I'm on vacation all this week. It's a very stupid vacation, the kind where I don't really leave the house and lay in bed and watch TV and read fanfiction and eat and stuff. *whispers* i wanna write a jon/brendon au where jon's eight year old son has a major crush on bden's twelve year old daughter omg. i wanna write it so bad. like, um, he always shows up on bden's front porch wanting to hang out and he's super laidback jon cool except for how bden's teeny tiny tomboy daughter is AWESOME and mini walker gets big eyes around her and cassie lives across the street and mini walker's like WAIT TIL YOU MEET MY DAD CAN MINI URIE GO TO THE MOVIES WITH US! mini walker plays peewee soccer with mini urie and they're so cute you could DIE. i don't know what happened to mini urie's mom. like, i'm thinking they were never married - but jon and cassie are divorced, and cassie has custody of mini walker and cassie helps out bden, like, when mini urie breaks her arm and bden freaks out and forgets how to drive a car and cassie has to take them all to the hospital and mini urie is like OW! but also SO COOL LOOK AT MY CAST DAD! and mini urie totally tolerates mini walker - he's so young, and mini urie can almost date thanksverymuch, except for the part where bden will never ever let her date - and really deep down inside they're best friends, because mini urie is kind of weird, like her dad, and doesn't have a lot of school friends, but that's fine, whatever, mini urie knows she's awesome, her dad tells her so like all the time. and bden is in a band with spencer and cash in his spare time and ryan is the weird dude who lives behind bden and yells at mini urie and mini walker to stay off his lawn, and then one day spencer's like hey, wait, i totally went to high school with that guy, hey ryan! and ryan's all whatever, hey, tell those mini hellions to stay out of my pachysandra or i'll turn the hose on them, but secretly he leaves out plates of cookies for them, i don't know. ryan's a big ole softy. it's why he's got all those cats.

Also, that Cab babies are Brendon's sidekicks fic I said would never get written? I sorta wrote more of it. It sorta turned into a Drunk Naked Guy fic, too. An epic showdown for who makes the best Drunk Naked Guy on tour. With villainous cockblocking. I have no idea how this spun out of The Cab/Disney vibe I'd started with.

Brendon just gets sloppy and overheated and though he mostly doesn’t remember the stripping part, he often wakes up on picnic tables or bus roofs – if they’re stopped for the night – or other band’s vans, or squished into bunks with Bill or Sisky or Guitar Tech Gabe, not to be confused with Gabe Saporta, who Brendon has thankfully never woken up naked with, because Brendon isn’t sure he’d still have all his working parts.

But anyway, as far as Brendon can remember, he’s never woken up naked with Spencer. Or any of his bandmates, except for that one time with Ryan that they never speak of - Ryan had just looked right through him and said, “Huh, this blanket’s kind of heavy and warm. I really hope it gets the fuck off me so I don’t have to kill it” - so it doesn’t really count.

Holy crap, dudes, you are way too awesome for me - I'm about halfway through replying to comments on We Would Bring It On And On. I'm in total shock of how well that story's been received, for reals. You all just make me incredibly happy :)

In other news, nunshavingfun has created a community (cardstothedisco) modeled after the "David Hewlett, how are you so awesome?" campaign. Should be fun - if we can come up with a suitably non-creepy message. I'm not making any speculations on when this will be posted, because I just sent it to t_usual_suspect, and it's close to the dumbest thing I've ever written, and that's seriously saying something, because I write some dumb fic, you know this. Anywho, MCR!Spencer is officially done at around 27k. Which could be pared down considerably in edits, you never know. It's like a HUGE WEIGHT has been lifted off my shoulders, though! I can breathe properly again! And start getting serious about the next Offspring of Supersaturation!
