The Jessamine Corset closes at 26", making it suitable for natural waists of 29 to 33". In addition, since it's an overbust, I recommend it for a C-cup or larger bust. The theatre skirt has an elastic waist, but will stretch out to 48". The blouse fits a size 8-10 (up to a 41" bust measurement), and the bloomers and petticoat are open-sized.

Kakkoi|con is showcasing local designers the first night ofthe convention (Friday, August 1st, 2008) to promote the connections between fashion and anime, manga and pop/sub-culture. Throughout the weekend will be other fashion and subculture related programming. The mission of this fashion show is to visually explore the connections between anime/manga and fashion.
We are lucky to have had so many submissions and are excited to announce the designers for the Kakkoi|con 109 Fashion Show! Many of these designers are well known in their specific subculture communities as well as locally, while some of them are fresh new faces. There will also be some new collections unveiled for the first time before your eyes!

The First Annual Kakkoi|con 109 Fashion Show will take place at 8pm Friday August 1st in the Garden Court directly following opening ceremonies. Day passes will be available the weekend of the convention so if you unable to attend the rest of the weekend but still want to see the show and enjoy the amazing DJs afterwards, please feel free to buy your pass at the door for $20. This will give you all access to the events happening Friday August 1st.
August 1st, 2008 (This coming Friday), We will be holding our first full fashion show, as a part of Kakkoi Con in Minneapolis, MN. Seven outfits will walk the runway, introducing our new clothing styles! BJD Aesthetics Workshop - Saturday Morning
Six limited slots will be available to join a pair of faceup artists (Kiki-chan, scoundrelle, and aka_spooky) as they show you the basics in painting a BJD face-up. Learn popular tools and supplies, techniques, and even paint your own head! Attendance for participants is limited to 6, but those six will have the opportunity to paint their own head with the artists! This is a JunkySpot sponsored event, and Obitsu Gretel heads and face-up kits are free (over $60 value!!) to those who join early and participate!
BJD Cosplay - Saturday Evening
In this event, doll collectors will be able to compete against one another in a classic cosplay contest, in doll scale. Entrants will dress their dolls in the likenesses of their favorite anime, manga, or other asian media icon, in hopes of winning fabulous prizes! Prizes will be awarded based on workmanship, likeness to its inspiration, and most creative use of materials. Hosted by Zirconmermaid.
BJD Photo Shoot Hints and Tricks - Sunday Morning
Learn to take well-lit, dynamic photos of your dolls in various settings. Learn skills to take advantage of features around you, to take digital photos of your dolls that will make them the envy of any forum! Hosted by Heather Luca.
BJD Meetup and Bazaar - Sunday Afternoon
In this informal event, have the opportunity to meet other doll collectors and their dolls. Check out their latest additions and cool new costumes and outfits. Plus, bring any items you would like to trade, swap, barter, or sell for our bazaar as well.
Raffle tickets will be available at each of these events for participants for only $1 a piece, and will be drawn at the Sunday meetup for BJD prizes such as wigs, clothing, accessories, and even a convention-themed 1:4 scale ball-joint doll! Raffle tickets will be drawn at the Sunday Meetup - must be present to win!
