If you are reading this, it's probably because you're thinking of adding me to your livejournal friends list, which I think is awesome! Seriously, if it were up to me I'd be on every friends list in the world. Every once in a while someone will post a comment like, "Is it okay to add you to my friends list?" What's up with this? What am I going to say, no? Don't ask, just add!

And if you add me to your list, I'll add you to my list, so you'll get to read all the whiny friends-only entries and I'll maybe even read your journal.

The only issue is this: I do have an expansive lists of friends. So I don't get to read everyone's journals. In fact, I only click the great and all-inclusive "friends" link once a week or so. The rest of the time I just read different friends groups. People I know in real life, people I've known for a long time, people I group for no particular reason... and sometimes, I don't even read any of those. A lot of times when I do read my whole list I'll come across a really good entry that someone's written, so I'll add them to a group and try to read their journal... there are lots of people like that too.

What I'm saying is that if you require people on your friends list to read your journal, don't add me, I'll disappoint. Yes. I'm not proud of this. If you're going to post one of those "Comment to this entry or get the ax" posts that people love to do sometimes, don't add me. Because I usually miss those, and get the ax, and get annoyed.

Aside from that, add away, and if you want to tell me you've added me that's great, and if not I'll catch you and add you when I do a friend comparison next, m'kay? Welcome and thanks for letting me on your list!
