Two things:
1: I'm a big jerk in my last year of engineering school. I'm going to be neglecting LJ as much as possible until at least the end of April 2009.
2: All posts are friends-only after a month.

I just remembered, being that I had to turn my computer on and off a couple times to install my printer and so my iTunes restarted and asked if I wanted to install iTunes 8.0 ...
Anne's dad was totally ridiculing me some day in recent memory because I was saying how I'd like to get a newer version of OSX because some of my third party applications weren't updating for X.3 anymore. (In this case "ridiculing" implies "a knowing look.")
But now Apple has apparently abandoned me, too.
:(

So I'm probably about a thousand years behind the times with this one, but has anyone else heard this song "Sun Comes Up, It's Tuesday Morning" by Cowboy Junkies? I'm in love with it, and since they apparently have another song titled "Murder, Tonight, In The Trailer Park" I may also be in love with Cowboy Junkies. Further investigation is definitely warranted.
In fact I'm quite pleased with my latest set of 100 songs, since it's yielded two new five-star ratings: the song I just mentioned, and "Your Party" by Ween.

I am of course procrastinating. Tonight's task is kind of undetermined at the moment. Probably French grammar. I'm trying to get ahead/finished with it, so that I can concentrate on things that are far more important. I'm also realizing how atrocious my grammar is, in both of my languages. However I feel it's necessary to state that ever since Anne educated me in Anarchy Linguistics (the only kind of anarchy I support, the main tenet of which is that if you say it and I understand it, it's a word), I've had even less use for the really proper grammar. Unfortunately, while I can get away with speaking my franglais and anglicismes to my sister, I need to use the real stuff in class. Goodness.
Did any of that make sense?
Man, guys, I don't even know what else to blog about. I can't believe September's almost over. Oh, and I'm 22 now?
I'd forgotten the vague feeling of slow-cooking insanity I have during the school year.
Oh! Games Night #1 was this Sunday and it was quite fun. This time around was Uno&Vino, and then we also played Asshole, because the Uno game didn't last through the whole three bottles of wine. I'd post pictures except that I'm lazy and I should really be doing homework. Or something. Actually the whole weekend was quite fun, though. So far I have no plans for this weekend, besides shopping on Saturday, doing a ton of homework, and calling Mom to let her know that I don't think I'll have anything even remotely resembling time to spend a weekend in PA. Maybe no outings, and I'll just hang out with Mitch.

For the first time in I can't even remember how long I have conflicting invitations for a Saturday evening.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.
I'm a hopeless timewaster, so right now I'm going to post as many pictures as I can stand to, and quite possibly some text too?

Oh, and does anyone remember me mentioning my plant, Morrison? Here's what it looks like now:

I almost cried when I saw this.
fyi. I apologize for being awful.

I just want to say:
a) that I am totally confused, and
b) the Apocalypse was apparently averted for a few more years, i.e. we're not all dead.
A more comprehensive post is imminent, but right now I have to go attempt to analyze a reinforced concrete beam (on paper) for the next two and a quarter hours.
