Here's a really annoying list with no links, however, all these things exist!
1. Ryan Ross supporting Obama!
2. A website dedicated to pictures of Obama holding babies called "Yes We Can (Hold Babies)!"
3. Reviews of Rock Band Live Tour Meet and Greets and shows!
4. Panic on Carson.
5. New episodes of every show ever! New Grey's! New Office! New Upper East Side!
This list was brought to you by the crew internet cafe's computers having no right click feature.

Can someone order me this shirt? It would kinda make my whole life, since I cancelled my credit card.
And so, I'm confused. Did Pete write a book or not? I have no internet time with which to research this. Anyone wanna give me the run down?

I've been sitting in a Houlihan's for the last three hours, making use of their free wireless service. In a few hours time, my ship sets sail for Canada for the last time. After that, it's all Caribbean. I'm gonna miss these Canadian runs while I'm in the sweltering Caribbean heat. But then again. Beaches. Sun. Wonderfulness. Yay!
I finally downloaded the new FOB, but I'm not gonna listen until later when it's quieter somewhere. I need to focus! I also downloaded fic onto my harddrive so that my internetless ass can read it when I'm bored.
And I found Oh Sherrie by Steve Perry. As if you don't love that song!
ETA: you damn Americans and your lack of Ketchup chips.

I am exhausted. Man, it sucks when there are lots of kids... and we only have 250 kids! In a few cruises, we're going to have almost 800 kids! WHAT AM I GONNA DO THEN, HUH? I must say, though, I love the kids, and if I do say so myself, they love me. I can relate to them, while I notice that it's hard for, say, someone from Argentina who barely speaks English. At lease with the older groups, no amount of enthusiasm, creativity or organizational skills can compete with someone who knows a whole lot about Zac Efron and how to kick ass at Guitar Hero. My name here is Vitamin V, and when I'm on for shifts, they go, "WE GET YOU TONIGHT? YESSSSSSS!! VITAMIN V!" It feels realllllllllly good for a change. Virginia = 1, Worldy Certified Teachers = 0. For a change.
We're in Bermuda again. Today we were headed to the beach, but then it poured, so instead, we shopped. I bought some postcards. And a peace sign necklace, because I'm a sucker for a peace sign. Especially a wooden one.
Dear Panic at the Disco: "Shout"? Really? You adorable, adorable, adorable geeks.

The last few days have been... I dunno. Weird? They kinda flew by. Today, I have been on this ship for one whole month. That seems like a long time. It means I'm 1/5 done my contract. These are good things. I can't believe I stuck it out this long.
My friend Sandi and I got off the ship today in Jersey and went to see a movie. A MOVIE! HOW DIFFERENT AND INTERESTING. Honestly, it was amazing. We saw Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, which I love love loved, but I probably would have loved fracking Space Chimps if it meant I could sit in a theatre and eat movie popcorn and put my feet on SOLID LAND. Nah, it was good. I want the soundtrack, but that's probably not surprising. It was funny in all the right places. Many weird cameos-type appearances. Very adorable. Oh, movies, how I miss you.
I also found out how to hook my laptop to the internet, though it's 36 cents a minute and 12 cents a minute after 11pm. I can now upload some pictures. Last cruise we had one kid, so it was somewhat of a vacation. This cruise, we have 267 kids. It's insane, but they tell me that usually we have 800 kids, so I'm not really knowing what to think.
Can everyone give me their mailing addresses? And I mean everyone? I want to send postcards at some point, and I realized I don't have mailing addresses. :)
Also: I made everyone on my staff watch Flight of the Conchords with me. They were unimpressed, I wanted to punch them. It was so hilarious, too, and they happened to be playnig it on our channels.

No googling, cheaters.
1. "One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain."
2. "The drinks flow, people forget. That big wheel spins, the hair thins. People forget."
3. "I got a job working construction for the Johnstown company, but lately there ain't been much work on account of the economy."
4. "But I mean no harm nor put fault on anyone that lives in a vault."
5. "Oh where'd my body go? Africa or Mexico?"

The Good List:
1. Because of the hurricane we got re-routed to Quebec and are staying here overnight... and that means we can go clubbing alllllll night. Quoth every DC boy ever, "weeeeeeeeeeeooooooooooooooooo"!
2. I have gigs of the music persuasion for when I get back home. My morale is now through the roof.
3. I went shopping today and bought a new purse. Errrm, wallet? I have so many English friends now that they're making me talk like them. Anyhow, it's so pretty!
4. Mandy and I actually went out to dinner and had bonding time. It was... surprisingly good. I am starting to like her a lot.
5. I watched to the end of Mystery Spot. Holy holy holy shit, I feel like I've been punched in the gut. And the annoying thing is that Kripke LOVES it. I was watching the Dream a Little Dream scene specifics, and he's like, HA YES, HAHAHAHA, LET'S KILL THEM WITH ANGST AND DEAN DREAMING ABOUT HAVING A NORMAL FAMILY. Freakin' lunatic.

I really want someone to write some self-destructive Ed Westwick fic. It'd be awesome; Chace could be involved. Or maybe Penn. Or preferably both? And maybe Chris Lowell, because he's fun to throw in there. There would be much, much drug abuse involved. Fights. Very Libertines-esque story. Maybe Ed steals all Chace's things and sells them.
And oh! Oh! It'd be au, and set in London or something, and Ed would be a Trainspotting-type of kid, and Chace would come in, the clean-cut American kid, because he's, like, going to school or something. And Ed would befriend him, show him the "ropes", but really, he just wants to use him for his money, and then they fall in love so Ed's like, fuck, what about the plan? And in he's so fucking gone on the drugs that he fucks Chace over anyways, and there's tension, and Chace moves back home, all heartbroken, and Ed is even more fucked without Chace than he is without the drugs, but he doesn't have enough money to fly to LA to find Chace, and WHAT WILL HE DO? I don't know what will happen, but it'll somehow be a happy ending. Or at least the start of one.
Can you all see how this would be awesome? And can we all also see how easily we could insert other characters into this equation, like say, Pete and Patrick? Or or or! JON AND SPENCER, YES PLEASE.
I really have to go to work now.

Hi there, y'all. Here's an updated version of my address. The old Miami one will still reach me, but it'll take longer. This one will get to me once a week or so. :)

FYI, I bought Gossip Girl season one so that I could get my Ed fix, and also Pushing Daisies, because that show is still so incredibly brilliant. I miss television.
Oh, and I totally bought a badass costume for the Halloween party here. It's the Joker, and it's so fun. It's a coat and a shirt and the leggings, it comes with a Heath!Joker mask, but it looks really tacky and mad, so instead I'm going to paint my own face and spray my hair green and scraggly. It'll be a me!Joker. I'm excited for that.

So yesterday I ate a 100 calorie box of Fruit Loops... and that's all. All day. Ship life is extremely heathy, apparently. But! My mom is coming to visit me on Sunday for a few hours.
I heard about the FOB video drama. Anyone got any new news about that? I liked the one I watched on youtube, but I didn't notice the product placement, because I hadn't heard about it yet and my brain was stuck on "new Fall Out Boy video!!!!!!" mode.
Blah blah blah ship life. It's all I talk about these days. OH! KATIE. I got your card! YAY! I put it up on my wall, it makes me grin. ♥!
Today, I finally made it to new SPN that I haven't seen! Red Sky at Morning. I really, really like Bella. She hot. I thought the very first time you saw the ghost ship, it was horribly bad graphics, but they made up for it with the extremely cool water combusting thingy at the end when the one brother jumped into the other. I can just tell that this season is gonna break my heart. I mean, I watched all your little hearts breaking last year as you watched it, but now it's real to me. Ugh, boys.

I got quite upset yesterday, because I was finally going to see my mom, but because of hurricane Kyle, we had to re-route to Quebec and skip P.E.I, which is where I was going to meet her. So no Mom. But then I drank a lot.
Mom's going to the Elton John concert tonight. I'm jellin'. (Want some melon?)
We're leaving Bermuda early to escape another hurricane. Sigh. I anticipate seasickness on my part. Anxiety is mounting.
But on the good note, I've just spent two beautiful days in Bermuda. Yesterday I went to the beach all day, relaxed, got the best tan ever, swam in huge, crystal blue waves. And today I went snorkling. Fish are scary! They swim at you sometimes. And they hide under rocks and jump out when you get close! Almost as scary as koala bears, but not quite.
I've got so many Mandy updates, I don't know what to do with them all. Well, how about this. Mandy's ex, you know, that guy, is now seeing another woman... one that is on our ship. They've even changed their relationship status (gasp!), which has Mandy all distraught. But he still calls her, almost every night. And the other day, he left a message on our voice mail for the other girl, hehe, so Mandy wrote it all out and taped it to her cabin door. She was full of glee as she did it, too, because the other girl didn't know that the guy still called Mandy. Drama! I honestly wish I had a video of her to show you guys. You'd eat it up.

Holy ups and downs, Batman. Since I'm in Bermuda and have been at the beach all day, I'm feeling quite good about all this sea stuff. Yesterday, though, I was in a very, very bad mood which my mother caught the brunt of via the telephone. I have to get up early tomorrow morning and play with babies and their parents. I have to work late tonight, but I also have to go out, because, well. I'm in Bermuda. Oh my life.
I want to write poetry that's shitty but meaningful, ie: early Ryan Ross and Pete Wentz. Help me out with this. Feel free to comment with some Pete Wentz/Ryan Ross poetry.

You'll wait a long, long time for anything much
To happen in heaven beyond the floats of cloud
And the Northern Lights that run like tingling nerves.
The sun and moon get crossed, but they never touch,
Nor strike out fire from each other nor crash out loud.
The planets seem to interfere in their curves
But nothing ever happens, no harm is done.
We may as well go patiently on with our life,
And look elsewhere than to stars and moon and sun
For the shocks and changes we need to keep us sane.
It is true the longest drought will end in rain,
The longest peace in China will end in strife.
Still it wouldn't reward the watcher to stay awake
In hopes of seeing the calm of heaven break
On his particular time and personal sight.
That calm seems certainly safe to last to-night.

Yesterday morning was the worst morning of my life. I was yelled at by my boss for something that was absolutely not my fault at all, and then I was yelled at my hundreds of angry, elderly Americans for a few hours because nobody working was given the right instructions, so we were directing people to places they weren't supposed to go, and they were coming back angry. I couldn't say anything but 'sorry' then, but I can say it now: SHUT THE HELL UP AND LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE. (Excuse my language, but honestly.)
And then I ran off to the pier, found my father, and burst into tears. We had a nice lunch and a nice talk. He got a tour of the ship. I miss him so much, and it was nice to see him, even though I was in a very fragile state.
I'm reading The Tenth Circle By Jodi Picoult, and also a very good paper about the history of Southern Rock. It's about the Allman Brothers, Skynard, people like that. Very good. I also have an article about Tom Waits to read, so I'm looking forward to that.
Since I can't ever read my flist, what is going on in your lives? I have no idea, and I'd love it if you'd tell me. Either RL or fandom, it doesn't matter. I miss you guys.

The absolute best part of my job so far is when I get to talk to the guests. It's so nice to have some positive human interaction. Meeting people from all over. Of course, the afternoons off in Bermuda help. San Juan. Haiti. These are nice perks. But the talking to the people is where it's currently at. It's so surreal... tonight is formal night, so we wear evening gowns and heels and eat escargot.
Let's recap: I'm a dirty rock and roll kid who drinks way too much rum and specializes in crashing on people's couches and floors, never doing my own laundry and only washing my hair when I can't possibly get away with just braiding it instead. And now, I'm dressing up in evening gowns, eating fillet mignon and drinking wine. I'm am the biggest poser of life, but it's so fun.
PS; in true "me" style, I have located the bar on board that sells Captain and Coke for two dollars a glass. Obviously this is a staff bar and not a guest bar. Also, there are 19 bars on board. NINETEEN.

So! We all know about Ryan's new blog, or whatever it is at weresoblogging.com. Very fun. It's another thing I'll be able to actually check. How very Wentzian of him, as if we didn't already know that the two were soulmates.
Exhausting day, but I'm pretty sure I was everywhere I needed to be. I had a fabulous night last night; everyone with the night off went to the dinning room with the guest for formal dinner. We dressed up hardcore and had escargot and steak. Yeah, before you ask, I CAN HEAR YOU FROM HERE, MORGAN PELTIER, yes, I did try some lovely snails. Except that instead of lovely, they tasted like garlic and were rubbery. So that's a thumbs down on that one. And then we all went to the show in the theatre. We drank wine and pina coladas and it was comforting.
4 more days 'til my Dad, not that I'm counting. *shifty eyes*
