This sucks. Maplestory isn't working on either of my computers. I start school in like a week. Harry Potter's been moved to 2009 and my friend writes graphic Twilight fanfiction. @__@

Tornado warning didn't amount to anything. I hid in my basement until like 8:45 when my mom was like, "You idiot, get out before you have an allergy attack. >_>" My living room also leaks from the ceiling fan. o.o Yup weird. I stuck a Post-It over the switch so that no one (my mom especially) would accidentally turn it on and burn the house down. Then my mom tells me I'm weird and that I "have an affinity for water" or something and that our house will never burn down because of that or something. o.O Is that why I swim slow?

Anyway, I told my friends that I wasn't going to go to Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 with them because they're planning on driving like an hour to a theater to go see it at like 7 tonight. It's not playing at the two theaters near here and they SO want to see it that they're going to drive an hour. o.o Why can't they just wait like 4 months for it to come out on DVD? o_o;;

The school people called me like 2 days ago and asked me if I'd scare answer questions for incoming freshmen and new teachers and stuff on August 20th. I said yes, of course (because I can put it on my MIT app.. Muwahahaha). None of my friends are doing it which makes me wonder if I'm going to be the only non-faculty person there.. o.o

I also hit level 45 on my Page yesterday (yay!) so, only.. 25 more levels until White Knight @__@; My little archer is at level 12 (XD) and I've started another character that will, hopefully, be a pirate soon.

Hihi. So, MIT did put their app up. Essay A is basically the same as my first paper of English last year.

My real reason for writing this is because I'm hiding in my basement (with my laptop and (most T__T) stuffed animals and iPod). The Chicago area is under a huge severe thunderstorm/tornado warning including my town. Apparently, a tornado has been spotted pretty close to here. So, you know, if you don't hear from me for a while, don't freak out. I'll update Facebook, blahblah.

On another note, senior portrait went well. Until, you know, friends showed up, were like, "OMG. Where have you been? We haven't hung out with you!!!112132onetwothreefive!" Thankfully, it was raining and I told them I had to go before it got worse. Then, they were all, "OMG. BREAKING DAWN IS COMING OUT!!1!!?!? IT'S GONNA BE SOOO AWESUM!!" o.o Um, yeah, I guess. You have to look past the bad writing and the bad messages (telling 12-year-old girls that deferring college to get pregnant/married at 18 is not good), I guess it's a good book. Oh. Forgot the scary pedophile image (True love = newborn? O.o;;;;). No offense to any of you Twilight lovers, I'm just not a fan. :/

Anyway, while, I was talking to them, I kinda felt like I'd missed something. It was odd. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be sad or not, but I don't think I am. o_O;

Yeah. Sorry I wasn't around for like a month or more.. Just.. Um.. Stuff came up. Like 8 hours of precalc per day (which is not fun). Plus, my dad decided that he should take away my laptop while I'm doing precalc so that I can rot in the boredom of vectors and sine, cosine, and tangent (and their evil twins). But, thankfully, I get like 2 hours of freedom (not counting hours after 5:30 which are devoted to annoying my mom and Pokemon Diamond and MapleStory and one very happy hour known as Sesame Street. Does not apply to those in Alaska or Hawaii or U.S. owned territories) which could not be spent with my laptop due to sweltering heat. x__X And also because I couldn't steal WiFi from anyone. My mom brought home about 20 feet of cable yesterday and I routed it through the house to my room so that my laptop can enjoy air conditioning.

I shouldn't blame it ALL on precalc. Blame should go to Pokemon Diamond and MapleStory as well.. I configured my router yesterday so that I could go on WiFi and I cheated a kid out of a Munchlax (for a level 36 Skorupi-- which lived in the day care center since I caught it) and someone else out of a Gible and a Weavile (for a Chansey and a Uxie neither of which was even trained; the Chansey came with a Lucky Egg, too but, I took it before I traded it). Really, I'm quite nice. Gible is now a Gabite (and hopefully a Garchomp very soon). Plus the Weavile came with Pokerus which is sort of awesome, yet scary--last time I got it (on Crystal version), it sort of morphed almost all of my Pokemon (except for my two Hall of Fame teams)..

My grandma (who is insane) went to live with my uncle like two weeks ago which means MORE SLEEP FOR MEE...~

Anyhoo, I got my AP grades back about 10 minutes ago. 5 on AP American (I don't think the reader of my essays knew what the AAA was either...) and 4 on AP Comp Sci (Considering that I didn't know how to do any of the short answers, I'm pretty happy..).

Anyhoo.. I have to go yell at my dean tomorrow because she, pretty much, told me that I shouldn't skip a year (or two..) in math (even though I placed 1st at regionals and 3rd at conference at math team..?), even though I'm planning to take one of the two classes I'm attempting to skip (AP Calculus BC) over the summer at Northwestern.. o_o; And I'm being forced to attend some odd "World Language Day" thing at my school tomorrow. o_o; I mean, my French teacher was all, "YOU MUST ATTEND BECAUSE YOU WILL BE GRADED ON IT." Hey mates. Quick post before I go to bed (since I got 4 hours of sleep last night)..

Had a math meet yesterday. I placed 11th (which is really good) out of like 40 sophomores and the 8-person freshman-sophomore team got 2nd (and we only had 6 people) o_O

And I got my permit. :D Yay. I need to go study for like 3 tests tomorrow.

No school today. WHOO.

Heeeeyyy.. Is it possible to marry a piano? 'Cause I seriously found the BEST PIANO. EVER. I went to that piano competition and there was this UBER huge Steinway concert grand <3 Now, if only I had a big house and a couple hundred grand lying around.. I messed up on my Chopin waltz (that I learned in like a week) but, I totally PWNED my Liszt :D And plus, one of the judges was REALLY cute. *cough*

Well, I have finals this week.. Or should I say HAD..? Mostly easy. I just hope I didn't make any stupid mistakes. So, my parents had initiated this whole 'LET'S STUDY ALL THE TIME' thing. And really, I didn't need it. So, I left Pandora up and plugged in my headphones. :D Yay for The Fray. (OMG. I rhymed. *gasp* ...Sorry. That would be the cookie and coke I had for lunch..)

Um.. Anyhow.. My grandma's been going nuts lately. She hurt her leg (somehow-- I think she's making it up because she's done this before) and has been driving my parents INSANE for the last week. So, my dad took her to the hospital (and therefore, my lunch consisted of SunChips and a cookie and a can of Coke and an apple).. That would be pretty much the reason I have been living out of my room for the last week. Oh, and did I mention she's 'deaf'? (again I think she's just trying to annoy the crap out of my parents 'cause she's just fine when my uncle is over..) so, can we guess who has been woken up at 4:30 every day by her parents yelling at her grandma?

Yes. ME. x_O So, um.. I think my parents are like crossing their fingers going, "Can you just die already? Please?" Which is better than when she was living upstairs in the other room and she'd wake up and start swearing at my parents. And lately, it's been at me too so, I'm quite happy since I'm at home now and FINALLY I have silence. But, really, I'm more worried about my parents than I am about her. But also.. I've gotten a lot more independence lately. Like, right now, I'm home ALONE for the first time in, like, ever. And they're not breathing down my neck about everything.. Which is cool. And also, I start Driver's Ed tomorrow. So, um, I suggest all of you stay in your homes. Because the streets will no longer be safe. xD;

I've gotten back into MapleStory too.. Currently I'm a level 12 Swordsman, but considering I started this character this morning, I think I'm doing pretty well xD;

Um.. Yeah. So, there went most of my time. X_o 24 is on tonight (and Jack BIT a guy. xD; Talk about vampyric...) and so is Heroes but, I can watch Heroes online...

Baten Kaitos Origins isn't as good as I thought it would be.. It's a lot more confusing (I actually had to read the instruction manual o_o).. The storyline is awesome and the new younger Giacomo has shown me that reddish-pink is an AWESOME color when it's combined with black and weapons. o_o; But, the rest, is a bit weird. The game continuously refers to me as a 'he' while the first game had a gender option. x_x;

We made candy in chemistry on Friday. It tasted like sugar plus sugar times sugar to the power of sugar. It was cool. xD I brought some of it home. I'll take a picture of it (hopefully).

Um.. Anyway.. I went to see Eragon (of course) last week. I thought it would be HORRIBLE but, it wasn't horrible. It was bad but, not terrible. The bat-thing at the end SCREAMED Nazgul but, it was (apparently) a Lethrblaka o_o; My mom liked enough that she actually stole my Eragon book and is now reading it (and she told me it sucked <.< Whatever..) Speaking of movies, on Friday, in English, I saw A Christmas Story for the first time. A bit cheesy but, good nonetheless..

Oh and Math Team is now, somehow, first in the division. o_o; I have no idea how.. I only got 3/5 on the test (so did 3 of the other four people on the team-- the last person got a 0 xD;; Eek.)

I don't think I'd ever been so freaked out in my life. Seriously.. This is like the FIRST thing you learn in 7th grade algebra and if you forget that stuff, mate, you're eternally screwed math-wise.

My math teacher was bouncing off the walls for like 2 weeks. oO; We had a party in math team on Tuesday and that scary lady (the one who insisted that the lowest multiple of 3 and 5 was 60. Remember her?) showed up and attempted to 'help' us with math. But, of course, Ben (remember him from like, 2 years ago? He's in my English class now and I help him with his math homework.. And yet he's on math team...?) was like, "NO. MATH BAD. NO MATH TODAY. PIZZA GOOD. RAWR." So, I had like 4 mini-slices of pizza and a conversation with Ben and Shelley regarding the supposed gender of the scary lady (*cough* What?).

Anyway.. I got that book about Brightvale from the AC today and, it has now disappeared from my inventory even though I did NOT get any random events.. x_o; The Gobbler or whatever it's called looks squishy cute! :D I actually went "OMG CUTE TURKEEEEYYY!!" out loud this morning.

Yeah so.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY PUFF. I'll try to reply the RP today, hopefully (if my dad doesn't force me to do homework again... Argh.).

I'm going to this random piano competition in January and I'm supposed to play two pieces under 10 minutes and Liszt plus Beethoven is, like, 11 minutes. Eek. I mean, I -can- cut down the Pathetique to 5 minutes (Just 'cause I'm like that.. And I skip the repeat) but, I feel like I'm cutting it way too close though- especially after what happened last time I was in a competition with a time limit. So, I'm trying to start Prokofiev's Toccata without telling my teacher since he was like, "Liszt is hard enough." and I'm pretty much done with it and I have like 5 billion holidays coming up.. So, yeah..

Erm. My cousin (who's 5) is coming from Virginia (or New Jersey or wherever he lives now) and his little brother (who's like 1, EEEK) is too. So, I have to watch them to make sure that they don't break/eat my Gamecube or my DS (or my piano, for that matter). So, erm.. Don't expect seeing me around until July 5 (Or this Saturday because my mum's planning to take them somewhere while I'm watching England v. Portugal and Brazil v. France (Possibly so that they don't get addicted to soccer as well..)

Sui got 3rd place at Geneva (again). But, this time, the other two kids played Moonlight Sonata and (Since I didn't know you could play two pieces... I would have finished my Liszt T___T) a combination of Beethoven/Liszt (and he screwed up on the Liszt which is possibly the most amazing piece I've ever heard.. I wanted to sock him and bludgeon him with my shoe xD). But, this one girl played Chopin and pretended to show emotion. Thing is, she looked like she either wanted to throw up (You know, she had that gagging face) or she was having a seizure. Anyhoo, Sui beat her and a kid who played the same piece (he kept staring at me for some reason...). And this one Chinese girl played Variations on TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR (Seriously, Mozart must have been drunk when he wrote that thing..), which is a 10 minute piece. She played for 20 minutes (which is why I'm contemplating finishing Rhapsody in Blue and playing that xD; *evil cackle*) and she screwed up in like 40 places. Warhar.
