Dream from several weeks ago...
The dream began in a suburb but this part I remember very little of, but it seemed a very fairytale like street, at one point I was laying on the grass in front of some beautiful old white house like those one's in the Virginia Highlands, the sun was shining sharp rays though the high green branches of some ancient oak, then a car pulls up.
Next thing I remember I suddenly awoke, standing up oddly enough and looking around.
I was on a city street and it was drizzling but bright outside. I knew what city I was in and knew I was in the southern part of it, and need to be much farther north, so I crossed an intersection and descending the stairs into a welcoming subway hub.
I ran into her three times, first time at a subway station where there was some weird play going on and the stage went half circle around the seats, some man was trying to tell me this long complicated joke but I could hear him well so I just nodded and laughed when he laughed. Then I went to the kiosk and fumbled around for a while trying to figure out how to pull up a map on the touch screen monitor, then I figured out that it was just showing me places and had no maps on it, I walked around the side and found a large map of the subway system, when I turned around I ran right into her. I began apologizing and she simply smiled at me. Something about that smile was infectous. The second time I can't recall much but the third time I ran into her I was on another busy sidewalk when she comes walking up after spotting me standing there. She asked me "Why is it that we keep running into each other?" Her smile melted me, and I smiled back and said "It's fate playing a horrible joke on you." We suddenly began walking with each other, as if we had been friends for years. We glanced into each others eye as we walked and something about her eyes and her smile made me forget all my worries. We stopped and was looking at something in the sky when Daniel walked up, later us three were walking on some huge pipes, I slipped and fell but bear hugged the pipe, laughing uncontrollably for some reason, the other two seemed worried though. I got myself back on top of the pipe and they had disappeared. I went home where I lived with some really nice lady, she kept asking me questions about school and looking at some papers on my bed, but I was very preoccupied, worried where Dan and my new found friend was at. The was a strange figurine I began examining, a red and white face and a bizarre crown you could take off. the lady took it out of my hands and began examining it likewise, and it was worried for her for some reason, that trinket felt to me to be more than met the eye, something older than time itself and something to fear.someone was at the door, it was the girl and Daniel. I motioned them in and asked what happened, apparently the same as me but they dropped down to the pipe below and cuased some major pow, er outage in that area. The lady's cat ran out and I chased after it, as it ducked into the open apartment next door. a lady with her hands full stopped the cat by standing in it's path and saying "no kitty" in a beautiful voice. I grabbed the cat and looked at the woman's face thanking her... she looked exactly like the woman I lived with. Then I awoke in a sweat like I had just had a nightmare, accidently kicking my roommate's cat because I didn't realize she was still on the bed.
