lets see... bedroom taped off, bathroom has new shower curtain (just a clear liner) because old liner was nasty, I put up my old hot/cold shower hooks, which are awesome! I am going to craigslist the old showercurtain/hooks because they are still in good condition. I am thinking of putting a border up in the bathroom and countryfying it, I have some border I already have. I also bought some stars that go on the wall recently too so that would look good in there! I need to take down these round mirrors that are on the wall I have no idea why they put ROUND mirrors in weird places but I can only think they were trying to mimic portholes of a ship because it was done in like a sailing/boat theme by the prev people.

When M gets here he and N goes down for a nap he is going to help me paint that room woo hoo!! I am super duper excited!!

I think I am going to do a seaside theme in there so now I have to find the PERFECT bedding!! Anyone have any ideas?

I am super duper excited, I am re-doing Nathaniels room, actually it will be Nathaniel and Kenzies room soon! woo hoo! Anyways the room is switched to a different room now (that can handle two twin beds)

I have paint for the walls, and I think i'm painting this weekend with the help of M

Also he is getting a new bed frame headboard/footboard It will look like the picture below - his uncle "dada" is making it for him!!!


It will not be as tall as the photo (that one is 70 inches) his will be 48 inches tall, and adding a 32 inch footboard that is the same design. (reminder to me to order a Footboard Bracket Kit)

I am going to give it an aged crackle finish with this technique - the undercoat will be a dark blue like bluejean color - then the crackle, then a cream/white, and then you add a watered down acrylic stain on top and rub it all off (so it just goes into cracks) then you can put a top coat on or not, since the bed is for Nathaniel I am going to give it a couple top coats!

I am so excited!!!

but I don't own this house so I don't want to put too much money into it!!!

It really annoys me when people bully my friends

So I want to build Nathaniel a headboard and possibly footboard as well that looks like

I don't want mine that tall (their measurements are 42.5 x 2.5 x 70" h), so I figure here is what I want my measurements to be
42" W
45" L (or 50")

I am thinking just by looking at it that it would not be difficult, 2x4's or even 2x6's might look better for border, then some 1x various lengths for the inside. I guess I could wood glue it then nail it with 1 1/2 inch nails?

What is a good way to make the "frame" like.. how do I attach the frame together I guess, I havn't figured that part out yet ;)

Def have to sand and beat the wood to make it weathered then white wash it, maybe I will crackle it too.

Now how should I attach it to the frame? bolts? I will have to get metal frames for the beds, right now I have wood frames and I don't have the patience to sand down those and paint them!

Pasta Salad

Spiral Noodles
Italian Dressing
Green Pepper - diced
Tomatoes - grape tomatoes halved
Onion (red) diced
black olives (sliced)
Pepperoni (diced up)
Parm Cheese

cook and drain pasta

add veggies & pepperoni

add dressing to coat

add 1/2 parm cheese

refridgerate for 2 hrs min.



Before serving add remainder of dressing and parm cheese.
