Rating: PG-13/Rish. I do love my borderlines.
Notes: As I'm sure many of you know from having read Seven Deadly Signs You're Going to Fail, I'm of the opinion that, like any employee at a big corporation or organization, Aziraphale and Crowley are both subject to fairly regular performance interviews. This story isn't explicitly related to the former, but it's definitely meant to be read in the same spirit. Also, this story is either an Art History student's fondest dream or worst nightmare. I can't decide which, and if it should turn out to be the latter, I offer humblest apologies to the art students in my readership.
Summary: Crowley's up for review, and his major failing is far more specific than he'd like. Even worse, Dagon's slapping down an even more specific ultimatum…

(Your Assignment, Should You Choose to Accept It)

 I'm actually looking for two stories.  The first is called 'Instruments of Faith and Sex and Love' or 'Instruments of Faith and Love and God' or something like that.  It's a stand alone fic where Crowley and Aziraphale have sex and not much more happens but it's so well written and beautiful - it has a lot more to it.  The only detail I really remember is Zira making a joke about 'Demon Lovers Anonymous' tokens.  Does anyone have a link?!?!?!

The second fic is a longer more epic story - possible in three parts.  All I really rememeber about it is that Crowley has been recalled to Hell (being punished?) and Aziraphale is in Heaven.  He argues with Metatron?  Gabriel?  Michael?  And confesses to being in love with Crowley.  Despite the fact that he thinks he'll fall for it.  In fact that might be why he's there?  He's feeling guilty and depressed?  Heaven is shocked but allows him to retrieve his demon (or returns him?) and there is a touching reunion scene at the bookshop at the end.  My memory of this one is quite hazy but again it was very well written and I remember reading it over and over and feeling really emotional every time.  It's not the Earthly Possessions trilogy though that is good too - it's similarly epic though.

Hey St. James! This is... rather awkward because I have been a longtime stalker of this community (think in terms of months, mebbe years [not consistantly, just whenever the A/C bug bites] and you'll have about a good idea). So while I recognize most of you by your work and your usernames, I am.... a complete stranger to yall. Hmm, yes, awkward was definitely a good word choice.

But then the other day I had a little drabble come crawling (no pun intended) into my mind, and I was like Hey.... Maybe I'll join St. James and put it up...

Happy Valentine's Day! I come bearing something I wrote last year but never posted. For those of you who don't know James Hogg, the book is set in early 18th century Scotland and is a prime example of the convoluted writing style of early paranormal/murder mystery novels.

It's not really romantic so much as romance period, but I figured that was close enough! Also a little bit of A/C fluff if you look for the subtext.

Notes: This story has actually been kicking around in various incarnations for almost a year, but it never seemed to suit the purpose for which it was originally intended - so, as a result, it never got posted. After the most recent overhaul, however, I can see that it'll find a good home with Leyna, who bid very generously indeed for a new piece of A/C that included some smut, angst, and illumunation (or perhaps, given the circumstances, an initial lack thereof). This is the first of three pieces of fiction (in three different fandoms) that were won in the auctions I offered. Stay tuned for the others, which should appear over the next two weeks!
Summary: Boredom alone can't account for this kind of mutual gamble.

(What struck Crowley most about the conversation was the sheer improbability of it.)
