Title: 'Humour' , 'Melancholia' , 'Consanguinity'

Summary: A few owls, some books, and rather a lot of cups of tea.

I don't know what it's like with you, but when I stay up late to finish reading a story despite having slept for only two hours the previous night, it usually means that the aforementioned story is worth something. So I beg you, don't be too hard on me today, I just want to make sure the word is spread about these treasures. Go and read the three pieces of art. They are outstanding. They are brilliant. They have a marvellous external perspective on Harry and Snape and depict Muggle/Wizardind coexistence in a funny and very skillful way. However, what's probably the most interesting: before you get to enjoy the third part, the first two will successfully scare the living daylights out of you. You know you want to feel that, you do :).

PS: That is another debt I owe to [info]ac1d6urn. I should probably start making a list...

A good story, dark and light, very sad and (almost) heartwarming.
Though sometimes there was too much left for my own imagination, sometimes I would have wished to be taken by the hand and lead through the story. sometimes I felt a little lost as in a world where a lot was going on and I missed some of the important events. It might well be my fault, I wasn't all that concentrated this afternoon - Sunday is family telephone day and I was interrupted at least twice while reading.
My mum just called (Sunday!), I make it short: A good fic, but a little too sophisticated for my taste - I'm a good down-to-earth girl.

*grin* You're wrong. About summary that is. (Yep, I couldn't resist.) Quote: Plot summary: A few owls, some books, and rather a lot of cups of tea. and so on.

I'm so glad that the rec came in useful. :) No list is necessary.

*sigh* I just had to be wrong one day. It would be simply unnatural otherwise :).

Thanks again.

Woman! Didn't your Mummy tell you you should be in bed by midnight?
Especially when you have a stressful weekend to face.

Thanks for the rec, though, I saw acid's rec yesterday and put it on my to-read list. Your rec was the confirmation that reading it is the right thing to do.

Thanks for the CDs, btw. They finally arrived yesterday. Undamaged. I can understand your sudden urge 'to check every episode very thorougly', it is rather addictive, isn't it? I'll send you mine as soon as I managed to procure a DVD player. I promise!

M

Don't even mention my sleeping hours. You should have seen me on the lectures today :).

As for the CDs, I am very, very relieved. The post office should be as well, I was already plotting vengeance. They surely weren't in a desperate hurry, were they? The bastards :).

It might all have been part of international conspiracy. Your new president to be (who doesn't seem to be all that germanophil) and our new slightly polaniophob (ehm, ... whatever) conservative government to be - MILLIONS of you evil people come here every day to take away ALL the jobs, so they have to defend us *Shakes head* - decided that both sides would like it if there was less contact between our two countries and therefore they delay all mail.
Perhaps GWB is in this conspiracy as well...
He won't if he knows what's good for him.

This, my dear, makes perfect sense. But, uhm, they aren't making a great job of it if you have them figured out already :).

As for Mr GWB, I do hope he's not. I still have a postcard to send :).
