Does anyone have any information about Project Wonderful or Comicspace? Have they actually been useful for promotion or bringing in a tiny bit of income? I've been out of the webcomic loop for some time and am seeing these things on a lot of people sites, but don't know much about them.

Also... MoonDog. Wrote and thumbnailed a new Moon story, so I don't find my hands empty when the current one ends. Finished the art on page one too. I want to do it digitally this time, but am finding that my computer may be on it's last legs. Sketchbook (which I'm using to draw the comic) runs incredibly slow at high resolutions. I'd love to get a laptop next time around, but any new purchases will have to wait till next year. I'm actually really happy with how it came out though, so I'm looking forward to posting it.

New non-Moon art will arrive eventually, when I get my act together. My websites really out of date too. Blech.

Happy Halloween!

In honor of the holiday, I subjected an old sketch of Moon a fan asked me for a few years back to a coloring job. Also, comic update goodness.

Saw The Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D the other night. I love the design work in that, but I have to say I was disappointed in the actual 3Dness of the thing, or with the lack thereof. Either it's not a movie that really lends itself to the gimmick or someone didn't try hard enough in the execution. Also, the friggin' Ziegfeld charged an extra $2.00 for some crappy 3D glasses. I don't need a pair to keep! Recycle the damn things and give me my money back. What a waste. My inner treehugger was pretty pissed.

Peeking Out

Hi guys, it's been awhile. Like a whole year or so. Holy crap, how the hell did that happen? Stupid life always getting in the way of my internet addiction. Truthfully, things have been crazy on the homefront and my hermitic tendencies flared up in full force. I'm not saying everything's perfectly peachy, but I started to miss everybody.

I'm trying to get back into sketching again, so art posts will be have to wait until I come up with something that doesn't make me violently hate it. It feels like all I've drawn for the past year are dancing letter animals. Even then, I might just keep this LJ for brainfarts and commenting on friend's journals since I'm thinking of setting up one of those nifty blogspot sketchamathingies everyone's got these days. All I've got for you right now is confirmation that I'm not dead and a newly updating MoonDog.

Take a deep breath and... baby steps.
