Anyone joining NaNoWriMo this year?

So I finished D. Gray-Man in a crazy marathon.
That means that my free time was spent watching episode after episode until I collapsed in exhaustion, then I went back to doing the same as soon as I woke up and didn't immediately have class.
Then I went and read the manga up to chapter 174, which is what's available on MangaFox.
I am loving that series; it's full of slashable boys/men, plenty of violence, a good plot and religious elements. 8DDD

Anyone want to throw fic recs, now's the time.
Conditions:
1. Please, no humour and no crack.
2. No het unless it's Road/Allen. I can deal with Allen/Lenalee, but I'm not into reading about them.

In other news, Obama was here on campus earlier today.
I heard some people camped out at 4am to get front row seats.
Then the relatively more sane started going in at 8am.
When was he due to speak? 2:30pm. I have a class at 3pm.
I was like, "Endure 6 hours of crowded mayhem for just 30 minutes of seeing him? I'm not that desperate, kthx."

She's the kind that studies consistently, makes her own notes from class readings, doesn't procrastinate on her homework...yeah. I'd rather watch D-GrayMan than read my business textbooks, lol kthx.

Baked chicken for the first time today. The marinade was good, but I should probably have let it sit for about 24 hours before cooking. I also think I should have removed it from the pan, so that the chicken would be crispy. I like the flavour though. XD
Eating cosmopolitan dinner now. Started with dates. Then I now have celery sticks with bagoong and ranch dressing on the side, chinese onion soup and my baked chicken drumsticks. ^_^

Now that it's over, and I've survived it's crashes, I can finally say that Code Geass is amazing. It had it's REALLY BAD moments, and I'm not going to forget my weeks of WTFLOLtrainwreck, but that, no matter how much it makes me want to kill you, Sunrise/Clamp, was an awesome ending to what you've finally managed to tie into a really good story. So yes, I can rest in peace now, and move on happily to the sheer gay attack that will be Gundam 00 Season 2.

The Oricon stuff I downloaded has some really good stuff, and some really BAD stuff.
On the bright side, it includes some new Laruku~ and a song from Dir En Grey I didn't immediately go GTFO my playlist at. *sparkles* The Yui song is as usual, wonderful song with horrible vocals. Even the substantial voice touch-up she's obviously (obvious if you've heard her live, like on Music Station) done on the recording can't save her. There are also a couple of Japanese oldies-ish songs that I just love, lol. =P

I have mixed feelings about tomorrow's Geass update. On the one hand, I want to stop speculating and finally watch the ending, then move on to Gundam 00 Season 2, which I have been waiting for forever. On the other hand, I am utterly dreading it because I can't help but fear that Sunrise/Clamp is going to screw us all over again and finally crash that trainwreck just as it finally looked like they were back on course. Please, just give us a good SuzaLuluending so I can RIP and get to my gay Gundam goodness with a clear mind.

Now, I shall stop being a hikiko for a day and get out of my apartment for a few hours. Old news, but I seriously need to get a life. =_-
