When I watch History Channel documentaries that are narrated by Edward Herrmann, I always imagine it's actually Richard Gilmore from Gilmore Girls doing the voice overs as a part-time job in his retirement.
Also, I'm crazy.

I'm not in a good mood tonight. It's never as bad as it used to be, though. I'll thank the meds for that. It's certainly more fleeting, too. Instead of wanting to curl up and die for whatever reason it is at the time, it's now just a funk and I get over it. Not sure what it is tonight.
Anyway, today was good otherwise. Subway, good D&D, and a bunch of friends over besides. There were video games and internets and passing around the uke and other fun things.
The only downside was when we were outside and I saw my neighbor's cat, Ugly, sitting in their yard, so I walked over to see if I could pet her. She approached me also and I patted her on the head. She meowed and made a happy kitty face, like ^_^. So I pet her. So far so good. I pet her again and HISS GROWL CLAW ATTACK CLAW ATTACK IT'S SUPER EFFECTIVE!! and she runs off. She got me good, and drew more blood than my cats ever did, including when Kevin and I get into huge fights, like rolling around on the ground and hitting each other with metal folding chairs and WWE commentators and such.
So anyway I went inside and scrubbed up my wounds with a pile of soap and all that and stopped the bleeding. Survey the damage, post awesome band-aids:
( Hello Kitty! )
Yes, three Hello Kitty band-aids. Her claws were very far apart for some reason. o_o Not that I'll deny my love for Hello Kitty, those band-aids are my niece's. Haha.
I'm still pretty awake for some reason, but I gotta roll out the door in 12 hours and stuff to do before that, so I guess I should sleep. Good night.
P.S., is there any irony in using Hello Kitty to treat a cat-inflicted wound?

Haha, I just realized a terrible mistake I made and ran out to my car to rescue my uke. I figured it was a bad idea anyway to leave a stringed instrument in direct sunlight to bake. This is true, I found.
Instead of the strings being tuned to G C E A, my uke was at F sharp, B, E-flat, and G-sharp. Kind of strange that the B was perfect, though. Hm.
I tuned it again real quick, but I imagine it'll have to be tuned again once it cools completely. Hmhm.

That thing I posted this morning was from a dream. Even at the time, when I had stumbled out of bed and typed it so I wouldn't forget, it was the only part of the dream I remember. Red, I believe would be of the Riding Hood variety, for what it's worth. "Don't worry, Red; we're not out of the woods yet." Perhaps it's from the wolf?
The mood swings have dropped entirely now. I'm back to myself, made better by antidepressants. I'm not sure I'm feeling a change from my old dosage, but that might take a bit to work up as well. Tomorrow is another game night, of course, and again on Sunday. I've finally got my car street legal again, so I can actually drive to the game! Yes!
And gas, even right on the interstate where it's usually marked up really high is under three bucks. I'm shocked. Who wants to bet we'll be at pre-Katrina prices soon?
Today was the best day for food ever. For lunch, my uncle took me to Sagebrush and I had the best soup ever made, surprisingly, along with the very surprising best barbecue sandwich. Then for supper my friends took me to Olive Garden for the pasta bowl thing and the lady got my order wrong, but what she brought me instead was the greatest pasta thing I'd ever tasted. Wow.
Now I'm sort of hungry. Mef. Time for bed, though.

So the terrible mood I'd been in for the past couple days finally eased majorly this afternoon after I did some constructive stuff. Fixed my sister's computer and got the wireless router set up. Guess that helped me feel better.
In a fit of semi-awesome, I cleaned my room an hour or so ago. Not perfect, but now I can walk and there's open space on my desk besides a big lump of sleeping cat (he is a permanent fixture here now, it seems) in the middle.
I think I'll play some pokemons in bed and sleep. Good night!

Sick. Hard to breathe. Maybe that's why I'm tired, and not my meds. Been coughing and stuff. I'll probably stay in bed for a while tomorrow, until I need to run out to buy a wireless router for my sister. For her birthday, we're getting her computer online with us. Should be a fun project. Tonight I applied for a driver position for CoinStar. As much as I denied wanting another driving position, I really wouldn't mind it. I really loved my Otis job. I wish I could go back. It's too bad I can't. =\
Oh well! Bloodwork this morning was fun. I don't know why I enjoy having my blood drawn, but it's pretty neat. Also when they weighed me, I was a few pounds lighter. Also good today, we had Mexican at my favorite Mexican place.
I need to do something constructive. Maybe I'll go for a jog soon. I feel sluggish. Now, I sleep. Good night!

Hungry! Why did I eat such an early supper when I knew I couldn't eat tonight because of my bloodwork in the morning? After I go to the doctor, I'm totally going to get some food right after. :3
Today I accomplished little. Meh. Lying in bed feeling gross and passing out until almost four didn't help in the productivity department. I still didn't feel better then anyway.
Tomorrow? Mattress shopping after bloodwork at the doc. Then a nap. I'm gonna need it. Mef.
Good night.

Uggggh. Got myself something not good. So far today I've slept for 11 hours and I'm still tired. Worst, I've got a headache now and my stomach hurts.
Haha, why did I go to Hardee's with a stomach ache?

Saw my doctor today. Everything seems to be going pretty well. Dr. Kees upped my dosage of Lexapro and gave me a prescription for Celexa for when my samples run out. I missed a dose yesterday and I could feel the difference. So I started up the new dosage today.
Otherwise, stuff's okay. The Workforce Connection site is down, though, and that's where my good resume is. Right when I need it for an application. Oh well. Tomorrow, I'll pull it and make a local copy.
So sleepy! Alllll day. x_x
Good night!

Sweet, a free hat!

Grass cutting and Rock Banding happened today. I hadn't drummed in a long time -- lately I'd mostly been singing. Both are awesome. For some reason guitar is really boring now. Must have burnt out with the Guitar Hero and stuff before RB ever came out. Also, I figured early on that if I played the "instrument" nobody else wanted to (drums), I'd always get to play. It works. While everyone else is passing guitars and mics around, I keep the sticks. Devious? Maybe. But nobody complains.
Also some D&Ding went on. Going nicely. I spent a whole lot more on supper than I wanted to. Meh. I would have preferred some five dollar footlong awesomeness that I could have made at least a meal and a half out of, if not two. Instead we all went out for Mexican so I ended up spending twice that on something that wasn't as filling. Thank the world for free chips and salsa.
Now it's 5:30 a.m. and I don't know why I'm not in bed yet. I'm tired and sore from running around outside and such. Oh well. Might as well say goodnight now. Goodnight now!

Woke up and realized that LJ had broken my image. That made me unnecessarily sad. Haha. Fixed it. I feel better.
Time to cut the grass!

Clever: ""Eat right and exercise left for thinning of the middle!" Good advice Kiko.
Hm. Did I accomplish anything today? Perhaps. Well, I rescued a little bitty snake from the clutches of one Kevin J. Cat. I doubt he would have hurt it, really. He was just patting it with his paws. No claws. It was either a copperhead, which I've seen around here before. Its face was too little for me to notice pits, though, and such had eyes that were also too little for me to see them well. Have a look:
( Ikkle snake within! )
I picked it up with a shovel and put it away from the house. Hm. What else. I did some work for David. Went to Sam's Club and fell in love with the cutest little non-EEEPC notebook ever. I still want one of those, though.
Anyway, game tomorrow. Good night!

| Subject: | Saving the economy |
| Time: | 11:44 pm. |
|
When the American dollar bursts into flames, I plan to institute the Ameribux on a platinum standard of 100 Ameribux to one ounce of platinum. That equates to, at a low estimate, $9.50 US to 1 Ameribux.
The Ameribux will, for those that don't know, be colorful and bold like Disney Dollars or Geoffrey Dollars for Toys R Us gift spending.
Companies based in the US will be able to bid shares in stocks to be on certain denominations of bills. These shares will be held by the government which will earn through its dividends or hold to sell for profit at a later date. Since the government didn't "buy" them in the first place, it wouldn't be a major loss if something happens to the stock. This of course will have obvious advertising potential.
*Note that I know nothing of economics and this is by no means a sound theory in reality. Probably.
I just want a brightly-colored bill with the Google logo on it.

Yesssss! I can go back to sleep! So awesome.

Ooh, before sleep: Bert and Ernie on a banana phone.
So awesome.

Much better day today! Therapy was kinda... eh. But the day got better. Lots of reading and lying around. Nice economics discussions. Also discussing the debate was fun. Gosh, I really need to catch up on my podcasts. I've got 30-odd to go through. Wow.
Going to play a bit of DS games and go to bed. I have to be up in like five hours to wait for the Sears guy. The fridge, she has died.
Anyway, Good night!
