The movers are on their way so I'm getting ready to move the cmputer. Will be back later tonight.

Did I mention yesterday that the people at Dell are idiots. Seriously, I called them wanting to change the delivery address for my laptop since estimated date was 7/30. They said they can't do that I have to wait until it ships and call DHL. Wonderful, because I have nothing else to do than wait for it to be shipped right? Not to mention the last time they shipped DHL to me the guy forged my signature and left it on the porch where it was stolen. But fine, I'd have to keep checking for delivery.

Just checked...it's shipping now. Delivery date is Tuesday.

Tuesday is the day we are moving to the new house. Tuesday is the most inconvienent day it could possibly arrive really. Of course I can't call and try to change the delivery address today because it's Sunday so now I have one more thing on my list of crap to do tomorrow.

and for some reason they are not shipping the mouse or the router yet. Only the laptop. So I will have the computer but not be able to connect to the internet unless I take it to my room...in which case I might as well use the desktop...and this will apparently be the case until August 13. It says it's in production...um...I'm pretty sure they don't build the mouse or the router, they purchase them and ship them as is....if they don't have them available why offer them?


Finally go the keys to the house...

The bank did not tell them that the electrictian is still trying to get the outlet for the stove working so the kitchen is a disaster. THere is a place behind the washer that is a total mess and has to be fixed, and there is still no closet wall in Jonathon's room. All of which is supposed to be fixed today or tomorrow. The woman (mortgage lady/wife of realtor) is coming to clean up the kitchen, electrictian is on his way back over to fix the other stove and drywall, and the window guy will be over this week for the closet door. Also must find out why the A/C is not coming on...will have to ask the woman (Debbie) when we get back with more boxes. She had left to get her cleaning stuff before I realized the A/C wasn't on...

Will back in a few hours. Am making one more trip with boxes and then taking a lunch/dinner break.

Can be anyone is not a pairing. And to be even more clear if you write the characaterization correctly it can never be 'anyone'. It can't. Even a drabble that is basically just sex the characters are not all the same woudn't have exactly the same reactions.

My God, Doctor Who and Torchwood fic communities are active...I"m on skip 280 and still haven't caught up...sadly most is not fic I want to read. But I do have a ton of tabs open that I want to read and will hopefully have time after I catch up on all the other posts.

Have I ever mentioned how every much I hate it when I can't find one lousy line of coding that is screwing up an entire layout. 1 line...one color as a matter of fact and I'll be happy with my new layout...

My mom's doing a crossword puzzle and I can't remember...

Well more a teenager than a kid but still where the hell am I going to put another person.

I should've said no. I know I should have. My room is full of boxes so is half the living room and part of my mom's room, but Jonathon's cousin Mark called and wants to spend the night tomorrow when Jennifer brings Jonathon back and I have always felt sorry for him and I said yes.

He's...16 now...I think. Maybe 15. Can't remember exactly I haven't seen him in well over a year.

Anyway, his mother is a drug addict and has ignored him most of his life. Seriously, by the time we'd met them which was 12 years ago she had lost custody of Mark 3 times for neglect. Mark's brother is the one with all the psych problems (and he is now in the criminal ward of a psych hospital until he turns 18 and he's only 13), so what little attention she ever gave her kids went to controlling Rasheed...who is also actually a sweet kid when taking his meds. But when he's not (and no one ever made sure he did) he's a bit uh...homicidal. The last instance that got him put in the hospital for good was to attack a neighbor with a baseball bat for asking him to go home because his kids needed to come in for dinnner. Before that he'd pulled taken the school's security guard's gun and threatened to kill himself. Before that he'd attacked Ashley (Jonathon's brother's girlfriend) when she was 7 months pregnant for simply asking him to keep his voice down.

Anyway point is, Mark has always simply wanted attention. When he was 7 he spent a summer with Jennifer (taken away from his mom again) so he was at our house every day that summer and he got very attached. I think mostly because we actually do things with the kids. Play games, go places etc.

Last week he had his legs run over by a car. I still don't understand the details. It was one of those idiotic 16 year old boy things...He was showing off for a girl by sitting on the roof of a moving car. The kid driving started to go fast and Mark tried to tell him to slow down but he fell and his leg was run over before the kid could stop. Somehow he broke no bones (no idea how) but his leg is really screwed up so he's pretty much stuck at home and he's bored. He hasn't seen Jonathon in a long time and us in even longer, he's spending the night with Jennifer tonight and called to ask if he could come here tomorrow. It's not a big deal. He'll have to go home after lunch because we have shopping to do and he simply can't go with us. I wouldn't care about taking him but he can't walk...that's going to be an issue. So rather than do all the shopping in the morning we'll do it in the evening so they can play video games or whatever in the morning.

So tomorrow I'm going to have to try to make room in one of the bedrooms for an extra kid...and lets all hope Travis still isn't coming over because I don't know where I can put 3 kids...
