Need to mail scans of sketches still, and do a comic page tonight.

Finished all my sketches, whee! Now I have a huge headache. Take a small break, then scan and clean them up.

Oh man..Wajas released stupid Earth Tokens today, Diamond ones. DX I don't have enough in game to buy one, and I don't really feel like tapping into my Paypal to get one either. Drat, I HAD enough earlier this week, but I got caught up in my quest to make a ton of money, which required I buy a lot of items with said money first.

Sending out another round of sketches tonight. Busy weekend ended up with me not getting as much done as I would have liked to.

This weekend was so so fun..but now I'm sort of crunched to get some work done.

First, we had a BBQ at Corin's, then today we went apple picking and ate at the Maple barn.

Yesterday I felt SO SO productive. That makes up for the downer days I had last week.

-Did a million and one little edits to CSS on my Wordpress page, uploaded and edited all the bonus comic stuff that was sitting around. Earlier I had upgraded the versions of WP and Comicpress theme, seems much faster now.

-Finished all my sketch work for earlier, still need to do some edits and sent those off over the weekend. Rounded out a few older non sketch commissions as well.

-Cleaned out and organized 'The Death Tower', a file folder of art. It now is has one drawer for blank paper, one for finished art, and some odds and ends, and one huge one for all my old sketches.

-In line with cleaning the Death Tower, I found a whole bunch of older sketches, small paintings, and doodles that are now in the for sale binder for conventions. I just need to price everything.

Then last night I took a break to try out games on the new HD TV set up. My PS2 does not have component cables, so it's a bit grainy, and dark. I figured Silent Hill 3 was the best bet to experiment with. I flailed around, wondering why the game was SO SO unbearably DARK, than spent more time playing with the screen set up, and it was STILL too dark. Then I found the flashlight in the next room and felt dumb.

Should be sending out the last owed sketches soon-ish. My scanner keeps getting stuck at warming up, frustrating, but after a few tries it does kick in. Might be time to invest in a new one...

So, anyone else want to jump in on more $10 sketches? Same dealie, single character, no background.

I forgot about this, ah, so many things going on. :3

Anyway, Kam cleaned out a huge box of computer-y bits, of which a good chunk is outdated, mostly useless and worth nearly nothing to sell it. We both don't want to just throw it out, some of it's toxic and adding to landfills is dumb.

I want to break apart a bunch of it to make keychains/cellphone hangers. Particularly with the RAM sticks that have built in holes. :3

I'm thinking I can also make some little sculpy accents like faces, paws or whatever to add to some.

Would anyone be interested in getting one made?

Is anyone else like, really annoyed by these new 'Stop hatin' on us' adds that the corn refiners of America are putting on TV in regards to High Fructose Corn Syrup?

Tell me that it's 'Okay in moderation' is bullshit when it's IN EVERYTHING, you CAN'T avoid it. But what really gets me about the ad is that apparently, people who dis like HFSC and would like to see it limited in it's use, are ignorant and just don't know the facts, duh!

I hope they like the parody ads that are on YouTube, and I'll just avoid it as best I can until HFCS is the next Transfat, and get's banned.

I think my point is just that I really want some Canadian Soda right now. :

I feel like such a slacker today..even though I know I did a bunch of work, I just feel like I didn't get to /enough/ of it. I don't like feeling like I've let people down, because they have wait an extra day to get art. Bleh..

There was epic bread today, and tomorrow I'mma make some cheesecake swirl brownies that I bought.

3.5 Sketches completely today, one was a revision-ish thing, so it's only a half. Scan and email those in the morning, if I can work in time, got the last two done.

Got everyone's payment and references from the last batch of sketches. Going to drag myself to get some done tonight, the weather isn't helping. D:

Fuuuck...I have so much sketch work to do today after yesterday's amazing 'sleep for 12 hours for no reason'. I don' feel like doing sketches, I want to do some digital work..

On a slightly nicer note, I just found a whole folder full of eurobeat music I snagged off internet radio that I had never gone though. Some good shit in there and that makes me happy.

I should probably post something about being back from AWA.

God it sucked. I failed to make back the cost of the flight down, people where rude this year, and there was nothing I wanted to buy in the dealer's room. I had nose bleeds all Friday, bruised my tailbone on Saturday, and generally was a huge asshole to people coming to the table. I did not get to drink at all. :<

Edit: I totally lost my room key about ten minutes after I was given it. I think I dropped it in the toilet. I'm not even kidding.

However, getting to see and talk to all my old college friends was totally sexy and well worth the trip. If I come down next year, I just want to hang out with everyone instead of spending so much time trying to sell shit.

Also, I guess I'm not the only person who's still playing Persona 3, kind of shocked an amused to see everyon I knew was still playing it along with me.

Okay guys, I keep track of SO many set up for different cons, I tend to forget things..

Did I promise you space for the Furfright hotel? I'm trying to figure out who I might have missed when letting people in the room. So far:

-Me, Kam, Fishy for the whole con.

-Louve and Travis get Thursday night crash space.



Did I offer you space and you still need it? I want to say I had a fourth room mate for the whole con..(( If I didn't, we still have space for one more, main hotel with an atrium view. :3 ))

I'm off to a fabulous start on this day before con.

- Woke up at 9 due to the lawncare crew bumping a ride-on mover into the building right outside my window. I kind of wanted to sleep in, and then stay up late to finish my work.. Oh well I can't print yet anyway!!

- My printer is having some sort of random Emo ink issue. It's rolling black ink all over my prints. Technically I could get by with the prints I have on hand, but I want to print a new sign, and some more mini badge designs before tomorrow.


On the plus side, I completely cleaned out my Con suitcase. It weights about 10 pounds less. All of that weight was badges. I need to find a way to start hanging my collection up.

I'm also glad I'm special enough to be reminded about the AC dealer's room. Which I will be sending out my app after AWA. Anyone want to split a full with me? I only want half, and would rather share with a friend than deal with another year of random folks.

Love doing these ten buck sketches. Moreso than if I had one large digital commission of the same price that would take longer. I might keep these up for a bit longer. I have a few in different stages of completion, sort of got a bit behind as I felt sick over the weekend and took a break.

I also didn't think I'd do it, but then Matrices posted her kickass tutorial that just happened to use the same McCall's pattern I have on hand, so I ended up cutting out all the pieces for Gunner's bodysuit. I just need a white zipper, some felt or something for the big, dumb butt bandaid, and I should have that done for Furfright.

I should also point out my Halloween might be spent in a semi abandon warehouse adorned with old arcade machines, and inhabitant by circus freaks. I'm not even kidding. I kind of hope that all pans out in the way it's being planned.

Is AWA really this weekend? Craaap.... I am so not in the least bit excited for this con. I think I've really come to the point where Anime cons and I need to go our separate ways, unless of course AWA surprises me and I make more last time, which really didn't warrant a $250 plane ticket down..

Anyway, I can't remember for the life of me who said they had Thursday night floor crash space I could use? It might even have been over notes on DA. Was it you?
