Now for an update in my adventures in WoW land. lol. Yeah, I've been playing a lot whenever I have some spare time. Even more so now that they have those stupid vanitiy 'spirit of competition' dragon pets. Which are utterly pointless to the game play but I'm darn determined to lvl up my Shaman and Mage to get one regardless of this fact. lol

Though before the new obsession, I was doing BGs with my draenei hunter. Which that class also gives me something to obsess over. Pets. lol. I was noting that so many many people have the same pets. Cats are everywhere. So many have the ghost saber. Which it is cool and rare considering there is only one place and way to get it... but when everyone has one, it sort of loses the novelty a little. While I chose not to trade it in just yet, I decide I needed something different, something one doesn't see every day in Stormwind or BGs.

( It was then I knew what I had to do )

Did a little bit of clean up on the old friends list. Sorted through some of the inactive and deleted accounts. So basically if you haven't used your journal in forever or perhaps we just don't talk much or don't have as much in common as anticipated, you may find yourself removed. No hard feelings to anyone. Plus, I'd like to add that if I've accidentally delete someone I shouldn't have, do let me know. I'll be happy to add you back.

I knew a brand new trailer for Resident Evil Degeneration was to be released at the San Diego Comicon today. So naturally I had to log into Youtube to see if I could get of glimpse of it for myself... and I am very very happy fangirl




Oh, I so can't wait to see the finished product of this... It doesn't even have release date as far as I know. Just got to sit back and finish waiting it out. At least they gave a slightly less teaserish trailer to enjoy.

Zombies ftw!!!

Hey guys, I totally forgot to mention the other day that I have World of Warcraft now. Little slow, right? I mean it's only been around for what? 4 years now? lol. Fact of the matter is, I wouldn't even have it now if a friend hadn't recently gotten it and brought to the surface of my attention. I mean of course I knew about it... I just never really paid it any mind before.

So anyways, after talking about it and mentioning to my husband that I'd like to give the free trial thing a try and also taking a bit of teasing from it in return. XD On mother's day he went out and bought WoW with the expansion and surprised me with it. Isn't that sweet! My reward for all my selfless mom dedication comes in game form. lol

Anyways, with that said, I just thought I'd poke people here and see if there where any other WoW gamers around. I'm currently questing with a lvl 12 Draenei Hunter. I love having a pet. They are so helpful. I named my Ravager, Bob. hehe. (NS should get that reference XD) However, I'm up for making a new character or two as well, so if anyone doesn't mind hanging out with a noob, I'd be happy to run around and kill stuff with you. Or if your interested in starting a new race or something, maybe we can start at the beginning together. Just let me know. ^_^'

He's just so detailed. Just look at how cool his actual cloth outfit is. No plastic, permanently melded into a single pose type of figure. He's all bendy and articulate. XD And comes with bunch nifty accessories.

Well, it's a rare day when I go off on some sort of lecture like this. One might think that somewhere in hell a snowball is being thrown right about now. lol But I don't know, I felt the urge spew out a rant and ran with it. I somewhat wonder if I'll strike a few nerves. If any repercussions will arise from it. Possibly, but in a way I don't care... and I think that's half the point of it all. Bitch and moan all you want, it won't change my outlook at all. I'm generally quiet and reserved when it comes to a lot of things. Tolerate of others and respectful enough to just shut the hell up when I am irked with something. No need to be a bitch unnecessarily after all. But I'm just so sick of seeing other people trashed talked and it's been happening for so long now. I should have said something sooner... but I guess I just needed that final push to express it.

I actually got my Playstations hooked up. Yes, both of them as my PS2 refuses to play PS1 games. My PS1 is on it's last leg too. I have to prop it on it's side or it won't read the disk. Bleh. So for what reason do I need the PS1. Well the title says it all. I have been on something of a renewed LoK kick and lo an behold an urge to play that old game surfaced. Gah, that style of game is so old but it's so much fun it hear Kain bitch and moan about everything. It's quite fun indeed. I honestly haven't played that game in oh ten years. Yeesh! Well, actually I did play it another time but never got that far with it as that's when my PS2 decided to start rejecting PS1 disks. So anyways, I see a mad gaming spree in my future so don't be surprised If I'm a bit MIA. I'll try not to be but I really want to do some gaming, damn it. It's been a good while since I've done any on consoles.

In other related news, I have a sudden urge to write LoK fanfiction. I sort of thought the little bit of RPing I've been doing lately would quell that urge, but no. It's still there. So much so that I'm a little tempted to resurrect an OLD fanfiction of mine. But it is so terribly fangirly, that I'm a bit embarrassed to do so. Not to mention I would think that my style of writing might have change since that time. It might just be like a totally different author continued where I had left off. I reread that old story last night and now have all these ideas floating in my head. Perhaps I should just try to put together something new. I'm not sure. Guess I'll just wait and see for now and do some gaming. XD

I won't be able to go to the Zombie Walk afterall. It seems they changed the time. In stead of gathering in the morning and doing the walk around noon. (when the convention actually starts) They moved it to late afternoon and I just can't make it now. There's no way I can attend at that time. I don't think words can express how utterly disappointed and pissy I am about this. All I wanted was to have some down time to get out and have a bit silly fun. That doesn't sound like too much to ask for, but apparently it is...

This is sort of randomness... but I was visiting over at the Pangea forum and off-topic was thread on favorite music videos. So I thought I'd share mine here. It's more along the lines of a favorite song rather than video, but the video it's self has some interesting imagery.

It's interesting really how much I love this song despite the nature of it and it's most given interpretation is about abuse. Which I suppose it is to an extent, but I can also read into in a totally different way... You know, Find other interpretations/imagery to associate with it than the obvious. Lyrics don't always have to be taken so literal you know. Besides, one of Tool's common themes is that people need to think for them selves more. Use one's best judgment and quit being another sheep in the herd.

I'm going on a Zombie Walk! I'm going on a Zombie Walk! *happy dance* Woot!

Yep. That's right. Later in the month there is a Horror convention and on the opening day a Zombie walk is scheduled. So what is a Zombie walk? Well it's pretty much what it sounds like. A bunch of zombies walking around. lol. But for a proper definition, I'll quote the Texas Frightmare Zombiewalk page.

"A Zombie Walk is an organized public gathering of people who dress up as zombies. These events usually take place in a Large City or Town, the participants make their way around the city streets and through shopping malls in a somewhat orderly fashion and often limping and gnawing their way towards a local cemetery, movie theater, (or in our case convention.)

During the event participants are encouraged to remain in character as zombies and to communicate only in a manner consistent with zombies (such as grunts, groans and slurred moans calling for "brains".)"

I am so there! It's gonna be so geeky and fun! lol. I've already decided what kind of zombie I'm going to be. I'm gonna wear some of my old scrubs and a stethoscope and be a nurse/medical personnel zombie. Cause we all know hospitals are like one of the worst places you can go to during an outbreak of undead. I mean it's like zombie central. So anyways, I just need to stop by a costume shop for a little makeup and fake blood. If I had more time I might give an attempt to make a S.T.A.R.S uniform or something to wear... cause that would just be cool! hehe.

However, I won't be attending the con itself because I have a different con that I need to go to. The North American Reptile Breeders Conference (NARBC)is the same weekend. Figures, right? No worries though. In fact I just went to this same con last June. So I'm still content from that. Not to mention I was more impressed with the guest panel and events last time than I am this go round.

OMG! I just found the most wonderful thing ever! Biohazard Degeneration. A CG movie based on the Resident evil games featuring Claire and Leon. LEON! Oh damn it's going to be sweet! Couldn't find much info on it, but I did find this one trailer.




I might be stressed out with the whole car being broke down, family visiting from out of state, I'm totally broke and in a few minutes I'm off to drive for an hour so I can paint that crappy house and huff paint fumes all day. But hey, you know what? That just totally made my day. lol. I can't wait to see this movie! It's so gonna rock!

Hi all. Just popping in to say I'm out of here. Not for good. Just for the next two weeks as that's how long it appears it's going to take to have someone come out and get our cable and internet service up and running at the new house. Sucks. Not that I'm going to have a whole lot of free time anyways, but it still sucks.

Making the big move tomorrow and as fate would have it, I'm so freaking sick. I can't stop sneezing and snotting all over the place. >_< Bleh. I have soooo much work to do to. Ah well, just got to straighten up and get stuff done regardless. As tempting as it is to put it off another week... I just have a bad feeling about doing so. So I shall press on and I'll see you all in two weeks. Wish me luck. Hopefully I'll have a more perky and pleasant post upon my return.

Just doing some gecko talk tonight about R. Sarasinorum on a forum and since it's on my mind I thought I'd share some photos.  She is one of my all time favorite geckos.  She may not be that flashy with color, but she totally makes it up with personality.  ^__^  Pics xposted to gecko_fans.

Am I the only one to notice that I Am Legend is just a remake of The Omega Man? I must also express that Will Smith is a terrible choice to follow in Charlton Heston's footsteps. o_<

Oh and while I'm at it, am I the only one to notice the Quentin Tarantino is highly over rated? The man sucks! I just saw Grindhouse not long ago and the movie he did "Death Proof" stunk like feet he idolizes. Sitting through the extremely pointless conversations were painful. They didn't progess the plot at all and they weren't even interesting. *facepalm* Oh, and let's move to regularly scheduled gratuitous foot shots. Hey, I got nothing against fetishes. If you like feet, that's cool. But damn must you put feet in every single movie you ever worked on. Not to mention multiple times in one movie.

I guess I will admit that I did like Pulp Fiction. It was interesting and neat at the time and the pointless conversation about french fries or whatever might have worked in that one movie. But that gimmick gets old and just doesn't cut it these days. New in the 90's but not now.

Oh, but I will go on to say the first Grindhouse movie, Planet Terror was fun. It's had hot chicks, guns, explosions, zombies. It was very cheesy. And some things you just have to kind of overlook like how the heck can that chick shoots a gun she's using as a peg leg. lol. But you're not supposed to think about that and just go with it. ;)

Heh, sort of like Resident Evil: Extinction. You so have got to not over think it and just go Wee! Zombies! That movie has a lot of plot flaws and the whole 'feeding on infected flesh' thing just irks me on some level. But wee! Zombies! Shoot em' in the head!

Woot! It's time for my regularly scheduled Leon fix and naturally I had to share. *grin* Yep, the oh so awesome knife fight. I guess it's sort of spoilerish if you don't want to know how it ends... but at least you can't hear their conversation since it's set to music.



Also I realized this morning while commenting on someone else's LJ theme, that I had not yet changed my 'comment' feature thing. So now that's officially RE4 related as well. Though I might change it later. Not so sure I like it, even though it comes from a rather appealing quote. "Oh, I think you know. The American prevailing is a cliché that only happens in your Hollywood movies. Oh, Mr. Kennedy, you entertain me. To show my appreciation, I will help you awaken from your world of clichés." *giggle* Yes, a very nice quote indeed. Though I might change it to Leon's "Rain or Shine" thing. The man really does say some cheesy stuff. XD

EDIT: Yeah, already changed it. Guess I didn't like it that much after all. Now I'm off to try to be productive somewhere else. Enough goofing off for one morning.

I need a website. I'm trying to take my gecko breeding to the next level and actually have a functioning website for it. Can anyone recommend a place to host the site, get a domain name, and all that good stuff? Oh and idiot proof site builder tools are a must. I so suck at this new-fangled internet stuff. XD

I'm also trying to get prepared for a reptile show in December. I think I'm stressing myself out over it. Got a few preparations to make and inquiries to do before hand. I feel so freaking clueless and once again I'm all by myself in figuring it out. Plus it's kind of bad timing with all the chaos of moving right now. Not to mention I've got some crappy projects to do. Like painting the exterior of the house. >_< Not fun. Yeah, definitely stressing.

Meh, that's all. Not feeling particularly great tonight so I'll just stop here and not overly pout and bitch about stuff.

Just popping in for a quick update. I mainly wanted to apologize for not being all that active around LJ lately. I don't want anyone to think I'm purposely ignoring them. I adore my online fiends. *huggles everybody*

However right now I'm going through some busy times and it's only going to get busier. We finally found a house we like. It's a big house in a good location and we got a hell of a deal on it. The inspection was done the other day and with no major problems... Everything's go. Just sort of waiting for closing to make it all official. So it's pretty safe to say I'm going to be mad busy for a while as I try to get things in order and pack, clean, move, paint, ect. Ugh, so much work!

Regardless of the workload, I'm pretty excited and enthusiastic to get things done and get into the new place. I sort of dread getting reestablished in a new town. Getting my son set up in a new school and all of that. But I'm sure it will work out in the end.

Just thought I'd give a little update real quick. Not much going on really. No news on the house yet.

My Crestie eggs hatched Friday evening though. Two perfect and adorable babies! I have two more eggs that will probably be ready to hatch in another two weeks. I wish I had some pictures to share of them but the batteries in my flash went dead. Oh well.

But I do have a cute picture of four other youngsters. These guys are about 4 months old. Still really tiny. I was trying to round them up for a group shot when I had them out to clean their enclosure, but every time I get one in the container, another was at the edge ready to jump out. lol.
