I'll be the first to say that it's unlikely to be accurate or unbiased, but still. (Here's where they talk about the assumptions involved in calculating the taxes based on what the candidates have said.) It's fun? XD

Credit card insiders tell of deceptive practices

1) You only need one credit card, and if you have more, get rid of the extras.

2) Don't spend more than you make. If you can't pay off your entire credit card balance each month, you're spending too damn much.

3) Credit card companies want you to be in debt. This is how they make money. So, you know, when they offer you a higher balance, it's because they want you to spend that money and not be able to pay it off right away. Just because they offer you more money to spend does not mean that you have the means to pay that money back. And if you're not careful, that twenty dollar toaster you bought will end up costing you a hundred bucks by the time you get done paying the interest.

It's funny that the stereotype is of the poor college student. Maybe it's my proximity to Spoiled Brat University, but these kids never seem poor. (Like, that one chick in one of my classes who bitched about not having enough money for tuition in one sentence and then answered her brand new cell with manicured fingernails to set up an appointment to get her hair highlighted in the next...) Reality, for the most part, doesn't seem to be troubling them much. The poor part comes after they've graduated and realize that there is no job out there for a freshly graduated college student that is going to be able to finance the kind of lifestyle that they've become accustomed to while living off of credit cards and mommy and daddy.

$5.13 for a gallon of gas? Freaking A am I glad I'm getting out of this job. >_>

Also, I'm glad I got gas this morning when it was only $3.92 a gallon.

So, I dreamt this morning that Madonna was Republican and running for president.

She was married to Brad Pitt and they had a kid with no skin who had to wear a clear plastic exoskeleton in order to stay all held together. (Although, you could open up her head and put candy in her brain, because that made her happy.)

They conducted a study too, and determined that the reason she had no skin (or you know, anything holding her together) was because her father ate hand sanitizing lotion.

I love hormone induced dreams, they're always really great for that cracked, wtf factor.

And right now I'm watching Simply Ming on PBS and imagining that the three chefs (The main chef guy, and I think those two are guest chefs from Maine) are about to go have hot threesome smex after they finish eating all the funky looking food they've made...

The problem with trying to create plot is that when you answer one question for yourself, six more pop up, making it virtually impossible to keep things short and sweet. >_> Or, at least, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.
