Okay, so, I've been missing for a while now, I guess I should explain the absense. Basically I had the Edinburgh International Film Festival for two weeks, and I had my mate staying with me for those two weeks, followed by a friend from London coming up to stay for the final few days of the fest... followed by me going down to London to stay with him for a few days and for the 'Heroes World Tour' before I headed off to work the event 'The London Film & Comic Con' (photos have been added to Spun Crazy, including: Milo Ventimiglia, Adrian Pasdar, Jack Coleman and Hayden Panettiere).

I've also been AWOL for an additional week due to the fact that I bought a pile of DVDs while I was in Toronto. Anyway I sat and watched all of Psych and How I Met Your Mother season one, this week, as well as the features on the Heroes & Supernatural discs. I bought loads of other DVDs too, but I've offloaded them onto various cousins so they can give me them for Christmas, lol, ;)

Anyway after I got back from London, I went jetting off to the Toronto Film Festival and I have not yet uploaded my pics from there just yet, but I have photos of: Ewan McGregor, Colin Farrell, Jena Malone, William Hurt, Jennifer Connelly, Mark Ruffalo, Joaquin Phoenix and one, very low quality pic of Sean Penn.)

And so now I am back online... I've been trying desperately to catch up on all the updates I was planning to do lately, but hey, haven't managed them all quite yet. I have done a quick update of Provenance with 7 new pieces added in by ehlwyen. And I have completed my Radiance update I've been planning for a while. So, not too bad considering, I'll be updating WF tomorrow hopefully, :D

And, lastly, I am majorly hacked off right now. Loads of people on YouTube have been asked to take their Dark Angel music vids offline... I mean there are loads that have suddenly vanished from my favourites. I mean come on, the show got canned years ago, how the hell are they getting so pissy over it now? Sheesh! Sorry, rant over with!

Currently: Totally looking forward to brand new heroes, so right now, nothing can knock me down, woo! ;)

And also, dammit people book up for Asylum 2008!!!! Guests include, Jared Padalecki, Samantha Ferris (Ellen) and Chad Lindberg (Ash). It's going to be an awesome weekend, and you'll regret not going if you don't book! :P

Yip that's right... six weeks later and I'm back. I was brought in yesterday, I have been gettin pain for couple of weeks, then when I was in work yesterday morning it got worse, so I went home, then kinda collapsed in pain. And here I am again!

I have blood aaround my ovaries and they think my natural process of releasing egg etc has been disrupted and will be off from now on, so I need to get a certain kind of 'the pill' to effectively shut down my ovaries until a time comes where I decide I want kids. And if I choose to, I can get an implant that will last 3 years. So it's not too bad.

I hope to be home again soon, it just sucks being in hospital, grrr. Visiting hours are soon though so I may wind up with a few folks here to keep me company, woooo!

Sorry for the random vanishing, I was an updating fiend for a while there, but I ran away. Well, flew away to be more precise. I went down to London (again!) for the gig at Hyde Park, saw Jet, Chris Cornell, Aerosmith so it was a perdy awesome time. There was also a lot of time spent in bars, and hiding from rain. But am back now. Since getting back I have been tidying up and sorting out stuff around the home before going back to work, and today by the way was my first day back after the operation, woo! So yes, I'm basically back to my normal routine now, work, internet, the usual. :P But I took a little break there to get myself all sorted out. But now that I'm back look out for some more updates all around, yay!

So I got home this afternoon, and have spent all day sleeping. It's been nice to lie around and rest, but I feel really drained and groggy, and it's tough finding the motivation to actually get anything done.

For example this week is my exam week... EEP! I've already missed one class' deadline for a paper, and the others are all exams to do this week. I had to get in touch with the university, explain circumstances, I have all the hospital sheets and things to hand in etc, but it was just so taxing having to do all that, I didn't have the energy to do anything else. Yes, speaking on the phone and emailing people drained me. How pathetic is that?

Anyway, I slept most of today and just got up at 10pm, so although it's technically 1.48am for me, it's not actually all that late considering what I time I woke up at, ;)

I have done some art. Believe it or not I did find energy for that! It was an idea I had the night before I went into hospital, but was sore and sleepy so decided against making it. Well I spent some time since waking up tonight and put it together. demetreas has a challenge for character wallpapers at the moment and I wanted to do one about Alec. Basically I wanted to show how on the outside he's all cocky and arrogant for show, but on the inside he's nervous and he knows he's only got one shot at living especially with everyone coming after him. So I used these episode caps, and these song lyrics to show what I was thinking.

ok u won't believe this but yesterday my patientline internet crashed! yip somehow those evil gods of technology found a way 2 smite me down even while im in hospital, shocking!

anyway that's fixed now and i'm bk 2 giv u guys an update. it turns out i had cists around my tubes and ovaries and one had spontaneously burst, there was internal bleeding too, i had surgery yesterday and am so much better now, i hope 2 b goin home 2m yay!

thanks 2 everyone who sent their love and hugs it really cheered me up

975... that's Wallflowers and Provenance added together, how freaking awesome is that? What is scarier is the fact that I have every single one of those wallpapers saved onto my hard drive in 1024x768, 800x600 and 160x120 sizes. Lol.

So anyway, I have just finished off updating all of my sites again! (well apart from Superfine, it's getting an update very soon I promise!) Anyway, here is the breakdown...

Okay, so yes I just got back last night from another mad weekend away, but details on Decalogy will be in my next post when I actually have photos uploaded/scanned to share, lol.

This post is all about the big changes over at Radiance. You see, I was going through all of my so-called goodies on my site and thinking to myself... you know, I have other textures and gradients that aren't on here... you know, ones that are actually good. So I have stopped all art making atm to pause and take the time to re-organise and clean up the goodies section.

So, I now have a new textures section, with six grungy textures I made. I still have all the old ones just kept in a separate bit marked 'old textures' that is linked to separately.

I have also changed the thumbnails and layout on my gradients page to make it easier to view the various sets. I have also uploaded another 5 sets for people to use.

I've added in a section called livejournal sets. Which is basically zip files containing header, friends only banners and matching icons for each set. I added in six old sets that I had put together for friends or communities on livejournal, and all are now available to download. I have 2 spangel sets, 1 spuffy, 1 firefly, and 2 supernatural. So there's a bit of variety in there. :) I do hope to add to this in the future.

I'm also considering digging up old layouts of sites and adding in a free layouts section with php and css files included. But will need to see how that works out. I'm still looking for ways to make this section a lot better, but should hopefully come up with some more ideas soon!

Anyway, thought I'd share those updates with you guys, just in case anyone was remotely interested.

Okay, so I leave tomorrow for another weekend away, so I've been trying to squish in as many updates as possible.

Wallflowers: Updated with 6 new pieces by demetreas (Dee) and bre2004 (Bre).

Provenance: Updated with 2 new pieces by uglybusiness (Zugma) and a new artist firecracker452 (Firecracker) with 10 pieces to add to the archive.

Radiance: This update was done late last night, I deleted about 20 old BtVS and AtS episodic wallpapers, I re-did all of the thumbs and renamed a bunch of filenames for the episodic pieces, and re-did the layout and organisation for those wallpapers too. Still got more to do though! And I also added in the latest Dark Angel wallpaper I posted in my previous post.

Wowza, I've been busy! Lol. Still got more to add all around, so when I get back stay on the look out!
