North Carolina [Apr. 14th, 2005|03:12 pm]
Well last night was a good show. Thanks to everyone for coming out as usual. We played the SKNet in Charlotte. The showdown was amazing as always. They had this drink called a shot in the dark. I didnt try it but everyone was saying it was great. Maybe next time i'll get one. It was a miserable day, however. All it did was rain...and it was that type rain where its not hard enough to keep you from going outside but its just enough to piss you off that you cant stand outside. Plus our windsheild sucks so driving in the rain is not easy. But anywho...needless to say it was amazing playing these few days with The Showdown. Cant wait to do it again.'

The Showdown [Apr. 10th, 2005|03:14 pm]
So friday night we played with The Showdown in Grantville, GA. The show was fun, a bunch of ska bands and a nu-metal band played. Interesting line-uip to say the least. But it was cool. I don't think the Ska kids liked us very much cause after they were done playing they left(we hadn't played yet) and yelled obsinities from their car about us and The Showdown. But its all good...cause we got to flatten pennies as trains went by while they played. So everything worked out. The Showdown was amazing and I can't wait to play with em on Tuesday and Wedensday. Good times will be had.

It's been a while! [Dec. 20th, 2004|03:34 pm]
Sorry its been so long since an update. We've been on a break for a bit writing new material for a split EP we are doing with My Hostage and just playing some spot shows here and there. Recently we went down to FL(go figure) again for some shows. It was great! Thanks to everyone who came to the shows. Daytona was interesting...a fight broke out and the owner tried to shoot us. Well not really...but he threatened to. As always we had a great time hanging out in Jax with friends. Sorry to anyone who came to see us in Gainseville...we couldn't make the show, but next time will be awesome.
After that slew of shows we were home for a bit. Then a couple days ago we played in Columbia, SC with Glasscasket and In The Trunk. It was great to see all our friends and new friends singing along and dancing. Thanks for coming out...we really appreciate it. And big thanks to Glasscasket...it was amazing sharing the stage with those guys again and we can't wait to do it again real soon. And thanks for the CD guys...its great. So we have another show at the Masquerede this Thursday and then in Marietta on Jan 9th. Then tour Jan 13th. We are heading west young man...so we cant wait to see all you west coasters pretty faces. We miss it out there...its been way too long.
Well thats about it for now! See you soon.

My Hot Sausage [Nov. 7th, 2004|02:24 pm]
Well the tour with My Hostage ended up being a flop. The only show that happened was in Nashville and it sucked. Thanks to the few people who stuck around to see us at midnight since there were 6 bands on the bill and more than half were touring. Awesome. But on a happier note we confirmed that we will be recording a split EP with My Hostage to be released early next year. 4 new songs each and a cover song. Its gonna be fun times and we are excited about it. We love those boys. If you were planning on coming to the show in Tallahassee tomorrow we are sorry we cant make it down there. I think My Hostage is going to make it so be sure to say hey and give those boys some love. They are so good. Sorry to anyone in Cleveland, Knoxville, Johnson City, and Pensecola who wanted to see us. The shows were cancelled not on our account. We wanted to come play for ya! Well I think thats it for now. Our next show isnt til Nov 20th and we have some new songs to write for the split so we'll be talkin to ya soon! Love you!

Thanks to all our friends who came out...the support really means so much to us. Our next show in town is Dec 15th at Swayzes with Bury Your Dead. So hope to see you all there!

Thanks so much to everyone who came out to see us last night. The show was so fun...we really needed it. You all made us feel so welcome. Some awesome bands played. Too Short Notice, thanks Shannon, Doyle's Fan Club(i think thats the name, sorry if I'm wrong), you all were amazing. and Then the last band, i forget their name, it was their last show but they were great. Apparently the singer for that band is cousins with the singer for Coheed. I could definately hear it in the vocal style. But yeah...overall it was an awesome show. We met so many great people. Kay, Deana, Sam, Jackie( i think i spelled your name wrong :-( you all were awesome. We are playing tonight near Springfield, MA. My best friend and his wife are coming so im excited to see em. I think the show should be good. Ok, im done.

CBGB's [Oct. 9th, 2004|03:47 am]
So last night we played the legendary CBGB's. It was pretty cool to play there. We played real early and no one was there except for 6 awesome people. 2 girls were from Finland and were in town and wanted to see us play so they came. That was pretty cool to know we had fans from Finland. The other 4 were just at the show randomly but they liked us a lot and bought a lot of stuff. It was real cool. We got to walk around the city. We met these two girls, Elizabeth and Savannah, who showed us around. They took us to Times Square, ect. It was awesome. So much fun. After we were done hanging out we drove to Long Island and met up with the MIL boys again. So much fun. They had a suprise song written for us with Robby doing some interpretive dancing. Needless to say it was amazing. Tonight we played at The Wave in Long Island. IF you are a band, dont play there. haha. It was terrible. But to the few people who were awesome to us thanks a lot! Well we gotta get up real early so i guess im gonna go. Hopefully tomorrow rules. I hear we are playing with some ska bands so of course it will be.

Off Days and CBGB's [Oct. 7th, 2004|11:45 am]
So the last couple days have been fun. Even though we didn't have shows due to last minute cancellizations it was fun to hang out with our friend Josh. Thanks so much to him and his family for letting us camp out with them for 2 days. The food was great, the fun was better, and I drank WAY too much coffee.
Last night we watched The Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind. Great flick. And we watched Saved. Also awesome. We hung out downtown Doylestown...good coffee there, and Nat Sherman mints for cheap!
Tonight we are playing at CBGB's. We are stoked, some people from Lava/Atlantic records are supposed to be coming to see us again. Should be good times...so wish us luck. And if you live in the NYC area...come to the show tonight!
Ok, thats it for now!

The Local Bands Don't Use Vasoline Tour. [Oct. 5th, 2004|11:10 pm]
So the last couple days have been horrible. Us and MIL have now dubbed this tour "The Local Bands Don't Use Vasoline Tour". So here is the run down. Two nights ago the local band that drew the most kids and was supposed to headline decided that they werent gonna headline just as we were about to play. well needless to say when they were done the majority of the people there left. That was the first anal ramming of the tour. Next day, we show up at the show and the local band has cancelled, and of course the club did no promotion. So without the local band to promote the club decided not to have the show...2nd anal ramming. But no...it doesnt end there. Today we drive to our friend Josh from the band The Huntingtons to stay the nigth since we have an off day. We get here to find out that our show tomorrow in NJ is being cancelled because all 3...not just 1...all 3 local bands have cancelled and there has been no promotion for the show. So basically, if you are a local band...promote shows and dont say you can play and cancel. It just anally invades the touring bands that you are supposed to be helping out.
But on the bright side of things we got to go to Hershey's World of Chocolate today and that was a great time! And now we are hanging out with our friend Josh who rules the world. We are playing in Philly next week and we get to hang out with him some more so that will be great.
If you live in NY..our next 3 shows are there so come out. We need some love!!

Last night we played in Cornelius, NC. the show was good times. It was great to play with Monday In London again. The next few weeks are gonna be great times with them. We had a great crowd response and it was just fun to play. thanks to everyone who came out. On the way to the show we hit some real bad traffic. It was stopped for a while. Some us even got out of the van to smoke and walked along side if we moved at all. It was pretty silly. Thanks to Val for all the promotion she did for the show and for letting us crash at her place. We love you Val. Tonight we are playing in MIL's home town, so we are excited about that.
Oh, and a note to Claire...next time we are gonna get you to do some jumping jacks for us.

Valdosta and Brunswick, GA [Sep. 12th, 2004|06:39 am]
So our last two nights were lots of fun. The first we played at Vito's in Valdosta, GA. A fun little club. Thanks to everyone who came out and showed us some support. We love you. It sux to have to haul our stuff up those stairs but its all good. at least we get $5 pizza's right? haha.
Tonight we played in Brunswick, GA and it was awesome. We played a skatepark and so many kids were dancing. It was just a good time...real hot, but a good time. Can't wait to get back down there again.
Both shows were with Nor Am I and we played with My Hostage in Brunswick. We love all those guys so much...such good bands and fun doods. Can't wait to play more with em. It looks like we are doing a week with My Hostage in November. Mainly in TN, and such. But that should be loads of fun. Me and Woody can have sex everynight. Oh it will be heaven!!
But now i must sleep.

OH YEAH!!

Sorry to anyone who tried to see us in Ft Walton Beach or in Tallahasee, FL. The shows were cancelled cause of the hurricane. So if you were brave enough to venture out and try to catch the shows, we are very sorry.

So we played in Nashvegas on Friday. the show kinda blew. But thanks so much to the few of you that came out...we really really appreciate you. And thanks for buyin the CD, that rox too. After the show I hung out with Sarah and Ben and met some cool new friends...Ruth and Christie. Fun times were had. Me nad Sarah went to a Waffle House and in the course of 30 min two fights broke out. It was exciting. Then when we met up with Ben, Ruth, and Christie...Ruths ex boy showed up and all this drama started. It was great fun for us...i imagine not so much for Ruth. After this we met up with the boys at the hotel and just hung out. It was good times. Nahville = fun even if the show is not good.
Last night we played in Memphis, TN. The show was incredible. 460 paid at the door, we sold so much stuff. Everyone was so nice. IT was just so much fun. CD Release Show...Atlanta [Aug. 21st, 2004|03:08 pm]
So i forgot to post after our CD release show downtown with Autopilot Off, The Start, Monday In London, Second Chance, and more. It was an awesoem show. Thanks to everyone who came out to show us your love. We love playing the Masquerede, especially when you all are there with us. Monday In London was awesome, we can't wait to tour with them in October. Its gonna be fun times for sure! Second Chance was very impressive...they kinda reminded me of a poppier Thrice. Maybe like The Starting Line with Thrice influence. It was pretty good stuff. I didnt get to really see The Start but they sounded pretty awesome. Chick singers rule...especially when they are cute. Then Autopilot Off played. Can't really say i was too impressed by them. They were ok i guess, really generic. But hey...They are on Island, hell of a lot better than us. haha. But overall it was an awesome show.
On a completely differant note. I cant wait to get on tour. I hate being home. Thats all.
