me who keeps buying).
No more space constraints in my "Beauty & Care Basket" due to unused / leftovers tubes & bottles of unsuitable products!

Try it if you spot items you thought of getting and sample it away!

Time & Humans
When you realise time (freedom) isnt on your side anymore, you will start to seize every single minute of the day, doing all sorts of things, plan a list of activities, a toilet-roll of to-do list and start getting outta house to spend more time with your loved ones. You know, you'll never do these, never ever felt that the time spent with so & so is only that much and now, you start panicking cus you know you will not be getting any much of these that you once take them for granted.

Yup, it all seems so familiar yet somehow, a joke. But that's human nature i supposed. You'll never realise you're missing out something until time is being taken away and you start to cherish every single thing. And complaints will never be coming outta your mouth or into your ears. You gladlfully do them all, or rather, do things you never once think of.

Was it human or time or greed or the tendency of taking things for granted?

The little one i hope, will merge and be back as a mature, confident, responsible individual.
Some say its a change for the better; i hope.
Minority say, its for the worst they wil become of.
But ultimately, they themselve know cus you cant lie / cheat youself.

I finally bought Gym in the Pocket from Green-Pasture using this month's Shape Magazine birthday coupon! Have been wanting to buy it months ago, but the actual price of it can actually get me a gym ball + body twister. But anyway, it's now in my hands!!!! Funniest thing was, 1 day after the purchase, i came to know (from my usual weekend window shopping in one of the supermarkets) that the birthday coupon in the magazine had an error printing; its supposed to be $5 off instead of $15! It's a difference of $10 that i "save" in extra!

There are free classes to attend with this purchase. The thing is... how on earth can i wake up so early during the weekends and go all the way to Botanic Gardens, reaching @ 8am? Hmm... im still deciding, if not to ECP on the evenings? Oh well...

cute toe-socks to wear )
I got myself 2 pairs of cute toe socks for my night beauty regime (hopefully). Having too dry heels & skin around my feet makes me feel uncomfortable especially when the skin rubs against my lower leg, i can feel the hardened & yucky skin. Going back to wearing socks to seal the moisture after each slather. Oh, i heard rubbing vicks on the back of your feet helps when you're down with a bad flu.

F(ood)log
i was told to do a food-log so as to assess what causes my persistent constipation & some woes that my stomach brings me. It was kinda easy cus i have always been taking pics of my mum's cooking (remember my project of keeping my mum's recipes?), but the thing is, it's probably gonna drive the reader nuts on what i randomly put into my mouth.

Just last night, i didnt have any dinner and munch on whatever i found in the kitchen. What goes in my stomach were a quarter of a whole watermelon, 2 bananas, 1 sweet potato (steamed), 1 orange & 2 tomatos. Then came supper (surprisingly), i shared the MacDonald - a McChick-O-Fillet burger, 1 apple pie & 1/2 hot fudge. I think i was starving the whole saturday!!!

*BburPpPp*

Here's the link (& its actually at the sidebar) of some pics i took of my mummy's healthy (some?) & delicious homecook food. i the soups that my mum made & the many delicious side dish that goes so well with the rice.

i made a big jug of honeylime juice during one of these sizzling hot summer days! It's so refreshing!

What a day.
First, i was awakened by the loud thunder at about 6am. Then, tossed & turned in bed and finally, dozed off to sleep at 7ish, but the alarm came on and i got up for preparations.

Second, i met a guy who looks & sounds EXTREMELY arrogant, irritating & "i-belittled-you" attitude. And i still need to hang in there to see his face for close to an hour.

Third, my favorite drink was OOS at the fastfood chain. Like huh? i didnt know drinks can be OOS!

Fourth, i happily got a book & forgot to check the pages. Edges are crappy.

Fifth? I got a call from an indian guy, asking for Mr. Balik & insisted my HP belonged to Mr. Balik by citing me the previous call he made to Mr. Balik with my number and its the exactly this HP number (which is M-I-N-E). What!? Means i steal his HP? It's so screwed! My HP always always always have strangers calling up and 100% are those i dont know them at all!!!!

im starting to hate my HP & the numbers. What for having this?

the cooling sunday

I was wakened up by the loud thunder this morning and realised its already 9+am. What a lovely, cooling morning. I love the feel of the air, but somehow, i felt gloomy all of sudden. My favourite rainy days somehow felt wrong now. But im glad my bout of flu was gone and my eyes are back to normal!

Anyway, i went for an appointment in the morning and then went for my virgin eyebrow threading. I was contemplating to go for BB's eyebrow shaping after reading CC & seeing some LJ-ers' nicely-shaped eyebrows. But, i had enough of shaving & plucking so i decided on threading! I went to the recommended one from my sis and man, it was kinda painful for the first few seconds and after which, i (who have a higher threshold of pain) felt nothing much. Quite a pleasant experience and im thinking of going for a whole face / upper lid hair threading to remove the tiny hairs. Hmmm... but for the time being. i need to go back several times to let her check my hair-growth & the arch. Mine was badly shaped in the past and now, im advised to use liquor / olive oil to speed the growth of eyebrow hairs on the spot (caused by my chicken pox days that left a scar nearing the mid of my eyebrow) that has gone "botak" for as long as i can remember.

Went to shop for some home-wear and shared a blueberry Andersen icecream which was kinda heavenly. Window-shopped abit and eyed several stuffs to buy. Strangely, they werent clothes. I hate shopping for clothes, but i thought WAREHOUSE's stuff were fabulous! Back home with tau huey for my family!

So many wants and so many buys....
....are they just therapy-needs or impulsive-buys?

"i wish my days are as bright, as cheery as my mummy's plant" - dont you think flowers can cheer one up? Just look at how beautiful & bright it is. And ironically, these were taken on the hot Saturday and has no link to this cooling Sunday.

A long, long time...
Yesterday, we checked out HK KimGary Restr at 3pm after window-shopping so that there wont be any crowd. But well, the restr was still crowded & very noisy.

Then, we bagged tibits from Daiso & Marks & Spencer!

And today, its KungFu Panda tonight!

Was it all coincidents?
Weeks ago, i received this in my inbox:
Mr. Juseleeno, born in 1960(reportedly still alive in 2008), is a Brazilian who has made many predictions, and MOST have come to pass, including Princess Diana's death by car accident (which is instigated by someone near her and will probably unfortunately be written off as a car accident), 911 and the 2004 Indonesian tsunami. He sees the future in his dreams, and has an average of 3 to 9 such predictions per day. When he wakes up, he will write them down, and send warnings to those concerned.

Future predictions:

2008, July: There will be an earthquake in Japan, which will cause a tsunami of 30 plus metres high to occur as well.

2008, 18th September: An earthquake with magnitude of approximately 9.1 will rock China, simultaneously causing a tsunami of more than 30 metres to occur, resulting in the deaths of more than 1 million people.

Although this huge earthquake will happen after the Olympics have ended, there will be a series of relatively smaller earthquakes occurring in China before the huge earthquake. The China government, which is more concerned with the success of the Olympics, will most likely neglect to employ appropriate cautionary measures, thus the high casualty rate. If the China government does not publicise the occurrence of these minor earthquakes and evacuate people, the number of deaths will be as predicted.

2008, 17th December: terrorist attack in America 2010: The temperatures in some countries of Africa could be as high as 58 degrees Celsius, and there will be a serious shortage of water.

2010, 15th June: The New York Stock Exchange market will fail, causing an international financial crisis.

2011: The research on the treatment of some cancers will be completed, but a new life-threatening virus will appear. People who are infected will die after only approx. 4 hours of coming into contact with the virus.

2013, 1st - 25th November: Research on treatment of cancers, except for brain tumors, will be completed. An earthquake, caused by volcanic eruptions, will happen on Bahama Island of the Canary Islands. A gigantic tsunami of roughly 150 metres will result. America mainlands, Brazil etc. will be affected, with the tsunami pushing into the land as far as 15 to 20 kilometres. Before the occurrence of this gigantic tsunami, the sea/ocean water levels will sink by about 6 metres, and large flocks of birds will start to migrate.

2014: A small planet that has been gradually closing in on Earth might eventually collide with Earth, and this collision, if come to pass, will affect the survival of humans as a whole.

2015: By the mid of November, the average temperature of Earth could be as high as 59 degrees Celsius. Many people will die from the overheat, and international confusion and terror ensues.

2016, April: A huge typhoon will invade China, causing massive damage. The 43rd USA president, George Walker Bush, will enter the hospital, and faces a life or death situation.

2026, July: A super earthquake will occur in Sans Francisco, and it will be named "The Big One". Huge damage to surrounding areas. Many volcanoes will re-activate, and the height of resulting tsunami will be more than 150 metres.

Mr. Juseleeno made known his predictions in hopes that people will take heed of his warnings, so that these disasters may be avoided. He hopes there will be a major change in the thinking of people's mindsets in the time period 2007 - 2008. One factor will be the environmental issue of global warming, which is more serious than what some meteorologists assume.

And recently, there's Japan quake. Though the dates are not as accurate, but isnt it freaky? It did happen anyway! With so many natural disasters happening around, it serves to remind us to love & cherish whatever & whoever we have now. Instead of fearing you may lose these things now or hating your life now, look at how great it is now to own these - whether or not you're satisfied with, happy with, troubled with (ya, that includes your figure, your salary, your partners, your life & your everything!)! If you're bogged down by the biggest problems in work, in relationships, in life, think again. Are these problems that HUGE & BIG & NASTY as those deaths & damages (emotionally & physically) created by these natural disaster?

Learn to embrace these little problems.

Using these natural disasters as an excuse & reasons to shrink away from life's responsibilities, for the very wrong reasons on else matters & such are really a cowardy act. It's totally lame. Get a better reason. I mean, you might as well hope being "on elsewhere" cus everyday, there's invisible responsibilities - including being a family member, being a human, being someone on earth! If you're scared, you are. If you're a selfish being, you just are. Face it.

Live like a human, dont insult yourself by being such a coward.

This is great to inspire!

Parks, one by one.

I have got a bicycle! Initially i was quite worried about having it cus my dad often toyed the idea of cycling to & fro work and it worries me alot. My dad doesnt have the perfect vision and one of his eyes, almost cant see anything much. The route to & fro work is always so chaotic & busy and its gonna be really dangerous for dad to do it. Furthermore, by the time dad ends work, its already very dark and it will worsen the vision! I objected to the plan. And luckily, dad understands. The constant worry for someone so dear to you is a hell lot cruel thing & im glad dad knows we care.

Now, i planned to accompany dad during weekends if possible to the park and so to have a great time utilising the wheels. And I just hate it that i had to push the bicycle / risk having the wheels on top of some strangers when i ride across the roads to get to the pedestrian-walk on the opposite and bump straight into some poor chaps. Roads, roads & roads with never-ending fast-moving vehicles makes my journey to the park a real chore.

During the weekends,

Cheer-phine-up things!
Mum has been urging me to drink this for the longest time. It was said to be good for eyes. With my yo-yo mood & weary eyes, i guess this & the whatever facial products & eyecreams aint gonne help much.

Cute & sweet tibits from sis for the occasional bites at late night. The caramel corns has got to be the nicest one i ever tried!

Mum's appetite was exactly opposite of mine. Fabulously great and she pestered me to whip up pasta for her. It's been such a long time i cook pasta at home and it taste fab. Lotsa onions & garlics and these spices are something that we love and can survive on if theres no other ingredients to throw in!

It's nice to have colleagues who regularly fly over to Thailand so that i can have my Naraya fixs. Now, an addition of the bigger bag and a pink one. The third one is actually brown, but due to prolong usage & washing, it has become of this colour and definitely, a colour that i love! I dont know why! Maybe i should start throwing the big bag and wash till i get the "new" colour.

Shisamo handroll. I have this sudden craving for shisamos. And this one from Bugis isnt that nice. I still prefer the one i bought @ Takashimaya like 2 months ago; fresh & decent (but sadly, i havent been lucky to see it anymore nowadays). I bought them home for mum & sis cus they love shisamo too!

Found a way of "making" a temporary bookmark. Use your necklace!

Mum's rule; Hang the wok high up on saturday dinner =(

The clear coat i have from several brands are unable to do a good job. So i got these since they are the cheapest!

Did some shopping at Watsons and got all the necessities. The bag almost gave way cus the items were just too heavy to bear that 5 hours window-shop! There's just too many things in Watsons that i couldnt say "no" at all! This little travel-size shampoo smells so delicious and i had to try it!

A hilarious, tipsy yet useful read. I browsed it quite some time ago in Kinokuniya and decided to own it now. I think im quite anal about the conditions of my books. There werent any decent clean, neat ones at Kino, and i had to walk all the way to PS's TIMES bookshop to get hold of this one that s wrapped up. Now, im thinking of buying bookcovers.

Sometime last week, i was out with mum to the temple. I have been craving for Cartel's waffle for the longest time and decided that i should go this time round. Strange as it was, i was happily sinking my teeth in this sweet indulgence and after the 4th bite, i felt so sick of it & really nauseated. The aftermath was disaster. Guess im just not suitable in eating sweet stuffs - super low tolerance for sweets. But, it was really heavenly for the start!

Mini partying once in a while on a saturday dinner. Sis had to make do with fastfood to complete her day and decided on a MacDonald mini feast with us, while i indulged in my salmon belly sushi. Fresh & yummilious. The clam chowder is my all-time favourite sides from LJS!

Woke up late on Sunday and didnt manage to do a complete breakfast for my sis & myself which i promised the night before. Blamed the late movie!!! Anyway, i quickly whipped up scrambled eggs for my sis before she went off. And im still in time for my cartoons! Fwah! My sis commented it tasted exactly or rather, better than MacDonald's!!! Mine was fluffy & a tad runny on the mid-in and that makes it moist and tasty.

After so long, i managed to get back part of my appetite. It's just not fair to myself. I need to, i have to and i want to be happy & smiley again.

*

Smile, and be happy soon!

Filled with me in the greens
Backdated: It was a lovely walk in the greens. I think i have yet to fully cover all paths, but im glad i have found a spot & named it as "my favourite spot". It's a little corner with adequate shade & sunlight, with just a bench. Time pass really fast while the book accompanied me and the sound of the flowing waters gushing about. Its such a therapy thing to be in the greens on some lovely cold days. Have you found yours?

As i was surfing around the net yesterday, my secondary school classmates messaged me via MSN. How time flies and we only had career, jobs, future, money and plans to talk about only. Where's the innocence part gone to?

Anyway, Delvin seemed to have very vague memories about our classmates and Liming had to show me Ronald MacDonald in his thongs! The Ronald MacDonald definitely looked freaky in black&white, like that of the God of Death in Death Note. Haa!

I had to rant about this: Argh.
