Nike Women's Marathon!
I completed all 26.2 miles of the Nike Women's Marathon on Sunday! It was an amazing event, and crossing the finish line was a greater experience than my last day of radiation treatments.

Marathon update
As many of you know, I'm training hard for the Nike Women's Marathon on Sunday, October 21. My original intent was to run the half marathon (13.1 miles) to celebrate and honor 13 Hodgkin's Disease-free years. [Hodgkin's Disease is a lymphoma--a cancer of the lymph node system.] But then I found out how much fun running is, and decided to run the whole course!

I'm training by myself, so I'm not raising any money for a charity running organization. However, this specific marathon raises money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and I would like to make a contribution.

Since I don't have to meet a minimium, please feel free to donate (if at all!) whatever you think is appropriate.

Thanks!
Stephanie
