For those of you who don't know how to use p2p networks very well, here is an interesting way to find and download music for free.

It has a pretty good success rate, and it's free and WAY easier than any p2p program.

It certainly is not awesome, but it's extremely easy.

So we got our yearbooks today. I went home and flipped through my copy.

Now I'm really nostalgic and sort of sad. Graduation is really bittersweet. I'm more tired of school than anything, and I can't stand to be there any longer. I'm also so ready to be independent and living away from home. At the same time, I don't want to lose contact with all these people I have spent the last 4 years with. I don't want to leave Newsome High School, the place I was originally so nervous to enter, which I now consider extremely familiar.

I'm really sad in a way, but I guess the only way to make it better is to make this summer count with my friends at Newsome. I plan on really, really having a good time this summer.

I'll still be sad, but in a good way I guess.

AP Exam Predictions, 2008 [May. 12th, 2008|10:43 pm]
Here is the final segment in my annual AP exam grade predictions:

AP Calculus BC - 3
AP Calculus AB subscore - 4
AP English Literature - 4
AP Physics C: Mechanics - 3
AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism - 2

Meh. Considering that Calculus and Physics were independent studies, I think I did alright.

We'll see!

It's 2:50 AM and I just got home from an intense day. All day at Busch Gardens with Lauren, then all night at Armada Games for Friday Night Magic. It was my first standard constructed tournament in like 3 years, and I got into the top 4 and we all split the prize. Paid $5 to get in and walked out with $28.75 and a foil promo card! Also got to see Keith M, Mike Brady, and the rest of the old BSCW crew.

Great day.

SPRING BREAK! :-D

I felt that little tickle in my throat last night, like I was on my way to becoming sick, and I was like "hell no," so I slept for nearly 12 hours and took 2 g of vitamin C and BAM, it's gone. It's amazing how well that works.

Lately, all I want to do all the time, 24 hours per day, is photography. It's weird because it's been like this for 6-12 months, and I get crazes for hobbies like this, but never for this long. The closest obsession to this one was with Magic: The Gathering, but I think it wasn't the same.

Like seriously, it's ALL I want to do.

I would really like to start traveling some more so I can stop being so bored with the scenery around me that I can't take any more good photos.

So Lauren and I decided not to move in together at college. I (we?) really think I'd be missing out on a lot of college-type fun, living with a male roommate, "batchelor life," etc, and plus, I have the rest of my life to life with a female, Lauren or otherwise.

I'm almost certainly going to move in with my cousin Brandon in a nice, big, 2-level townhome with a cheap rent. His girlfriend MAY move in with us sometime during the term, but I personally prefer the idea of it just being he and I. You know. Male bonding sort of thing. Dungeons and Dragons, Magic: The Gathering, and swimming in the pool (did I mention there's a pool?) late at night.

Lauren will live with my very close friend Brittany Dean (aka Bacon) for super cheap rent as well.

Anyway, I'm excited.

You know it seems the more we talk about it,
It only makes it worse to live without it.

Interesting [Feb. 25th, 2008|07:15 pm]
"Then God said, 'I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground -- everything that has the breath of life in it -- I give every plant for food.' And it was so."

Genesis 1:29-30

I got rejected by UF.

I have a proposed (seriously messed up) reason why and some research which supports my claim, and I plan on looking into it further, but no matter what, when it boils down to it, I (very probably) don't get to go to UF. If you're interested in my theory, contact me and I'll tell you about it.

Anyhow, I'm really bummed because I feel like when I tell people that I got rejected, including you all, they will think I'm less intelligent than they used to think I was.

It's really a bummer, because, I think I'm really smart.

The Weakerthans are coming to Orlando and Gainesville just in time for me to still not be 18 yet. Where are they playing? 18+ venues!

I hate age restrictions.

I've been waiting for The Weakerthans to come to FL for 3 years.
