For the past couple of weeks I have also thought about finally getting a new Tattoo. ( Tattoo's )
Now, 3 years later I feel that it's time to get another one. I actually wanted to get one done in February of 2007, to mark the Moment that I finally got a job again, after over a year of being jobless. But I had no money left at that time, so I had to postpone it… :( Sure, I also need to save up for this now and that's not so easy with most likely being jobless again from November on, but oh well… I'll find a way. There have been so many Ideas in my mind and thus I also tried to design something on my own, based on these Ideas… ( Designs )

I am a total Book nerd, so I've certainly read more than 6 out of those … but there are still so darn many good books missing that I've read. I could easily score a count of 80 to 100. 8D

Yay, I can strike another Movie off of my watchlist - seen "Nim's Island" just yesterday on its opening day.
Shoot me, it is yet another movie that I did watch despite of my actual strong dislike for Gerard Butler... Damnit, that guy manages to convince me more and more. O_o
We were stuck in cinema with a load of Kids, it felt like we we're the only grown-ups in between. Thus why I can't really relate if this movie is fit for ALL adults too or only for adults like me who still like kids movies. *lol*
( ”What on earth are you doing?” – “I'm just having a nervous breakdown!” )
Overall, this movie can be described as a playful and laugh out loud adventure comedy with a touch into fantasy - I definitely recommend it.

Past Friday I have been at the Dress Rehearsals for this years play "Winnetou and his friend Old Firehand". It's been the first time that I've been at this kind of Rehearsal, I was curious as to how it worked. Unfortunately we weren't allowed to take Pictures, so that I'm just gonna review my opinion on the actors for now and leave a Picspam post for my later visit. ;)

Aww, I love the weather!! ♥ It's raining hard every few minutes and the smell … ooh, how I love the smell after a rainstorm! Everything's so green and fresh and just lively!
And damn, time flies! Haven’t I just posted the May’s BotM? O_o Anyhow, since I like to keep things neat and tidy, here we go. *rolls eyes* Again. ( June’s Best of the Month )
Oh my, I went shopping-crazy yesterday. Since I have another wedding coming my way in mid August, since I can’t go in my own bridal dress and since I hate shopping and go depressed in public, I had to order a wide selection of dresses online. Who cares that the shopping chart stopped at 900 €? O_o Not a big deal because most of the stuff won't fit and is gonna be send back anyways… Why does it have to be so darn hard for me to find something decent, that also looks nice and is comfortable? :(
And I'll go to a medieval Spectaculum/Festival tomorrow, so expect some Pictures in the days to come! :)

I saw this one yesterday, quite on an involuntary basis… :@ I saw “Signs” first and was attracted, but since “The Village” I actually refuse to go into a Shyamalan (am I even spelling this right?!) Movie. I dunno … usually I’m not easy to freak out, but he manages that very well. Jona promised me something if I would go along and he got me there… So, as usual a review, even if I didn’t quite like it. To give you a quick scoop, this movie is about a family on the run from a HUGE crisis, supposedly of natural origin.
( ♣ We've sensed it. We've seen the signs. Now ... it's happening. ♣ )
To make a facit of my own opinion - "The Happening" is a failure on the most basic and important of cinematic levels. It does nothing to win, earn and deserve the audience's emotional and intellectual trust. It doesn't employ image as its main storytelling tool.

I may be a week late, but I saw the 4th Season Finale just yesterday and had to chew a lot on my guesses. Srsly, I just dunno whether I love or hate this show. This mind-boggling 2hrs episode left me with a goddamn cliffhanger as huge as the Strait of Gibraltar! By the 1st Season I thought to know what Lost is all about, but now? ¬_¬ C’mon, instead of answering some of the most dire questions, it just spilled a whole ( cornucopia of new ones! ) Someone dare to tell me how I am supposed to survive an 8 month hiatus?! O_o
And while we are already at Lost full force, I have a Survey again, this Time nicked from Laura prettybutt - the ( ABC's Lost Survey. )

Wow, I was anticipating this Movie so much! I have always loved the old “Indiana Jones” Movies, so that this 4th Part was a definite Must-see. I went with Mathias and I found myself constantly on the edge of my seat, even though I didn’t understand much acoustically, as always… *shrugs* To say it in very few words, the story resolves about Indiana Jones on the heels of a legend about some crystal skulls, supposedly of extraterrestrial origins.
( ”You are a teacher?!” – “Part time.” )
So, as you can see, I dug the film. You’ve been waiting for it? It was worth the wait. With the right care and intentions, they have brought back an American icon from the dead and still have him own the competition.

First off, it’s official – I ♥love♥ Alex upcoming Solo stuff! So far I really refused to listen to any of the Clips and listening to the live Vids of his solo tour didn’t gave me much spoilers either, due to too much frantic screaming. But this one here? ( I should have let you go when I saw that it was over in your eyes… )
Somebody tell me why I always go in for the movies that have received, like, the worst reviews – and come out finding it funny and by far not that bad? I wanted to see this one when it was first mentioned and still wanted to give it a go when the bad reviews made their rounds all over. And I don’t regret it at all. It is, said in very few words and spoilers, about two very different people encountering problems in their personal lives.
( ♣ The topping I wanted on my popcorn ... I know the box said it's peanut butter, but you guessed it. What I really want is sweaty Jack's balls flavour. ♣ )
For whatever its worth, this movie is a must-see. It’s entertaining, engaging, and a perfect movie to give your day a break.

Actually we stumbled over this movie just by accident and were aiming to watch something entirely different. Sometimes I’m glad that things just don’t turn out they way they were supposed to – this is one piece of a jewel! It is about an American soldier unable to cope with the realities of daily life after he returns from his tour of duty in Iraq. I’m sure this movie will stay with me for at least several weeks, with its searing pain and a wrecked, unforgettable beauty. It is harrowing and emotionally draining, certainly packs a punch.

Overall a spellbinding movie and I’m sure you cannot watch and not be affected by the emotional impact it has long after leaving the theatre. If you have considered watching “In the Valley of Elah”, this movie is an even better go. It leaves you wondering just how bruised and broken the vets who come home truly are…

Yesterday has been an impressive day… Jona, Mathias and me went to Kiel for the afternoon and evening. First some nice Dinner at a Korean Restaurant and we all had Currychicken with various vegetables, because none of the other stuff was described well enough to know what we’d be eating. *lol* After that we lined up at the entrance for the ”Apassionata” in the huge Sparkassen-Arena (stupid one who renamed it from “Ostseehalle”), a stunning kind of equestrian Theatre. The Horse Gala has already attracted more than 2 Million Ppl across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The Theme is titled “Grand Voyage”, leading around the world to the different horse races and their respective specialities, all surrounded by specially composed music and dances. I have heard so much of it and seen so many beautiful trailers across local TV beforehand that I was really, really excited to see it live… Here you can have a ( ♠ Review of the entire Show, including Pix & Vids! ♠ )
On another note – I wonder if LeAnn is pregnant and just not yet telling us… She usually is very slender, but on her current Stadium Tour I’ve seen her in three different outfits and each time it looked like she’s developing a belly or trying to conceal it… Or she’s just chosen the wrong outfits three times. *shrugs* But it would be awesome if she were! ♥

Yet another Movie to get off my Watchlist ... it feels like I'm proceeding at a good rate with all my Must-see's this year... :D
Some people called this a 'mindless film of the week', but actually it wasn't that bad... Again, I'm not saying that it's very good either. All I actually went in for were the two main actors - I have loved Kate Hudson & Matthew McConaughey together in "How to lose a Guy" and wanted to see the terrific chemistry again!
( ”Don't even think about it.” – “What?” – “Don’t what me. You know what.” )
Overall, it's a cute/silly movie that gives you nothing new storytelling-wise, but it's worth watching just alone to ogle Kate (Men) and Matthew (Women).

Ahoy… My mind has taken temporary leave and right behind a 12 hrs workday I put another late night at the cinema, followed by writing this review at currently 1:43 am… O_o As you can see by the time of this post, I fell asleep right after that and just got back to posting it now instead of last night already. ThankGodforRedBull! ;) I can’t strike this off my Watchlist, as this has already been in cinemas when I compiled that list. Here we go with Movie Review #3 now – a funny comedy called “The Game Plan”. I mainly went in for Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson because he totally convinces me with each and every movie he makes. Pretty surprising taken that he’s originally a wrestler with not much sense for humour. *lol*
( “My Mom says that she fell in love with you because you played guitar and you sounded like Elvis.” – “Really? *insert Elvis voice* Well, what do you think?” – “I think my Mom was tone deaf and you sound more like an injured moose.” )
I admit, I liked this movie. A lot. It pulled at my heart strings, even managed to bring a few tears to my eyes. It's a harmless piece of fluff and Dwayne is such a likable lug, you can't help but root for him. It's intended to be fun, goofy, light-hearted sappy silliness from Disney – and at that, the movie does a great job!
