Um
Is this some kind of joke? I may support Obama, but that doesn't mean I look for every chance to bash McCain supporters. To be truthful, I think they would both do an excellent job running our country (I just believe Obama would do a bit better).
That disclaimer aside, the following is a direct quote from musician Pat Boone during an interview about the presidential race:

"Sen. Obama, I think, showed his lack of judgment by not choosing the best-qualified woman that he could have chosen as his running mate, one who had already proven able to get 18 million votes. He passed, and he took Joe Biden, who has been in the Senate longer than McCain, which doesn't bespeak change. Meanwhile, McCain chooses a highly qualified, attractive woman, and I think it just shows that the "Big O," or, as I like to think, the "Big Zero," has missed his golden chance. I think he will lose because of this."

Now, allow me to bold the parts that bug the crap out of me:

Point A - I deeply admire someone who can choose a future running mate based on qualifications and ability to support the main canadite's weaknesses best. On the other hand, I deeply disgust any person that makes such an important decision about everyone's future for a temporary gain in votes and nothing more.

Point B - Obama COULD HAVE gotten those 18 million Hillary votes, but he didn't get distracted by vote counts and instead looked at who was the ACTUAL right choice.

Point C - From all I have heard thus far, Sarah Palin is nowhere NEAR highly qualified. She hasnt even served a full term as governer yet, not to mention she has a new baby to occupy much of her time (or 2 if she's going to take care of her daughter's baby), and I just now learned there's some kind of abuse of power charges she's currently facing in Alaska.

Point D - The fact that this guy suggests attractivity and sex as part of the credentials of VP is disgusting. It also suggests that McCain is simply going for women voters.

Final - If everyone has the backwards logic you do, then yeah Obama will lose. I am only hoping they dont.

Yeah it was pretty simple, really. Anyhow I ended up wearing a Mario costume for Celebrity day for spirit week during school today ^.^ You wouldn't believe how many "Mario!!"s I got from people, it actually started getting on my nerves... -_-'' So Julia (she had on a giant orange cowboy hat today... XD) and I are officially signed up to a homecoming group including: Sean, Jon, Steven, Efrain, Macy (yea...), Jessie, Jes, McKenzie, Julia, and I. We are going to do something at 6:30 on saturday... but I cannot tell -- it be a secret >:D

I found out what Sairan's secret project "S" was... XD Alas, I shall not tell. Although it wasn't very hard to squeeze out of him...
I'll know your name before you can say "2qetrshgfsdhgfshduigorg464575e6n9e4g0z0[8xgd!! Einsteigenmuchasfenwasnx!!", Sairan! >:D

And nice spice girl costume Kaila :)

Jewels :)
Julia got me $25 in movie gift certificates for my birthday. I didn't think anything of it until last night...
Do you think she was sending me a message? =)
So we talked a lot today during lunch and such, got some good discussion going and talked a little about homecoming this Saturday. I mentioned that I had those gift certificates and didn't know what to do with them, and she kind of played along saying "yeah, I don't know what you could POSSIBLY use them for...". She was forcing me out. Just as we were walking down to her class I spat it out just before we got there. Haha you should've seen what a nervous wreck I was. Anyway we're going to see Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, although I still need to get a time and date for it... otherwise... =DDDDDD!!!

I got a flat screen :D
Well... temporarily. My dad borrowed it from work so it's only for a few years... but that's good for me :D
... You can change the bg color of entries on these? :O!
Anyhow. I KNOW I saw Carlie today, yet I regret only a little not saying hello to her. I later slept for 3 hours after school (I know...) and dreamed of her once more. Yes, I have also dreamed of Macy and Kay.
I also talked to Kay and Macy and I think I may have seen Bre. So maybe it is the second full day.
I still await the first Complete Day, in which I have a conversation with all.
I know, it's retarded. We all need something to keep ourselves entertained.

I decided today that I will someday write a long essay (by my OWN WILL! D:) being the longest biggest most vile rant and rave about everything I think Smoky Hill is doing wrong. The largest sections will be about the lunch line and school funding.
(Believe it or not, this entry was written over the course of a few hours XD)

-The First Full Day-
A day I did not expect to happen this year. A day in which I see every person at school that I care about or am good friends with that I pleasure in seeing. I saw and talked to Macy, Kay, Bre, Lizzy, and yes I saw Carlie... I think. I also formally met Kaila ([info]kayakpride711) for the first time (o.o.... tall... *looks up helplessly*), which was none more than a head-bobbing greet XD. I said hello to Bre for the first time since school started, for some unknown odity there is a wall forming between us... I don't know why. On occasion I see Kay pass my science fiction room and cling onto the train, as did I today. She was VERY happy today, which is great to see. A lot of times she can get so depressed it just kills me. As I said previously, the key to my happiness is seeing and associating with the ones I love, so yes today was a very good day ^.^
Invitations went okay, I suppose. I've crossed out too many people from the list to count by now (7 / 15... ouch), so I'm pretty much just asking any friend I come across :P I found out at lunch that Julia couldn't come because of work... how ironic. Jessie says she might have work, but she'll see if she can get it off.
The top 3 people on my list can't make it. Kay - My closest friend ever, but she's making up for it. Macy - My most recent and crushing... crush :P. Julia - My homecoming date. That sucks eggs.
I heard from a little bird O_^ that there was a big mormon group around the junior lockers in the mornings. Haha nobody tells me anything XD Anyway I decided to check it out and surely enough, the whole gang was there. Jon, McKensie, Steven, Macy, and almost the entire Piney Creek ward youth, lol. And just as the little birdie said, she was there as well.

Woopie!
I spent my entire 5th period copying the Master Calendar for the PA web site onto it. This site could take a while ^_^;; Eh lets see... We finished watching "Brothers N Da Hood" today in Film. That movie is horrible. If you cant take dramatic violence and heartbreak, do NOT watch it. It does have a lot of hidden morals and messages, though. I went on a photo spree at the beginning of lunch for the website... then ate lunch with Jes, Efrain, and that other girl... Anyways I pretty much slept through math, and then Jazz choir was fairly boring except the awesome scat session we had at the end.

I finally decided to have my birthday this Friday, seeing a movie and going to Nickle-A-Play :D Although I've already crossed 5 names off the list because they couldn't come which include: Macy, Kay, Victor, Zach, and Missy. Missy doesn't watch PG-13 movies for her personal reasons (as do I with with profane words)... don't ask me how she can survive in that kind of world. I heard there have only been 2 PG movies released this year... sickening. The next time a G movie comes out that's NOT Disney or a childrens movie, I will jump for joy. Anyway, you may have noticed Kay in that list...
I sent Kay an email invitation to my birthday yesterday. She IMed me after school and (just as I expected) that she couldn't. Although, being my best friend, and me being hers, she said she'd make it up to me and take me out to lunch on Saturday, just me and her like old times. This struck me as more than she could have done at my birthday. Awesome. So only for a moment my party seemed 49% worst, and then turned 70% better, to put it metaphorically to the last entry.

Gotta go, its dinner time. :D

Oh man...
Macy can't come to my birthday this friday... That alone makes my party 49% worst, and my day 80% worst.
I have a bad feeling about Kay being able to come. She couldnt come to Cabaret because of work, and she seems so busy I can never get a hold of her... If she can't make it, that'll make my birthday 49% more worst. The other 2% is all of the other friends, the cake, the presents, and the fun. My closest friends being there is all that really matters to me... If they dont show I may just cancell the entire thing and just do a closed family party.
Dangit that's so depressing. I found out that I can't do it on Saturday either because that's when mom is doing hers...
I feel reaalllyyy sick right now... and not physically.

Why else would my mom mention Macy as the first example of who I can invite to my birthday party, when I didn't even tell her who I went to the stake dance with?
