Haircut!

I got a haircut today. I am pretty pleased with the results.

That's right, just in time for the coming cold, I now have about an eighth of an inch of hair! So far I have only been outside twice since the cut, but it has been pretty cold. Other than that, though, I am really happy with it. I can't seem to stop rubbing my hands over my fuzzy, fuzzy head!

I thought I had more to say about this, but I can't seem to think of it and my mom is waiting for me to post so she can see. But if I think of anything to say besides comments on how fuzzy I am, I will post again.

Also, Raph gave me a webcam because he is wonderful! So everybody be on the lookout for webcam picture posts once I really get the hang of it. Sweet!

No, I'm kidding. As you can see from the Night of the Living Bangs above, that is definitely the case. As for buzzing, I have to say it feels pretty awesome!

Well, it takes a little less bravery when your boyfriend, your mom and you dad all tell you to GO FOR IT, as mine did. Of course, all the other people I mentioned it to thought I was mad, but no worries. And thank you!

Heh, yeah. The funny part is, this is actually my second choice in many ways, after having hair that long again. But since I don't have nearly enough patience to wait six years for that, I figured this would be fun instead.

Fair enough. Though I bet you'd like it better if you saw it in person--I never feel like photos do a good job of capturing the way I look. Maybe we'll find out over Thanksgiving?

And, thank you! I'm really glad I did it--it's fun and exciting as a change, and yes, SO easy. I took my first hairless shower today and my hair was basically dry as soon as I got out!

Wow. I don't really know you, but I was sent here from Raph's journal, and I feel compelled to tell you that this haircut is utterly fantastic. I actually like it a lot better than the "before" picture...not that there was anything wrong with your hair before...but there's just something so right about your hair (or lack thereof) now! I don't really understand how shaved heads grow out, but damn, I just think it's so cool. Um, yeah, that's it.
