My dually XP box hosed itself after crashing while playing a demo of Delta Force: Black Hawk Down. It looks awesome, but I'll wait for a retail version. Spent most of the afternoon reinstalling and upgrading and critical-frickin-updating and stuff like that. I spent most of the day doing work and surfing on my Red Hat 8.0 box. I also spent some time on IRC (open source project IRC anyway). Here's what I heard at #ltsp:

These things are crack. They're "micro-rc" cars. They're called ZipZaps and you can get them for $19.95 at Radio Shack. Of course, you also have to get The Fast and the Furious street tuner kit. Well, you don't have to, but I did. I'll have to save a video clip for another day, but here are some pictures of my tricked-out rig. Yep, that's the green eclipse from TF&TF.
   
If anyone in the DC metro area wants to race, my car is a 49Mhz model, so get a 27Mhz model and drop me an email.

I saw My Big Fat Greek Wedding last night. Windex cures all. It's really an amazing movie that will make you laugh till you hurt. The theatre was almost packed for a 9:40 showing on a wednesday night. No wonder it was #9 in the box office last weekend and it has been out since before Spider Man.

My neighbors down the street just bought a Mercedes Glendwagen (from $73,165). It's officially the boxiest, ugliest SUV on the market. You can get them overseas for about half the price. I think maybe they overpaid. :)
