Brain = Fried
So I've been playing World of Warcraft for not quite a week now.

Died HORRIBLY a bunch of times.

Some cool moments though.

Like earlier tonight:
Killed a Sunscale Scytheclaw (A raptor-type thing). Needed to heal, so's I sat down. You heal faster that way, especially when you eat some food. That's when an Ornery Plainstrider (Ostrich.. bird.. thing). Battle wasn't really going in my favor. I'm about to die, so I guzzle a healing potion, which heals me JUST ENOUGH to be able to take it's next hit (Had about a pixel of health at this time), so I perform a War Stomp (radial 2 second stun), then cracked it's skull open with a Heroic Strike.

Good Times.

Then got myself killed a few minutes later by a goblin and his friends.

Stupid Goblins.

Hey, it's red!
Helped wash the vehicles today.

Turns out my car is actually red!

Who knew?

Will probably pick up World of Warcraft tonight.

I know its' awesome and all, but the whole monthly fee is kinda scary. Mostly 'cause I got no way to pay for it, but I think they put out game cards or something. Will have to look into it.

Portables
So I finally tracked down a copy of Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance for the Game Boy Advance (GBA).

Is quite good. Need to change the batteries soon, though.

Also it ocurred to me that I ought to break out my Sega Game Gear for a while.

It should still work, even though half the games I have I don't really play...

So I pulled out the GG earlier.

HOLY SHIT that thing is enormous!!

Its not that heavy, but it's also not full of batteries. The thing runs on 6 (SIX) AA batteries. Thank goodness I have the AC adaptor...!

Gonna uninstall that, and BF2, then reinstall BF2, then Special Forces, THEN patch'em.

Pain in the ass?

Yes.

Worth the two free weapon unlocks if it works?

Also yes.

Not cool, man. Not cool.
So I go to EB Games today, and I ask the guy working there if he knows when Okami is gonna be released.

Been looking forward to it since I reserved it in October. Probably one of the last PS2 games that I'll be looking forward to, other than Black, which comes out in a week.

So I ask the dude, and he types some stuff into the computer.

"June." He tells me.

JUNE.

It was SUPPOSED to be March!!!

So now I gotta about 4 more months on top of the 5 months since October!!

PLUS the 6 or so months from E3 '05 when I first heard about Okami.

That's something like a year I've been waiting for this game.

They're pulling a Gran Turismo, I swear!!

There's something strangely awesome about tearing around town on a motorcycle while busting out stoppies and wheelies.

Into oncoming traffic.

While listening to opera music (or whatever type of music is playing on Double Cleff FM).

World Domination in a Box
Shit.

Been a week already?

C+C The First decade rocks.

But you already knew that.

Got another Broze Star (3rd place in overall scores) and another Purple Heart in BF2. Forget how they phrase the description for the PH, but it's basically a nice way of saying "You had a crappy kill/death ratio. Have a prize." My second PH. Yay!

Ha ha!
so here's the thing: Trillian rocks. No more crappy AIM ads stupid things.

I love how AIM dumped all this crap into my system.

Also started playing Battlefield 2 with the Knightses.

Haven't been playing long but holy shit have there some fucking awesome moments!

Fo'zample:

Rooftop fight with me as a Sniper vs a Medic, an Assault and a support (Machinegunner, also supplies ammo) guy shooting up at me. Kept killing them, but the Medic kept reviving them. So of course I tried to get the Medic, but alas...

Sniping with an Assault Rifle, and getting the kill. Single shot, baby!

Running people down.

Being a co-pilot!

Watching jets dogfight. Damn, they're good...

Fun.

Formula R Legue News: Alpha Team acquires and holds the 20th spot
Alpha Team secured the 20th spot in the ranking today, after defeating Ogre's AC, Gigant 01, twice. The first was normal league match, which Ogre's Arcitect claimed was 'a complete fluke'(See data below). The first match was held in the Vortex Mines arena. After Ogre's first defeat was handed to them by Alpha Team's heaveist AC, Omega Device, Ogre immediately requested a rematch, which Alpha Team's Arcitect was all to happy to grant.

Said the Team's Arcitect, "Ogre's A.I. was laughably bad."

The rematch took place in the Dimcage Town arena, where Matt, Alpha Team's Arcitect used his smallest AC, Interceptor(See data below). After some initial shots were traded, Matt stuck to the high ground and pummeled Gigant 01, which seemed unable to reach the lighter AC.

As fans of Alpha Team know, Matt is a highly irregular Arcitect, preferring to remotely pilot his ACs himself, rather than using A.I.(See files, "Battling Without AI-Controlled u-AC?", and, "N/u-AC Background Information")

Linus of BT Wyvern (With whom Matt is friendly rivals with) is rather pleased with these events, having suffered a defeat to Ogre recently. Said Linus, "I'm glad Matt was able to beat Ogre the way he did. Ogre deserves to lose."

Ogre is known for losing control in matches, sometimes going so far as to continue launching attacks on defeated opponents, like they did to BT Wyvern on Tuesday. No official word on what is being done about this.

Alpha Team's next match comes up on next Monday, versus Juvenile's AC Pepper Art. The match is to take plac in Steel Valley, at Leptas Arena. Fans are looking forward to it.

RECENT BATTLES:
Ogre Rematch @ Frontier: Dimcage Town.
Gigant 01 vs. Interceptor
Alpha Team defeated Ogre once more by way of Time Out. A brief firefight broke out at the start of the match, after which Interceptor simply jumped to the tallest building, and proceeded to bombard the heavier AC with Cluster Missiles and sniper fire. Eventually, Gigant closed the distance, but seemed once again unable to comprehend the height difference between itself and the smaller AC. Matt, unable to get a clear shot and unwilling to jepordize his lead, simply watched Gigant 01 repeatedly bump into the structure until the three minutes expired, in much the same as the last match.

"Thier A.I. didn't change at all, and the weapons were exactly the same as the last time. At least Linus tried something diferent at our last fight." Said Matt.

A humiliating defeat, to be sure.

Rank 20 Battle
Alpha Team vs. Ogre @ Steel Valley: Vortex Mine
Omega Device vs. Gigant 01
Ogre was defeated earlier today by Alpha Team. The match lasted the full three minutes. The black and white AC Omega Device immediatly took laser fire from Gigant 01, but quickly dropped to a lower level of the mine. Omega Device then used its Vertical Missiles to damage Gigant. The treaded AC eventually found its way to the edge, at which point Omega Device jumped to the top level, and expended the rest of its missile payload, and watched as Gigant's AI seemed unable to comprehend the terrain.

Afterwords, Diablo, Ogre's Arcitect, had this to say: "Our defeat was a complete fluke. It was bad luck. Had it been any other venue, we would have won. We will request a rematch."

Bad luck, or bad AI? Time will tell..

Rank 21 Battle
Alpha Team vs. Bottom Cluster @ Frontier: Azoy Desert
WarHawk vs. One Shot
Yet another win for Alpha Team. The match took about two minutes, with WarHawk destroying One Shot. Fans know of Matt's strategic use of terrain, and this was no exception. After some initial rifle shots were exchanged, WarHawk jetted behind a sand dune to use it as cover while it assumed its firing stance to use its Linear Gun. WarHawk scored several hits before One Shot closed in, at which point WarHawk used its Exceed Orbit units and Laser Blade to finish the job. Fans were delighted to get some great footage of WarHawk in action.

Rank 22 Battle
Alpha Team vs. Blitzkrieg @ Glacier: Igol Island
Omega Device vs. Hetzer
A very quick match sees Alpha Team taking the 22nd spot. As soon as the match began, Omega Device switched to its Vertical Missiles, and bombarded Hetzer, which was unable to out manuver the warheads. Unusal for a hover type.

"It happens." Said Franz of Blitzkrieg. "We aren't sure it was an AI glitch or a mechanical failure, but we are looking into it." The arcitect was in good spirits.

This is the quickest match for Alpha Team thus far, the timer having stopped at just under 30 seconds!
