Today's project

Shadow cataloging her personal library

I'm at over 70 books recorded now, and I still have a long way's to go. I've entered in a lot of my metaphysical-type books. I still have the remainder of my theology collection, relationship studies, psychology, computers/programming, and then my fiction collection to enter. I will most likely purchase a membership so that I can go over the 200 book limit on the "free account".

My guess is that my book count is going to be closer to the 300 range at the very least.

The interesting thing is that I haven't fully read all of these books. I tend to go to a bookstore, find a couple of books that catch my attention, read bits and pieces of them, and then add them to my collection for 'further reading/research'.

For those readers that deal with the more esoteric stuff, I'm curious as to your feedback on certain books in my collection - which ones are well written, which ones are questionable in content/accuracy, and which ones would be good choices to loan to someone that's looking for "beginner level" books. Also, if you have any additional recommendations, I'm open for suggestions.

Update @ 6:30pm - I still have several boxes of books left, and I already hit the 200+ mark. Wheeeee!</i>

What's your theological worldview?
created with QuizFarm.com
You scored as Emergent/Postmodern

You are Emergent/Postmodern in your theology. You feel alienated from older forms of church, you don't think they connect to modern culture very well. No one knows the whole truth about God, and we have much to learn from each other, and so learning takes place in dialogue. Evangelism should take place in relationships rather than through crusades and altar-calls. People are interested in spirituality and want to ask questions, so the church should help them to do this.
