FMA is so darn inspiring....ugh. i want to be a voice actress sooooooooooo bad....i can barely stand it anymore. i think it's time i finally put myself out there and record a demo so i can at least attempt to get myself even semi-started somewhere. i'd be happy with pro bono work, but i hope to make it to funimation one day, or somewhere like it :)

who knows...we'll see what happens!!! i'm so pumped for the start of school...20 credits this semester!!! i'm going to die....but that's okay. no worries, i'm a tough girl! i can handle it!!! :)

hey everybody!!!

how is the summer going for everyone? mine is going splendidly. i really feel like i'm renewing myself this summer...gaining new perspectives on me and how i can better myself as a person. i've changed so much over the course of this last year of college, and i'm really looking forward to the future now. i'm pumped for sophomore year of college (which is a very good sign haha), and i'm ready to become the person that i know i can be. i'm really focusing on changing or re-evaluating my "less than graceful" qualities, and instead of trying to get rid of them, i'm trying to make them more "public-friendly". i feel really confident in myself nowadays, and i'm positive that the image that i have for myself will slowly begin to become a reality for me over the next few weeks. i'm so excited.

enough about me...how are all of you? did any of you see the new harry potter movie, and if so, what did you think? i'm pretty sure that that movie is my favorite of the whole series. david yates did such a phenomenal job at directing the movie. it was the most heartracing, emotional, fascinating, and exciting movie of them all, THAT'S for sure. :) daniel radcliffe is really starting to transform into a wonderful young actor. i really admire his courage to go beyond what he knows to create such a wonderful character out of harry. i really felt that this movie was the pivotal movie for him in regards to change, and i can't wait to see the next one to see what he does next. because of his performance, as well as rupert grint, whom i love to death, emma watson's performance, which has grown leaps and bounds over the years, and my friend sasha *she is a total book fanatic*, i've decided to finally put my pride aside, and finally read all of the books *minus the seventh, o'course :) haha*. i'm so excited :)

well, anywho, let me know what you think, and let me know what is new in your lives...i feel like it's been ages since i've spoken to any of you!!!! i hope all is well, and i'll be updating more often, for sure. :) hope to hear from you all very, very soon! :) love you guys!

here's the scoop:

1) i'm done with my exams
2) i'm done with my first year of college (still somewhat alive haha)
3) i'm SO happy that i saw Pirates 3 at 8:00 on the night before opening day
4) i'm glad that my friends are all coming back home or are home now (i miss you, gina!!!)
5) work is getting better
6) i have had a steady bf for 2 months now *even though we are taking somewhat of a "break" due to our busy schedules at the moment, don't worry, it's mutual, and for now, it is the best for the both of us, we came to an amiable agreement*
7) i'm still totally in love with all of my celeb hubbies, and i've added on about....er.....59 more...i'm sick, i swear.....
8) so far this year, i've seen Justin Timberlake and FOB in concert, and this summer, i am going to be seeing Panic! at Summerfest, and i haven't been to any concerts over the last 7 years before that
9) i saw Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood's two-man comedy show for a second time this year early in feb.
10) i'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO stoked to see the premiere of Harry Potter 3 in July, as well as Hairspray!!!!
11) i'm really growing as an emotional and rational person, and i think i can honestly say that i'm really beginning to like myself more now than i have in the past
12) we got a new dog, her name is Belle, and she is a Japanese Chin *TOO cute*
13) for the first time in my life, i have never been so happy for so long, and i feel like it's only going to get even better from here on out

voice acting and life

With each fleeting day that passes, I have come to realize that not only do I want to be a professional choir conductor and teacher someday, but also, I'd love to do voice acting. It is something that I have been passionate about for years, but never considered for an actual career. I really think it may or may not be a calling for me. I love doing impressions, and I've been workign every day to expand my range as a vocal actor and speaker, as well as becoming a better singer and overall performer. I want to succeed in my life. I want to be passionate about everything I do in my lifetime. I want to take life by the horns and tell it exactly what I want to see happen in my life, and then do something about it. It's really that simple.

College seems to be changing my perspective on life everyday. I learn something new every single day of my life now, and I'm changing into the person I truly want to be. It's a struggle sometimes, sure, by for all the bad times, there are 10 times as many good times to overpower the negative ones. I love life right now. I really feel free and actually in control. I like what I like, I say what I say, I do what I WANT to do. I love every minute of it.

I'm really into Japan right now, everything about it, from it's music (Jpop), to its culture, to it's overall presence in the world. It's just such a beautiful country, and hopefully one day, I'll save up enough money to fly over there to witness the sheer loveliness for myself. :D

I love my friends, old and new. They really know how to take good care of me, and they truly understand what it means to be a "good" friend. They always are there to cheer me up on a rough day, to make me smile no matter what my emotions are, they make me laugh until my sides split, they are the shoulders I can cry freely on, without feeling guilty or uncomfortable. They just overall make my life complete, and I love feeling like the hole in my heart from the past has finally sealed so that I am able to be as happy as I've always wanted to be. Thank you, everyone, you know who you are. :)

Good news and bad news, kids, as always:

VERY Good news: I was one of the first people in the U.S. to see the new movie Superman Returns. HOLY CRAP was it phenomenal. I took one look at Brandon Routh and thought to myself, "Ohhhhhhh.......my ovaries!!!!!! They BURN!!!!!!!!" He is SO flipping gorgeous. I mean, if there was one man who dominates the hotness of Hercules from the Disney cartoon version, it would DEFINITELY be Brandon Routh by a long shot. He is the absolute PERFECT Superman figure. Why, you ask? Well, let's see:

1) He's TOTALLY gorgeous in every possible way
2) He's a spitting image of Christopher Reeves himself, God bless his soul
3) He's adorable and the thought of him makes me say "squee" out loud to myself
4) He has the whole "renegade curl" going on in his sexy Superman hairdo
5) The way he says "I'm always around" can make any girl weak in the knees and tingly all over
6) I "squeed" probably 103891065373267891.93 times throughout the movie
7) I was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO jealous of Kate Bosworth throughout the movie, as well
8) Did I mention that he AMAZINGLY AMAZERING AND LOVELY IN EVERY POSSIBLE WAY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Kate Bosworth did a fantastic job, and I feel bad for initially underestimating her before seeing the movie. She really proved me wrong tonight. Also, I think my respect for Kevin Spacey quadrupled tonight when I saw this movie. I was very shocked to find out that even when he is bald as a cue ball, he can still find a way to sound sexy. I dig that. And respect it, too. Parker Posey pwns my socks. It's official. Also, James Marsden is so cute and really made me emotional throughout the movie, considering that he played the "odd man out", so to speak, in two of my fave movies: Superman Returns and The Notebook. Ugh. I love him.

Oh, and by the way, Brandon Routh's girlfriend, I have 3 words for you: BRING IT ON. Three more words: Brandon is MIIIINE. That is all. ;P

Anyway, all in all, this movie TRULY kicks some major ass, and I am SO happy I got to see the pre-showing tonight at 10:00 with my dear and close friend, Gina Koenigsberger, not to mention my dear friends Liz Moss, Teresa Lin, Sara Erickson, Emily Hellman, and Lauren Clark. Teresa and I have the same mind. Seriously. We both think about the foreshadowing and the sexual innuendoes in the movie, as well as cried in the sensitive parts and laughed together at our many conclusions and jokes together. Oh, the joy I share with her. She makes my life complete. :D We both thought Kevin Spacey looked like Elmer Fudd playing the role of Lex Luthor. hahahahahahahaha Yay Teresa and I. I'm going to miss her when she goes to Taiwan. She promised we'd hang out before then, tho. So yay us. :D

And now for the bad news portion of this update.

Bad(more like sad) news: My dear and very close friend, Gina Koenigsberger, is leaving tomorrow to go off into the Air Force Academy until Thanksgiving, when she has a limited break. The good news is that I can keep in touch with her by snail mail, but nothing more. She is starting her basic training, aka her descendence into Hell, when she gets there. I know she'll do great there, but, still, my heart aches as I am slowly absorbing all the emotions that are travelling throughout my body right now about her departure. I'm happy for her because she fulfilling her dreams of becoming a fighter pilot, but I am saddened by the thought of not seeing her as often as I have throughout high school over the last three years together with her. I didn't know her my freshman year; I really got to know her through colorguard, Hawaii '04, Disneyworld/Cruise '06, Harry Potter party '06, Disney Party '06, Six Flags '06, and all of her going away parties my friends and I threw for her. She is such a special person to me, and she is more like a sister to me. She really taught me what it means to be a true and loyal friend, and also showed me the joys and honor of knowing I have a dear, close, and loyal friend who will always be there for me, no matter what. She means so much to me, and I can't bear to be apart from her for too long. I just can't. Period. I love her. I can't believe she's actually leaving tomorrow. I'm going to miss her so much, she doesn't even know. Words can't describe the pain that lingers in my heart right now. I miss her already, and she isn't even gone yet.

My eyes ache and my head hurts from all the crying I've done tonight, from Superman Returns to saying goodbye to my Gina. My head is reeling right now because of the overwhelming feeling from all the different emotions I'm experiencing right now. I can't believe how fast time has flown between the end of the school year 'til now. It's just blown by, like as if Superman blew his icy cold breath and managed to somehow blow so hard that time passed quicker. Well, hopefully that trend will continue so that time will pass rapidly toward Thanksgiving, then hopefully Superman will get tired and let time slow down for the weekend or so, and then go back to blowing the time away. Actually, now that I think about it more, I hope time doesn't go all that fast, because I'm excited for college, and I'd like to relish in the time I spend there because after that, then it's off into the big, scary world out there, full of monsters and frightening new concepts and jobs to take care of. It'll be fun in college. I know it. :)

To sum up, this night has been tiresome. So has this last whole week. I'm off to rest my pretty little head. Yay Brandon Routh. I'm off to dream of him coming to my room and lifting me off the ground, flying me far off into the sky so that I may get a close up view of every star in the galaxy and feel weightless. ::le sigh:: Oh, Brandon Routh, you tease, you.

happy news and tragic news

Happy news: I GRADUATED, BITCHES!!!! YEEEEEEEEEEAH! CLASS OF '06, BABY!!! WOOT WOOT!!!

and now for the saddest news i've heard all day:

To everyone-

On the morning of June 12, 2006, our beloved Mr. Chekouras passed away. He was one amazing person, and I will never forget him. Please keep him, his family, and his friends in your prayers, and remember the joy he brought to countless teachers, students, and friends. Pass this on to let people know. Thanks.

I loved him so much. He was the best gym teacher I've ever had, hands down. He was simply one of the greatest men to ever set foot on this planet. I'm so lucky I had the pleasure and honor of being in his weight training class. His jokes and laughter still ring in my ears, and will forever more. I love you, Mr. Chekouras. May your body rest in peace, and may your spirit soar above the highest cloud in heaven. Please watch over your family and friends, they need you. Thank you for all the wonderful and fond memories that I and others shall cherish for a lifetime. We will fondly miss and remember you, Mr. C. Peace be with you.

Hello everyone!!!

I hope all of you had a delightful spring break this last week, I know I did for sure!!!! So, I went on the Band Trip '06 with mah band peeps. I love every one of them. They all rock my socks!!! hehe! Anywho, first off, we went to Orlando to spend the day at the Animal Kingdom at Disneyworld!!! It was SUPER amazing. I loved seeing all of the animals and riding Expedition Everest the day after it first was opened!!! It was THE coolest ride. I swear. :D I loved every minute of it. :D haha to Ye-Tea. (that was for mer, gina, liz, sara, and shauna. mah girliez :D) The Safari ride was kinda boring, minus the animals n such, but it was hilarious. Also, It's Tough to Be A Bug made me laugh and scream. Moving on, we then went to Epcot Kingdom after Animal Kingdom, and it was amazing, because I got to ride Soarin', which was amazing, and I got to see my Patrick Warburton work it!!! He makes me melt, what can I say... *sigh* I also went on Mission:Space and Test Track, too!!! The rides were awesome, and my roomies and I also had a blast later that night. What can I say...I <3333 Kemi and Jillian!!! no more crack for you... haha. Anyway, the next day we went to the Magic Kingdom, which I was REALLY looking forward to, cuz I've been there before. It truly was a Magical day indeed!!! I met the Queen of Hearts and the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland, and rode the Teacups ride, as well as Space Mountain (where I taught a Chinese Girl how to do the "Big Mac, Filet-o-Fish" hand game!!! it was cool!), Thunder Mountain, Haunted Mansion, and It's a Small World (the most stereotypical ride of all time....yuck) At night time, however, we did the parade, and it was really fun and cool to perform for all the random pplz of Disneyworld, and also, we

Then, after all of that, we drove to Miami and got on the Carnival cruise ship M.S. Fascination...which was amazing all on it's own. ::sigh:: What a B-E-A-Utiful ship it was, too. I got to spend time with mah girls Gina, Liz, Sara, and Shauna, as well as chill with my boys Brandon, Josh, and Scott. It was a rockin' good time indeed. We had dance parties almost every night, and it was pretty sweet. :D Anywho, on our second day of being on the cruise ship, we stopped at Key West to shop, which was awesome, and I spent some time with my roomies, because they are also awesome...and crackified. haha kemi ;P Then, we had so much free time to swim or just chill on the ship, I got some serious power napping n such in and chatted it up with my homie, Ryan Wiklin, who is like the sweetest and cutest boy I know, I love 'im, and then went to party, where I danced with my boy, Theo, for the WHOLE NIGHT. He is a cutie patootie. I love that kid so much. Almost as much as his brother. <3 Anyway, then the next day we had some time to chill while we made our way to Cozumel, Mexico. I spent time with Gina and all them, and also spent time with Kara and Kira and their gang, which was super fun. I love them so much. <333 The next day, I went snorkeling in Cozumel with Gina, Liz, Brandon, Josh, and the others. It was so amazing to see all the fish and swim so close up to them. It was phenomenal. :D Later on that night, I was having some difficulties with relationship jeopardies and such, and I had to leave the group o' ppl I was with, because I couldn't handle being around a certain someone. I went into the Coconut Grove (a SWEET buffet that goes like 24-7 without stopping yay), and sat down to think for a while. Jeremy found me and with me and chatted with me about what I need to do to make myself feel better. I truly appreciate all that he did for me. He is such a wonderful friend of mine. I love 'im. I really don't know what I would've done without his guidance and help. Anyway, he and Rowe and Kara all helped me get through my issues and calmed me down. I love all of them so very much, they make me laugh SO hard. :D The day after that, I watched our jazz bands kick some ass playing on the cruise ship...we totally dominated the other school's lame-o performance. I hung with rustykins, jilly, n kems. It was pretty cool. My favorite part was when the two jazz bands combined to play "Hey, Jude" and they sang it and everythang. Yay! hehe Anywho, then I hung out with Theo, Rusty, n Brandon, and chatted it up with them for quite some time. They make me giggle like none other, I mean, other than Rowe. He is the shiz. :D And Jeremy, too. :D

On our final day in Florida, we said "bon voyage" to the cruise ship ppl and headed out to Disney's MGM Kingdom for our final excursion of the trip. I chilled with my homies Rowe, Jeremy, Kara, Kira, Puja, Margie, Matt, and Kari the whole time, and it was pretty much totally amazing throughout the day. I couldn't believe that I had the balls to go on "Rockin' Rollercoaster" first with them. It went from 0 to 60 mph in 2.3 seconds. I was like "HOLY MOTHER O' CHRIST!!!" That also was pretty much my fave ride, next to the Star Wars ride...which was hilarious because of Jeremy's non-stop need to "drive" the vehicle/simulator we were in. Hil-arious. Then, we shopped around for a while and I got to know Jer, Rowe, and Kara MUCH MUCH better than I ever knew them before. YAY!!! :D Later on, Rowe and Kara were calming me and Kira down as we were about to embark on our worst nightmare of a ride, "The Tower of Terror." I'm not gonna lie...I was flat out frightened by that ride, but Rowe promised to sit next to me, and Kira and Kara did as well. Much to my surprise, I was shocked at the semi-lameness of the actual drops. I would have been more terrified if they had only dropped us once a little, then raised us up higher, then dropped us straight down. Instead, they dropped us like 5 or 6 times. It was SUPER fun and scary tho. Kira and I loved it. Sorry Rowe for kinda digging my nail into your hand as it happened. I mean it. :D

Then, we headed home, which was the worst part of the trip, cuz we were actually going home!!! hehe I'm kidding, only because I missed all of my buddies here in good ol' Wisconsin. I also had fun with Mer the whole time being bus buddies with her for 27 hours each trip up and down. YAY MER!!! I love you!!!

But, I'm not gonna lie, all in all, that was the best trip I've ever gone on. Even better than Hawaii. Hands down. All 4 Kingdoms of Disneyworld AND a kick-ass cruise??? HELLZ yeah it was amazering x 8159541560541630415263415632. :D ::squee::

BAH I don't wanna go to skool tomorrow!!!!!! UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH oh well. At least I'll be able to see mah friends n such and catch up on a lil' bit o' learnin'. I have to start really working on my independent study recital shtuff. I hope you all had a wonderful spring break as well!!! I'll try my best to update whenever I get the chance!!! I miss you all!!! For Abbey

Abbey Jo Ottem

-a girl who's joy and happiness was contagious
-someone who brought more people hope and laughter than anyone i know

Abbey Jo Ottem died of pneumonia in her house a few days ago, and I just found out now, and it breaks my heart to hear such tragic news. She really was a cheerful, joyful girl who made me smile every time I saw her beaming smile. She was such a wonderful person in general. I'm glad I had the opportunity to get to know her in Girl Scouts so many years ago, but I'm so upset that I never had the chance to say goodbye to an old friend.

My prayers and heart go out to Abbey's mom, her sisters, the rest of her extended family and her closest friends. May Abbey rest in peace. May Abbey's family see her bright shining smile in every morning sun, in every radiant beam that catches their eyes. May her star outshine all the rest of the stars in the sky, twinkling bright, giving hope and the knowledge that she is okay.

This song is for you, Abbey. I'll never forget you. Thank you for all the laughter and hope.

Greetings one and all!!!!

How is everyone? I know, it has been quite some time since I've updated my LJ. I've missed you all SO much!!!!! Grease is going really well; it's such a fun experience, and I'm so lucky to be a part of it!!! :D My new favorite actor ever is Gary Oldman, such a sexy old-ish British hunk. ::swoon:: I say that because in AP English, we've been reading Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, aka one of the funniest and absurd plays ever penned. Gary Oldman played the youthful and curious Rosencrantz, and he was adorble, yo. :D Anywho, I'm SO happy that the new Inuyasha episodes are coming back on TV!!!! They are on Tuesdays now, though. Oh, well. hehe!

I hope everyone is doing well! I'm sorry that it has been so incredibly long since I've talked with y'all online and stuff. I've been out-of-my-mind business and stressed out because of school and grades and college and just everything and Grease and stuff. hehe! I'll try to come online again soon, I just REALLY need to finish everything and get it out of the way. :D THEN I'LL BE FREE!!!!! yay!

I also realized that my college situation isn't so terrible. I came to the conclusion that Lawrence just isn't the university for me. It's JUST like Homestead. NO LIES. So, I am not sending in that application anymore, I've made my final decision on that. So yeah, getting my grades up was hard, but I'm so glad I did it. I feel SO much better about myself. I'm really working hard to achieve my goals, and I'm starting to learn how to be proud of my accomplishments. I'm in a really happy, yet stressed state of mind right now, and I kinda like it. :)

Well, I must be going now, seeing as I have band soon, and I have to study some mo' for my exams. Best of luck to all of you who have to venture their way through the treacherous exam days. We'll make it, guys. Oh, and to the seniors:
