I'm probably just going to head to the Mac Store and pick up a wireless adapter.

Because I'm a big dork I just pulled down the Veep Debate Transcript. I stripped out all Palin's responses into one doc and the complete transcript in another then performed a search and replace. The word ALSO is used 53 times over the course of the evening. 48 of those times it was Governor Palin.

What does this mean? That you have a new cue for when to drink whenever Palin is on TV.

Watched Dark Star last night (technically I watched it twice.) Ever notice how when you watch a John Carpenter movie you always want to preface it with John Carpenter's. Pretty good marketing schtick. Anywho... movie would have been better with a few friends around to MST3K it, but it's got it's moments. Notably: Bomb 20 and the main computer the alien beating Pinback with the broom and, of course, the awesome conversation with the bomb:

OK it's not my imagination. I was watching Dark Star, and while based on a Ray Bradbury story (Kaleidoscope), it's kind of a spoof of 2001. Well I'm watching it and thinking "This is soooo much like Alien." Turns out it is! Dark Star was co-written by the writer of Alien. If you're a buff you should definitely give Dark Star a go. But as I said, it's better with beer 'n friends.

For this year's American Trucking Association's Managers Conference and Exposition issue of TT. Since I did the cover, it means I'll have 2 pieces of art in the ish. Can you say collectors item? Act fact only 50 or 60,000 copies will be printed! Advance copies will be available Saturday at the New Orleans Convention Center.
I'd say since he doesn't read newspapers you could also grab George W Bush's copy (the White House gets 2 copies). But with the big cartoon cover he might actually look at it.
