Yesterday's Muchaburi FTW. Hehehehehehe

Yay? I survived not only the meal (yay for brussels sprouts, even if I had to make another batch myself cuz they didn't make enough *sulks*) but calling the 'rents. I did get to talk to my grandmother for the first time in years, and to talk to my cousin as well.

Anyway, I got:

a watch/bracelet/necklace/earrings set from the in-laws, plus a nice jewellry box to put them in, as well as a jewelled magnetic choker.
a book on alternative health from hubby
a book on digital photography from chibi-kun

I know I got stuffs from Cel coming too. She's such an awesome friend, ne? <3333 (I got her stuff too even if it's not much...)

You know that really annoying little snapshot thingie that's cropped up for links on LJ now? You can disable it. There's little tool-things at the top of the box that pops up, and if you hover over the left-hand one, it offers the option of disabling. You check the particular boxes you're interested in and refresh the page and voila. Snapshot GONE.

Geez. Whoever thought that was a good idea anyway? It messes links up for pete's sake. -.-

(and yes, I am still sick, which makes me even more annoyed)

So, I took the stuff I'd made into the shop and she LOVED them. She was so impressed, but hadn't got anywhere to put them so gave them back to me for now until things are all sorted. She got a phone call while I was there and apparently I'm to go with her to....something? I have no idea, but I'll find out soon enough, I'm sure.

She introduced me to a few people as 'the lady who will be teaching' *amused* and I helped out in the shop for a bit, doing some inventory of stock that had just come in, as well as pricing up. (left handed scissors FTW! too bad I can't send a pair to Shige...) Anyway, she gave me this huge box of stuff to make more goodies with and kept saying 'are you sure you don't want more' and I was like major @.@ with what she was already giving me!

So yeah, that was a lot of stuff. *mindboggled*
