This is a translation and live report journal maintained by
coika. Feel free to add it to your friends list, keeping in mind I will not be adding any friends here. However if you would like to be regular LJ friends please visit my main journal instead. =D
I translate whatever interests me; usually songs I really like. I also take requests (see below) and will tag them with "requests" accordingly.
RULES
o1. Do not use my translations anywhere without asking first unless I know you.
o2. Feel free to copy and paste them for your own personal reference, however.
o3. Also it's cool to use the live reports on your own website/fansite without asking but please credit me or provide a link back here, thanks!
If you want to post one of my translations on your site/somewhere, just reply here with what translation and where it's going. I'm pretty easy going about it; I just want to be able to keep track of what gets posted where.
REQUESTS
Right now I'm taking SONG TRANSLATION requests. If you'd like to request, please follow these rules:
o1. Comment on this entry with the band/song name.
o2. If you can, provide a scan or text of the KANJI lyrics. If you scan, please make it big and readable. I will not translate from romaji only, sorry.
o3. If you don't have kanji lyrics I will try to hunt them down for you, but sometimes it's hard to find them for old songs and indies bands on the net due to Japanese copyright issues.
o4. It's helpful if you can give me an .mp3 of the song since sometimes artists write one thing in the lyrics and then sing another for poetic license.
o5. Do not request something that has been translated a million times. Please do a search for a translation of the song you want beforehand! Google is your friend.
o6. Only one request per person. After I fulfill your request you can request again.
o7. Please keep in mind I'm busy and don't have time to translate all day. I will try to fulfill requests as fast as I can, though! =D
P.S. There might be some occasional requests that are too difficult for me to translate well. (Like a lot of Miyavi's stuff I don't understand WTF he's saying half of the time but neither do many native speakers.) Please be understanding.
