Ok, so i've got a problem here - an interesting conundrum. Where do you find Shounen Manga, thats also Yaoi?
i'm not really keen on Shojo stuff, it bores me really. I like Shounen, and a bit of Seinen, and the odd shojo - so where do I get my fix outside fandom?
I want plot, i want fighting I want tension, I want kissing in the first 3 chapters that isnt followed up, I want....
Ok. so what i want is Narusasu to be canon, but I'm willing to go for a substitute while I wait for it to become canon.

Its funny cause NaruSasu is the one pairing i've shipped that ISNT canon, that I almost totally think IS. i mean ok.... Wolfstar.... it should be, but we AAAALLL know it isnt. (except karin, but thats a whole different bag of briks right?)

Its uncluttered, there aren't slews of adverts - its pure white, with lots of nice simple colours, unlike lynx or alta vista or Jeeves, or anything like that. i dont care about features, or google earth or anything like that - its just that its nice, easy and plain.
Its user friendly. How has it changed my life? I can't tell - I was using the internet long before I knew about google - I supose it just made things easier!

the job is in Leeds, so it takes me a while to get there in the morning, so I have to wake up far too early. but hey...... The place I work is beautiful - A little place near the train station, closed away from the main road by afew buildings. There are little grassy lawns and sycamore trees and a fountain and benches ^_^ and its like.... 2 seconds from the city centre. JOY! Every day feels like a day out. i think I'm in love.
Its good money, there are good people, it has good prospects, its in a great location, and its doing work that I quite enjoy. LOOOOVE!!!!
In other news, I've felt a lure towards Harry Potter again. I know loads of people thought the last book sucked dokey cock. I loved it, I don't know why. I know it was horrendously cheesey, and we all saw it coming but... but... It's everything I ever wanted.

To be honest i think it was a piss poor film - shody acting, Massive plotholes (Like OMG telepathy? WTF???? when did she get THAT super power???) and some pretty crap graphics - Las Vegas undersand? the proportions just didn't seem... right.
However. However.
if I was going to write dystopia/zombie horror (which I LOVE to little bits and pieces) This has EVERYTHING..... EVERYTHING I would do.
The mutant changes, the crows, the organisations, the crazy scientists Oh GOD!
To be honest i'm harbouring a little Naruto Mutant/Dystopia/Zombie Horror type fic, (I know its weird) and the boardroom holograms? akatsuki much? that made me giggle, cause the guy had pein hair, and his shades looked like some kind of piercing.
And then she went and developed sharingan and I was all like WTF?? YEEEEESSSSSS
So I enjoyed this piss poor film, because I loved the world it was set in, ect and because, yes, I love zombie horror.
Becoming a bit of a gamer recently to tell the truth.
Currently, rediscovering the Myst series by Cyan ect. i started playing these games when i was about seven.
My dad and me would hold up in the little windowless computer room upstairs, turn off the lights and pull up the wooden chair. He'd sit in the "drivers seat" - i'd hover on the back of his chair and watch as he clicked around the worlds, and try to lend a hand. In the Mornings, on holidays - it must have been winter - I'd sit and play, my feet freezing, listening to obscure music and doing..... nothing. Enjoy the rides, read the diaries. and that was how we solved Riven.
These days its different. I'm in bed (so LAZY but where else can I go?) and I'll sit and play withe Apes, clicking round the worlds, exploring, solving puzzles, watching them grow, the graphics change the music so real. So epic. They're beautiful games.
I'm so fond of the characters - I grew up with them, honestly, and when Atrus calls us his friend, when we rush off to save him, his worlds, his wife, his books his CHILDREN, I feel so stupidly proud, at how we're always there, like the kind of person I'd like to be, to jump in when a crazy man snatches your life away and burns everyhing to the ground...
Half way through the forth game now, or perhaps we've nearly finnished.
I'm loving this game, but I have niggles (Its soooo hard!!!! I keep getting lost in damn serenia and all the little pools and drippy fire flowers look the same, and If i see one more spirit whoosh at me I'm going to drown it or burn it or whatever!!!)
this game is epic it really is, but I'm niggling at the fact that its too detailed. like the lack of info dump... Its great, no more Wading through endless journals for a few little clues! but I liked Atrus' bloody journals. cause keeping a ridiculously detailed journal is just so HIM. and all the worlds are so complicated, I can't tell up and down.... Spire was good, but haven and serenia... urgh (even though they're pretty)
but yay! for characterization. I really feel like I know him now... hes a little dorky guy who's the god and creator of all these worlds, trying so HARD not to be, and all he wants to do is tinker and write, and be so good and kind and.....
anywho, there it is.
yay for beautiful grafics, cool muisc, and most of all guys in red dresses who paddy and knock you on the head when they can't have their own way.

Story (for anyone who's intrested) is an old RP a me and April did (and still do from time to time) It was the first RP we'd done since we were like... 10, and trying to bite back the crazy imagination we were so close to losing.
All our characters were loosly based on people from one series/book/film or other, but they grew and grew, and they will always hold a place in my heart. Almost literally.
So heres the plan. I'm going to flesh out the world today, and this is really just a babble to myself. but here we go:

Every time I go to the Scotish nights at our local pug I always think "Oh god, what a load of idiots we are" as we murder our way through "Bluebells of Scotland" "Marries Wedding" and "Flower of Scotland" .
At Burnes night we fumble through "The toast to the lassies" and on Snt Andrews night my mum shouts the words of "Peggy Gordan" ahead of my Dad and sets him off kilter with his guitar.
I usually get up and sing a song or two as well. Because my vocals have really lost their clarity and pitch I never do quite as well as I'd like, but alcohol and nerves are like a magic charm for me - my voice clears and I do better than I think.
But April the 16th isn't a Burns night. is not snt Andrews either. Its the memorial of Culloden, the end of the scotish uprising, when so many brave men died to defend their crown.

Eriskay is so old hat now (it was my first real solo performance) that I under practised it and it was shakey. My bonnie moorhen - not bad, pitched it a little low but I'm singing low anyway and my voice seemed to take alto quite well. but Flowers of the forest.... ehehehehehehehe I got up. I stood there. What was the tune again? gone. Out of the window - its all unacompanied, so what do I do?
I made it up in the end. and flowers of the forest has quite a well known tune. They seemed to take to my "new version" ok though.
My most frustrating failure is my writing. I think I can write, (I think i can write quite well) but when I try for inspiration my brain draws up... nothing. Eternal writers block.
I have so many ideas but they all come to nothing in the end, because I get so far and then I dont know what to do next, and if I force my wrting it comes out as unintelligible babble. Every story that I ever imagine is a sort of hazy idea - a start and a finish, but no real meat.
what happens next? I leave myself on cliffhangers.
I brainstorm ideas and draw up blanks.
Its so frustrating....

I've mentioned this before I think, but In my spare time I've decided to write fanfic. Anyone who knows anything about me and fanfic will know that I run out of confidence and ideas around the third chapter, but I have a vauge idea of what to do with this one.
My plan is to take EVERYTHING sucky about the naruto fandom/ fanfic in general and do it well. That means this fic will contain (hopefully): Tobito, OC, sakura hate (which I will resolve cuz I wuv her ), A nice itachi, Soppy narusasu/Itasasu and possibly (if I can figure out a way) a marysue (i'll do my best on that one, but theres no way you can really use a marysue and have it be good unless you're writing a parody) but ill try my best.
ugh im tired.
Naruto is teh uber at the moment. i am HAPPY ^_^
