T'was the night before Christmas... And we got back from a little shopping with smiles on all of our faces. I managed to floor ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) chelistaeriadne with the gift of a portrait of Moonbeam, Ashferret, and I that she'll be able to enjoy after the Holidays. We just finished tracking Santa... ( http://www.noradsanta.org/en/default.php ) and we made some lovely Christmas cookies for him too (my gingerbread man kinda looked like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson when I frosted him, so I added a championship belt made of candy bits and traced in his definitive eyebrow). Dishes, wrapping to follow. We gotta put Wildfire to bed. Merry Everything to all, and to all a good night! |

So I dressed up as a wicked priest for Hallowe'en, in my long black opera coat that looks like a Monsigneur's robe. Was walking around the Half Axe Market Square with nosidagi, and a guy asked me what denomination of priest I was, thinking (for some reason) that I was the real McCoy. I replied, "Church of Hedonism," without missing a beat. The dillhole actually looked at me questioningly and asked, "What's hedonism?" I pulled back the opera coat, revealing a flogger, a slapper, and a whip. "If it feels good...do it," I replied and walked away, leaving the guy's jaw to drop. As for why I've been incommunicado for so long? We'll get to that. Just know I'm safe, happy, and my life is a hurricane. :) |

Got my new shift 12pm - 8:30pm, Monday to Friday. Not spectacular, but I know quite a number of the people on my team, and I scored the seat I like. The sup's good too. Might actually be able to do Karaoke again, which would be nice. Now I'm whipping up some Mandarin Orange Sirloin Strips, served with Brown Rice. Thanks for chopping that monster thing of meat up for me, nosidagi, it's very nice to have a freezer full of premium meaty goodness, for not much money at all. Current Mood:  hungry |

Of cheese and assKICKery My song of Corporate Doggerel (thanks for the term moonkittykat, it works perfectly!) won my team a big ol' pizza party to be held today. Go me. Getting a new shift starting November 6th. Hoping I'll get something that ends earlier in the day than the 11pm I have now. Oh, and we're not supposed to leave memos on people's accounts anymore. How that qualifies as "We Care" or "We Own" I still haven't figured out. |

One of our resident "Subject Matter Experts" busts out this winner of a quote... "So, like...in the Bible, it's written like Lord of the Rings...right?" I laughed uproariously at this...with images of Jesus Frodo, Sauron crucifying Gollum, Jesus getting it on with Arwen, and other twisted things. Headaches SUCK.
I want to die.
It started as a headache.
It blossomed into an enduring (started Saturday...it's Wednesday now) throbbing headache accompanied by nausea.
The nausea was so bad at one point I actually had to "visit the rosebushes", which is something I haven't had to do in years.
Now the right side of my neck and trapezius muscles are aching.
My head is pounding.
My throat is stripped.
And my head's in a fog.
Why the frig am I still at work? I should get out of here and schedule a Doctor's Appointment for tomorrow. |

Headaches...
Had a wicked migraine-like headache this weekend.
Came home, and my comp decided it doesn't want to boot up. Does the whole "you wanna go to safe mode?" thing, without letting me move the cursor so I can start it in safe mode. So when it does boot up using the defaults, it kicks itself in the groin and reboots, and comes up with the same question, which it won't lemme answer. Grr.
And now my headache's coming back.

Bad call.
I was on a call today and listened to a woman verbally humiliate and physically assault a small child.
Needless to say I forwarded this on to my superiors. I really hope they'll do something about it. Like suspend/cancel the evil bitch's service.
