Right, so we took right around 1900 photos on our trip. It's been very slow slogging through them, trying to pick out the better ones for sharing. My goal for this weekend is to get a good sampling of them up in a Kodak Gallery. When that's done, I'll share the link with you incase you feel like looking at an ass-ton of photos. For now, here are two. They are not the best photos, but they show the two of us together in two of the more well known locations. In front of Angkor Wat: In the "Tomb Raider Tree" doorway at Ta Prohm: We had a great time on the trip. The long haul to get there and back (more than 24 hrs) was not pleasant, but not the end of the world. Bangkok was pretty dirty, and the people were not as friendly as often is said. We enjoyed Cambodia much more than Bangkok. The temples were wonderful, as were the people and the food. It took about a week for us to fully readjust to the jet lag on our return to Atlanta. Since being back, we've seen No Country for Old Men and Cloverfield, both of which we enjoyed quite a bit. We had Arby's for Valentine's Day dinner. Of course, we celebrated two days early at The Melting Pot. We opted for this plan because we didn't want to miss Lost while out eating a Valentine's dinner. Lost has been great this season.

After years of telling myself that I needed to register for the National Marrow Donor Registry, I just registered online. They now will send me a kit to do mouth swabs to type me. Why, after years of not doing it, have I finally done it now? My cousin's husband needs a bone marrow transplant. Of course, the likelyhood that he and I will be a match is infintesimally low, but at least it got me off my butt and prompted me to register. Who knows, maybe I'll match someone else sometime. If any of you are interested in registering, more information can be found at www.marrow.org. Please consider it! Now I just need to go donate some blood. I've always wanted to but been afraid. I don't particularly care for needles in my veins, so I wasn't sure I could handle a needle in one for the 15 or so minutes it takes to draw the unit. But, I think, after having a needle in the crook of my elbow for an hour while getting hydrated in Hilton Head, I think I might be able to stand it. I'll have to wait until I die to donate any of my organs though. Of course, as lokii and I have plans to live forever, I might just have to be stingy with my organs. Limbic System: giving
