I beat Snake Eater last night! That has to be one of the best videogames I've ever played. It's fun and the graphics are beautiful! The character development was great. Kojima did too good of a job. I actually like Ocelot now (well his younger self anyway). He's adorable! Heheheh, he got owned so many times yet still came off as being competent. <3 Young Ocelot. I might like the young Big Boss better than Snake which I never ever thought could happen! Kojima did a great job helping us understand what shaped Big Boss into the man he became. The game actually made me cry a few times. I'll do a longer more spoiler filled write up another day. I'm such a pitiful fangirl. As I was playing the game I was taking notes.

How did I know if you took any icons that it would be the CV one? ;)
When I saw that picture with the moon in the background, Castlevania was the first thing I thought of. Can you even imagine what the music would sound like? *lol* The theme of Simon Belmont with an espionage twist.

MGS3: Snake Eater Keeps Rocking in the Free World
Hello there Scarbie. Glad to see you enjoyed MGS3, I think your praise for it might eventually lead me to buy it. And it must be really good, because I know it took you awhile to like MGS2, and you seemed to have loved this one off the bat. When I do get around to playing it, I hope they make a lot of jokes about Ocelot in it, and how he's going to lose his hand in the future. He should always be saying stuff like 'Need a Hand?' or 'Good thing I have my hand. It'd really suck if it got cut off by a robotic ninja in the future.' But I'm getting sidetracked here.

Keep up the coolness.

Hey there! Snake Eater is worth the money and I think you'll like it! The story was more straight forward than MGS2's and well done. I know you liked the gameplay from the demo and the hunting actually becomes pretty important around the middle of the game. At first I thought you could just hold on to the food but some of the it spoiled. But even the hunting wasn't useful it would be a fun distraction. Too bad it's not like GTA:SA where your character can get chubby if he doesn't work out. My Snake would have been fat as hell. The camera system was the only thing that wasn't perfect but it wasn't that big of an issue.

*LMAO* That would have been great if they had Ocelot say stuff like that! But don't worry, he gets himself in situations that'll make you laugh!

I honestly can't believe I am going to say this...*gulps*
I DO like the young Big Boss better than Snake, for various reasons. One of which is I felt like I got to go deeper into this snakes psyche and watch what shaped and changed him through out the game. Awesome, flawless charecter development and I worship Kojima for this.
OH! yay!!! you cried!?! I dun feel so bad now, hehe cause I cried too on some parts of that game... Goes to show you how superb the game is.
This is the best game ever created.

That makes me really want to play MGS3... But theres soooo many good games coming out right now. Jak 3 (Love.), Prince of Persia 2, Rachet and Clank, MGS3... Ahh.. So many.. Viewtiful Joe... Dammit! I havn't even passed the first Prince of Persia! Video games are great. ^^ You know what I mean Shelby. <3

There are too many games coming out! For me it's Prince of Persia 2, Resident Evil 4, and Devil May Cry 3. I haven't beaten the first Prince of Persia either. Maybe I'll accomplish that during my break. Hehehe, I know what you mean.

I didn't think it was possible I'd ever like a character more than Solid Snake, either. But dude, Young!Big Boss is just so ungodly awesome. Eeeee.
