It's been seven years since Gafilk began,
quadrivium joined us, and a bunch of tracks are in Bill's can.
Seven years, bedlamhouse is chair,
ladyat smooths all along, but yet somehow he's got less hair.
Fourteen years ago Musicon was begun.
starcat_jewel started filkcons in the South, and we all won.
Yesterday, at eleven I got home.
Roomies filker0 and spiritdance might still roam.

Oh my ghu zencuppa strummed some,
Mac Carson thumbed drums,
and jodimuse sang us through dinner.
weirdsister plays bass,
and teri945 made a case
why none of us is yet a sinner.
mdlbear sings geek
and figmo looks chic,
as ohiblather and kitanzi.
billroper came alone,
khaosworks had great tone,
and they both wowed us with their stanzi.

msminlr's quilts are not on trial.
catsittingstill was standing still
on Sunday with a smile.
Two days for a ppopovich.
autographedcat did his work in back
and barely scratched his own itch.
surrdave used his lovely lips.
The music at the banquet let us all swing our hips.
andpuff graced us with her charm.
I just hope the contact with our country didn't do her writing harm.
gorgeousgary and Sheryl had their quota filled.
Some storming at the wedding and the weather gods had been fulfilled.

We all missed telynor
and all the guests of yore,
and adamselzer in Chicago.
We called up braider,
ate up some taters,
and filked 'til needing some plumbago.

She and persis keep their spouses in touch.

and everyone I didn't mention. It's okay if you rant.

Seven years since this first began.
Three more years of badges and the reg. fee's on the Man.
I've been there since '99.
If I'd kept my badges, I'd be smarter, but I'm still fine.
And today, I no more roam.
I hope filker0 and spiritdance got to their home.
It's all done, like the conchair's beer.
But we all got memories that will last the next year.
It's all done, and now I'm bored.
I have to rest satisfied that we're strangers no more.
