Hey everyone! I'm finally taking the time to write our little engagement story... mainly because its just so dang funny! Oh mind you this was Lance's birthday!
So the day started off late. Lance and I were supposed to be out by 9am and we didn't even leave till after 11am or so. We were both extremely tired and slept in. It really messed up our nice day! So anyways Lance and I finally hit the road and it was one long drive out to Ocean Shores. We were both hungry....and well me more so since I wasn't able to grab anything for breakfast.
Once we finally reached Aberdeen we stopped to eat and pick up some food. We also picked up the movie "Call Waiting" or whatever its called. lol From there we hit the road again! I think it was about another 30min drive out there. Along the way we got a little lost because they're fixing up the roads and there was a bunch of detours. lol We finally figured it out and headed the correct way. Once we got to Ocean Shores I showed Lance how we could just drive right up on the beach. He thought that was the coolest thing ever! It was really cute and we were just SO excited to finally get there!
We pulled up a few feet from the water! I thought that was so awesome! Both of us took off our shoes and ran out onto the beach. I ran right into the water while Lance followed but ran back out! LOL he has some issues with freezing water. It was really funny. We both decided that we should go get a hotel room so we could change and get situated. Drove around a bit and then decided on Quality Inn. Lance wanted to stay there mainly because they had miniature golf. lol The other reason was because they had a room with a jetted tub in the room. So we ended up getting that. I sorta feel though he did it because of what he was going to do later on!
Lance and I quickly got our stuff into the room then got our swimsuits on and headed out to the beach. Not going to lie it was *BLEEPIN* freezing! Lance did some skim boarding while I took photos of it. Then decided I wanted to try some boogie boarding. Yeah I didn't get to far before I ran back in. LOL It was COLD! Lance ended up taking it and then ran out and tried catching some waves. Didn't work too well because he didn't get out far enough and he wasn't about to go further. LOL He was freezing and after a few tries got out. I took it again and ran back out. This time I went further and tried catching some waves. Still didn't get far enough but didn't want to risk getting pulled out... plus did I mention it was FREEZING?! lol
I ran towards Lance after I figured out I could catch any good waves. We were walking back to the car when Lance said "You should get on the board and I'll pull you" I said OK! lol Supposedly he was kidding but I did it anyways. O M G! It was SO cold and I ended up screaming a few times. lol It was fun though Lance was pulling me ashore. I decided that was it for me and got out. Lance however wanted to skim board more and so continued. I got some good videos of him and a few of him "junking" himself. lol It was so funny!
After that we both went back to the hotel, showered off, then filled up the jetted tub and jumped in it. Oh my it was so nice! lol Not gonna lie a little weird with swimsuits on. After a while I got pretty hot and we decided to get out and get ready for dinner. After that though I think from the shock of the cold water I was drained of energy and just felt sick and tired. I told Lance I needed to take a nap and he was a little iffy about that. But I did and he ended up sleeping as well. LOL I knew he would.
After an hour, I think, we got up and ready for dinner. Went across the hotel to a little pizza diner. We thought it was closed because NO ONE was inside. haha It was just us in there which looking back is actually really cute! The pizza there was SO yummy. We quickly ate though because he wanted to catch the sunset. I told Lance if he wanted to catch it we needed to go NOW. We oddly headed back to the hotel room and while I went inside to get some things taken care of Lance was in the car talking with someone on the phone. (MY parents!)
Once he got off the phone I told him we needed to go NOW because we'd be missing the sunset! We quickly grabbed some stuff. He was waiting for me to get out of the room for him to grab the wooden heart with the ring. Finally we got everything and left quickly. We jumped in the car and took off for the beach. We drove to the area that Lance really wanted to be at but sadly someone took over it and built and bonfire. So we continued our drive. He was like "What the heck?! People get off my beach!" I told him not to worry yet. Like I've stated I had NO clue what he was about to do!
We stopped at one area and decided to get out and take some "pro" photos. We did that for most of the remaining sunset. Walked down the beach and played with some birds. There was some weird birds...very little that walked very fast. lol Cute little things. Wish it was a little brighter to get some good shots. After that we decided to head back to the car and drive down further.
Lance found an area that was free of people and a cool tree root bag/log. He got out pretty quickly and ran over to the thing. Again I thought nothing of it! I got my little cam and tried taking some photos with the flash since it was getting pretty dark. I noticed though that when I took it it had a lot of dust partical or something in the way. I tried many different ways of taking the photo and still had them in the way. It was seriously so weird! Lance told me to come over near him and he took the camera and took some photos himself. Oddly enough he got nice shots and not the weird ones I was getting.
After that Lance dragged me to go sit on the log. Cool I thought.... still not knowing what was going on. We started talking about things and I guess supposedly Lance set me down right next to the wooden heart that he made himself. Being that it was dark I had NO clue it was even next to me! Lance did his best to make it known it was there. He broke some branches around the log area so I could "lay down" but I told him "Noooo! Its too creepy to do that" Lance's thought (AHHHH what now?!) Lance moved me closer to the heart... again still didn't know it was there. Just his luck though a stick poked my foot and he grabbed it and started smacking the area where the heart was.
FINALLY! I saw it and said "Oh wow someone left a heart here!" Lance played it off... "Oh wow thats really kewl!" His thoughts (OMG FINALLY SHE GETS IT) lol I glanced over it and Lance grabbed it quickly because he thought since it was dark that I wouldn't be able to figured out where the plug to get the ring out was. So he takes it and opens it up. I could see there was a little area that could have had a note or something. He grabs my hand and tells me to hold it out to get whatever is inside it. I say "EWWW!!! NO! I don't know where's its been, whats inside it!!" LOL!! Lance just about died then. He goes to try to get the ring out and it gets stuck...finally gets it out and I'm like "OMFG its a RING! O_O;;;;" Lance got down on one knee said some things I can't remember and asked me to marry him. I actually at 1st said maybe and after a few minutes I told him "Lance you know what the answer is.... Of course I'll marry you!!"
After that we did lots of kissing, hugging, and took some photos. Then we played with some glow in the dark balls I got him for christmas and then did some star gazing before we headed back to the hotel room. From there I of course called my parents and told them the news and all normal engagement life got crazy!
Once that was over Lance and I watched the creepy movie "Missed Call". Such a weird movie! Once that was over we watched some funny kitty movies then went to bed.

Yep thats right! On the 29th of September of 2007 I got my horse! He is gorgeous, and his name is currently Royal. You can find out some info about him here Not only is he "palomino" he is a very unique color gene...Champagne .
Anyways I'm still in lots of shock as this whole thing seriously feels like I'm in a dream.. isn't supposed to happen. Not only that I am now scrambling around a bit to raise some needed funds to help support my horse.

I had the amazing experience of being able to photography someone's Fjord foal.
Its about a week old now and oh so very cute and little. It was amazing because the little one took too me so well. The owner kept saying "Wow! He really likes you!" lol I know part of it had to do with my camera but I guess I have something special that makes little foals attracted it me. Actually with any horse but thats a different story. I think from this, another amazing experience, I really want to push myself towards equine photography.
I love taking photos and I just LOVE horses!

| Ironman Update |

Got back from Electric City yesterday. The place we stayed at was pretty nice. I just now realized I never took any photos of the place *slaps forehead*
Anyways my Dad's Ironman was on Saturday. Got up at 5am to help him out and such. It was FREEZING! I wasn't prepared for it at all and it was so hard for me to photography anything since my hands were so numb. Luckily there was a tiny little shop that just happened to be selling gloves and hats. So I got those and things were much much better!
My dad did really well on the swim, actually everyone did fantastic on the swim. It might be because the swim course was a bit too short. =/ The bike part of the race was a bit iffy, my mom, bro and me waited near the bike/run transition to wait for him. It took a couple of hours to the point where we were starting to get nervous. But he made it and it was another couple of hours before he finished the race.
Haha it was really sweet when I saw my dad come around the coner near the finish line. Got my camera ready only to have the damn thing act up!!! OMG nearly chucked the thing on the ground. LOL it sucked so bad cuz I had been waiting forever to get the shot of him running in and of him crossing the finish line. Oh well....next time?
Anyways my dad finished the race! YAY!! He came in @ 19th place out of 80 people that did the race.

Ok lets just get this little rant out of the way.
Bleh I'm not really enjoying the new layout... ok I lie there are a few features I really do like but the rest of it. ...I swear they stole it from sheezyart! The huge fonts are annoying, the huge spaces between some things like journals and comments are annoying as well. I'm also very sad that I can't welcome new people to dA It used to be located undert Today but that doesn't exist now. =/
One thing I just can't stand about this change is the message break down M, C, N, etc Yes we've got D, C, N but I just can't stand not knowing what are true comments and what are favs/watches. Luckily I've got a little script that alerts me and still does the message breakdowns.
It really is a nice layout but they've got some major work.
-font size
-navigation
-msg breakdown
-random space
-adding back the "add comment" <-didn't realize the importance of this feature until this new layout
I hear that they've also allowed everyone to add thumbnails to their journals! So thats a huge bonus lol

The dream I had this morning was all of that plus something awful came into the castle after me. But it was a spirit or something not visible to anyone's eyes...not even his nor mine. I could just feel it but there was nothing I could do to hide from it. Whatever it was ends up entering my body and was slowly killing me. The man with me somehow ends up saving me and the dream ends with me in his arms.

So I'm highly concidering AI again. But I'm still not quite sure... Does anyone go and if so can you give me some info about it? I 1st thought about going for web design but now I'm greatly thinking about photography.
Anyways some info on today.
Had my dance performance and I was so dang nervous about it but of course when I got on stage and performed all that went away and I danced my little heart out! =D Everything for me went pretty well especially the ending. The ending I was having problems with but it was awesome!! My sister took pics of me. Hopefully they turned out decent. Felt a little bad for her because her partner didn't show so she didn't get to dance but she's dancing for another group which will perform on tuesday. Oh man I'm nervous about swing because I'm not so good at that one. =( So wish me luck!
Its a 4 day weekend er or was somewhat. We have Pioneer day on monday so we get it off. LOL pretty funny but hey no school! I'm liking it.

Guess what guys?! lol I just got back from the Jim Brickman concert that my college held. AHH it was so frigin awesome!! After the concert I got to met Jim Brickman and the other two singers. Hahaha that part especially ruled. They're all such awesome people and they seemed to really enjoy our college. One because we're so spirited and two because nearly every single person plays the piano!! LOL Jim thought we were joking about it but he doesn't realized how many mormons actually do play.
Twas an awesome experience!
Yesterday was really fun too. Finally got to go star gazing! Before that we, room mate and I, went over to our FHE bros' apt because Quinn wasn't ready yet. When we got there they were playing Mario Kart. Finally they finished their game and Quinn went and got ready. I then played agaisnt Jesse who only beat me once. I ended up winning the game LOL Poor thing. Lets just say I rule! Quinn was finally ready after the game but forgot/remembered that he had some church thing he needed to do. So we ended up waiting longer. It wasn't until about 11pm that we actually got out and went star gazing.
It was very awesome! Saw many shooting stars...one huge one even! It was in the North -Eastern sky... anyone else see it? Around 12am the moon rose and it was GORGEOUS!! That was also about the time we left. Can't really star gaze with the moon out. lol
Hope everyone has been having a good weekend so far. I know I have!!

Mood::  worried/bored
So its the last day before I have to head back to school for a new block...and what is Angie doing?! She's still in bed working on photography and its nearly 2pm. Seriously what the heck?! I should be out doing something! Sadly I'm not sure what to do though... I would like to go to the ocean but its way too late for that to happen.
Yesterday I was going to go down to Log Boom park but I was so exhausted it sort of scared me. I was trying to work on my photography but my eyes kept closing and I just said forget it I'll get some rest. I also mention that I was going to go down to log boom park but it was probably best I didn't. Might have fallen asleep if I drove...
Anyways... so yes its the day before and like I already said I dont have a clue as to what to do. I hear Chris is at Orcas Island lol makes me want to go but not because he's there. Would have been fun to rent one of those cabins at the YMCA camp. Such a beautiful place and many opts for great photos. Hopefully that boy took his camera. Sort of makes me upset he gives all these excuses about how he doesn't have time for photography yet he does. He's got talent thats he's just wasting!! Grr!
I'm starting to get a bit nervous with my other Chris (Cúran). I haven't heard from him in a LONG time. I believe the last time was on june 22! Eep! Not good at all. I've been bad myself in that I haven't been writing emails like I said I would! Grr I hate myself cuz I always do that! Will try extra hard to get that dealed with. I also need to send someone else a letter... actually a few people need letters x.x
On another somewhat random note....
I don't know what to do with my elven-dreams.net site. I love it to death but I'm just not using it at all. I've got other more imporant sites like silivrenwolfphotography.com that need attention that I haven't quite given enough of. I've used LJ a lot more for my 'blogs' I like how you're able to control most of what people see.
If anyone has any ideas about elven-dreams.net please let me know. I might just sell it!

| Oh man... |

Well I stayed up last night chatting with some guys. Also talked with Quinn a lot. haha he's one crazy boy. lol
But yeah chatted with two guys from ldsmingle. I'm starting to hate that site more and more each day. It really seems like there are only jerks/very creepy guys on that site. Meh it figures right?? Well one guy seems pretty nice which is great. The other guy that I talked with was just very creepy...trying to make me give my # out to talk with him via phone.
Tells me my name is beautiful and that I am also... I thank him and he gives out his #. So of course I have to ask why he did that. He tired to go into the crap about trusting and such... just want to be friends. So I ask whats the deal with telling me I'm beautiful and then giving out your # if you just want to be friends. He then started acting like a jerk towards me and I ended up just blocking and deleting his name from my list. Today he sent me an email apologizing for it. I'll send him a reply thanking him for that but that I'm not interesting in being friends at all.
Anyways so today I got up and went with my mom to do some water type aerobics. OH MAN was that ever a work out!! It was hard doing it since I haven't been working out. But it wasn't so bad once I got out. I however started to be in pain after walking a bunch in downtown seattle. Towards the end of our journey my right calf *really* started to hurt. It tightened up so bad that I seriously thought something was going to rip. hehe Its still pretty tight but its not hurting so much since I'm not putting much pressure on it =)
Took a lot of photos... well maybe not a lot but many of seattle. Mainly the market area and bits of the waterfront. I'm really excited to see how my photos turned out. I still have much to work on before I can check those out. So behind on photography all thanks to my finals x_x
Well I'm tired and its finally super hot in my room. I'm off to bed...bleh was planning on working on much needed photos for a friend. But I need sleep... ugh did I mention allergies suck like no other?!

| Home & Dead... |

Well I just finally got home...back to good ole Bothell. Man this drive was just brutal on me. I actually slept in the car I was so tired! Let me tell ya I like *never* sleep in the car. I'm guessing I did this time because of major stress from finals and lots of lack of sleep.
I'm probably going to end up quiting my job because my body just can't take the getting up at 3am. Pfft I usually go to bed then!! Bad I know...and thats why I probably should quite. Next block I'm extremely booked with classes. Ha I'll seriously end up in a hospital or something.
Anyways finals...WOW can you say failure?! Yeah pretty much that ='s me. I did so awful this time. Nearly cried because my scrapbook wasn't done. Arrived late to class...no scrapbook, did horrible on the test. I should say both tests. Oh man I've probably failed field bio. Who knows maybe God will have a lot of mercy for me. Maybe Bro. Carter will still understand that I knew most of the material. Especially since on the trail rides he'd point to a bush and say "whats that?" 99.5% of the time I got it right. I just feel so awful I let him down like that. In the end it was my fault.
On my scrapbook, my unfinished turned in late one, I left a note telling him I was very sorry for not having it finished. Also told him I didn't except a grade and was just turning what I did have in because I wanted him to see the photos I took. I spent a lot of work on the photography part which sadly in the end costed me not finishing the book.

So guess what?!!!!! I got another DD this time for Bellesaria. The photo is called Together Really touched me and it totally desereved that DD!!

So I'm feeling down again. I don't exactly know why...maybe its due to the curse, lack of sleep, lack of love?
I dunno... but yeah. Feeling down and lonely. Missing my kitty who I can cuddle with... missing friends esp Cúran and Chris.
Didn't go to work today because I was just exhausted and not feeling well at all. Had another memory of Chris... I don't exactly remember now what memory it was of but I started crying. Its funny how I was alert in my sleep and could tell this. I'm sure there are times when I don't realize I'm doing this since I have many 'flashbacks'.
Anyways... so yes I need to head to bed because I've got to get up in a few hrs. *sigh* what did I get myself into??
