WE GOT IT!!  
FREE TIVO!!

Apparently some people had been waiting since 4:30am (even though the website said "No lining up until 9am"). [info]ldyicefire got there a little before 9:00 and was still #301.

I'll let her post about her adventures, but she said that rumor says that TiVo is going to do this until they run out of boxes, so there might still be time if you want one! Might be a 5-6 hour wait in line, and the boxes only cost around $100 anyway, so you have to decide what your time is worth to you. In our case, it was worth the 2 hour wait.

I didn't make it into the picture because I was busy knocking computer speakers off of the table and pulling on wires (see how the camera is tilted?). Samantha was perched on the banister, glaring at me.

That is really cool, I wonder if they are coming out with a new and improved version soon or something?

It is only the basic 40 hour one so it possible their is a new one coming.

I tried to attend, but didn't arrive untill 11:30am.

The parking and line were both crazy.

I went to Great America to park and was told there were over 1500 people in line.

So I just dropped off my toy donation and came home.
